Beachfront holiday rentals in Grad Hvar

This property was so lovely. It is quite small, but perfect for a solo traveller like myself or a couple. Such a lovely outside space to enjoy the natural surroundings and sea. The sea is just a step across a quiet road and down some stone steps and straight into the water. Beautiful! There is a lovely pebbly beach 5 mins walk away if you prefer not to swim off the rocks. The walk into the main town is about 20 mins. The host Darije is a lovely man and always so helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment.

We had an amazing time @ Jacolien’s place. The location is perfect, the area calm and relaxing, the view is stunning and you also wake up with the cigales. I will definitely come back here for my next trip in Hvar. Highly recommend !

Sime and Jelka were very good hosts and very friendly. Communication was fluent. I had a problem with the mattress and Jelka was very open and very quickly conjured up a good solution for me thank you! She goes out of her way to make sure she doesn't miss anything☺️. The location is simply great, a 3-minute walk from the sea, 12 minutes from the center of Hvar. Very quiet location. Parking in front of the house. 2 huge terrace to linger with beautiful sunsets😍. A shower curtain would be ideal in the bathroom. The apartment is simply furnished with gas stove in the kitchen, which is awesome! Thank you Jelka and can recommend this place with a good feeling! The apartament was compact and nice, equipped with everything someone can ask for, Marija and her family are very friendly and respond quickly for questions. Worth it!

Sanja was an amazing host. Even sent my clothes that I forgot to my friend in Zagreb. only concern was the cost of the taxi to get up and down. be prepared to pay 20 euro every taxi ride. but the view from her apt was amazing and she was so accommodating with flexible check in times and the apt was more than adequate

The perfect stay! Beautiful location with access for a dip in the sea less than a minute walk away. The infamous Pokonji beach around a 10 minute walk too. And only a 20 minute walk along the promenade into the port, we rented a scooter so we could travel the island more and get into down quicker. The apartment was the perfect size for two and had everything we needed from; beach towels, to cooking equipment, coffee & tea. The upstairs deck was beautiful to sunbathe on. Darjie looked after us for our stay, he greated us when we arrived and gave us some information on the local area and was always around when ever we needed anything and was very kind. He also allowed us to have an early check in and a late check out! I would highly recommend this place to any couples, much nicer than being right in the port.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation is in a perfect location—close to plenty of great restaurants, bars, and local spots. Although we arrived earlier than the official check-in time, Vlad was incredibly accommodating and kindly let us in early. We were welcomed with a beautifully prepared home and thoughtful extras like fresh fruit, cheese, ham, beers, wine, and water in the fridge. The house itself is comfortable, with cozy beds and a great space to relax after a long day of work. It really felt like a home away from home. Vlad was an exceptional host—responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely hospitable. He went above and beyond by sending us recommendations for amazing places to eat and even helped us secure a reservation at one of the island's top restaurants. On our last day, he graciously allowed us to store our heavy luggage in his basement after checkout, which was a huge help since we had a late flight. I can't speak highly enough of both the place and Vlad’s hospitality

Steps away from a beautiful and not crowded beach (mid- July). Because it’s away from the £££ area of Hvar, beach beds are only €20 for two including parasol. Apartment has two bathrooms, so big enough for 4 adults, assuming you are eating out in the evenings.

We had a great stay. The apartment was very clean and quiet, and access to the pool and terrace was great.

Spomenka was very nice and help us from the first day, how to come to her apartment, organized a taxi etc. she was very friendly and lovely and gave as recommendations for staying in Hvar. When we needed something, she responded very fast. The apartment has a nice view on the sea, and is 10 min on foot away from the port. It has everything you need for a good vacation in Hvar :-)

Josipa's place was in a beautiful location, very near to the centre of Stari Grad and to the Port. Josipa upgraded our apartment when we arrived to a lovely apartment with a great pool and sea view. Josipa offered to pick us up from the Ferry port at the start of our stay and gave us a lift back to the Ferry at the end of the stay. Apartment was a good size, with everything we needed in the Kitchen and a lovely big double bed, which was very comfy. Josifa even gave us a present of some local biscuits, when we left. We had a lovely stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you Josifa.

The location was wonderful. I traveled with three teenagers who loved that they could walk to the town to go out at night and walk to the beach. The adults loved the pool and how close the beaches were. The only thing that wasn’t 100% great was the air conditioning. He needed another unit in the living room area of the upper apartment. We were there in July when temperatures were 90 degrees + and we couldn’t use the living room, too hot. I would definitely book again.

Villa Vito is in a beautiful setting with views over a secluded bay, and surrounded by olive groves. The outside space is thoughtfully designed to create a really peaceful and lovely area. We were there in the penultimate week of May and were very unlucky with the weather. Rain, high winds and chilly nights, although we did have some intermittent sunshine. We used the pool and swam in the sea. Overall we felt that the villa will work really well in better weather, when the outside space will really come into its own and evenings can be spent around the table by the pool, and making use of the outside sofa area. Inside, the downstairs space is rather limited, especially when confined by the weather as it is just an open plan kitchen with a sofa area at one end. It was fine for two but we felt it might be a bit 'tight' for a group of six. Ambroz was a very responsive and helpful host, especially when we had trouble with the door and the hot water, quickly sorting things out for us.

The house is located in a peaceful and safe area. There is a pleasant terrace by the apartment with a view of the entire bay. We had a fantastic view both in the morning and in the evening. The host is very friendly and gave us lots of valuable tips about the place, the area, and the whole island. On the other side of the bay, there are two restaurants, and one of them serves only fresh fish. I 100% recommend this restaurant. The resort also offers SUPs and a kayak. Kayaking in the bay in the morning is amazing. The water is very clear. I highly recommend this place.

Villa Huerte is in a peaceful, quiet location just outside of Hvar. We enjoyed our stay there. Lovorka is an incredible host. She welcomed us with an early check in. Her information package was very complete with places to visit, restaurant recommendations, and things to do around the island. Her suggestions were spot on. We ate at several of her recommended restaurants and had amazing meals. Breakfast in the morning was very nice as well. The view from the deck while eating really started the day off nicely. Relaxing around the pool and on the dock was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing. Thanks so much Lovorka.

We had a lovely stay at Tamara’s Airbnb, she was really friendly and helpful and the apartment was located in a perfect location near the ferry in hvar. It was very big and clean and the view was amazing💫

Stayed for 4 days in this great apartment. Amazing views over the sea, big terrace with sunbeds. Short 15min walk to main square and about the same to beach but lots of close swimming spots too. Martina let us leave our bags when our ferry arrived prior to check in which was very much appreciated. There was a bit of a language barrier with Martina speaking German but she was lovely. A great find in Hvar

We spent a week at this beautiful lower level condo. Had a great view and walkable to town of Hvar and the beach. We did have a car so we did explore other beaches throughout the Island. We loved the fast food restaurant right next door and the shaded parking.

Hard to find the words to describe how much my family enjoyed our (too) brief stay at Golden Bay. From the moment we arrived we were met with smiles and felt right at home. The staff was attentive, personable and kind. Philip the host was there for whatever we needed and Leo’s cooking was out of this world fantastic. Last but not least, Jacob made us feel like family. If you are on the island of Hvar, you truly ought to carve out a few nights to stay here. Tranquil, beautiful, relaxing, and a feeling of home. We shall return!

This is the perfect place to stay in hvar. The location is excellent, house is well equipped and the view from the balcony is incredible. The hosts went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful for our wonderful stay.

This apartment is perfectly situated in Hvar old town! The hosts have strong local connections that they shared with us and the best bar in town was just outside our door! And we didn’t even hear the bar downstairs when we went to bed. Comfortable, clean, safe - great space!

Andreja’s place was great, it’s up a bit of stairs but so is half the city! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. The extra room for reading and leaving our luggage was great
