Holiday rentals with beach access in Grad Hvar

Ivan’s place is up 150 steps from the waterfront and those steps reward you with a view over Hvar harbour, so you can sit on the balcony and gaze at the Fortress or watch the boats coming up the channel and in and out of the harbour. So some may find the steps difficult, but the reward is definitely worth it. For the apartment itself, it is spacious, clean and has everything you need. It was great to relax there. This is the 7th Airbnb we’ve stayed on in this trip and the first one to be met by someone. Pero, Ivan’s dad, met us off the boat and carried my wife’s suitcase up the stairs: very much appreciated. He also showed us around the apartment. A nice touch. Ivan was always responsive and facilitated extending our stay and being flexible with checkout, so we could align with our next move. So we were extremely impressed by the apartment and would highly recommend it

Our only regret is not booking this little serene piece of beauty right from paradise for a longer duration. Please go ahead and book it! Vinkica is an amazing host, she got us a baby cot, got us wine bottles on her way to the property on request from the supermarket and very polite. We would definitely like to visit again and would recommend this place to our friends and family. For a couple - it can be really romantic. The days go by swimming and lounging and you can always have some quality time right beside the sea singing with your partner and slow dance in the balcony. Truly amazing!

Ante is a fantastic host! The pictures do not do the place justice. The view is gorgeous, the walk to town is peaceful with great scenery. We were only there for 3 nights, and ate an Ante’s recommended spots for two of them and they were delicious. Highly recommend staying here for your Hvar visit.

We loved our stay here!!! The view is absolutely beautiful and the apartment was clean and comfortable. It was giant! We were met with Lily the family dog downstairs and she was so sweet!Definitely a great place to stay. Jasmina helped us out by letting us check out later when we had an issue arise in Hvar Old Town and was so kind. It is definitely a bit difficult to get back and forth from Hvar Old Town in a cheap way but if you’re planning on renting a car or staying in Stari Grad it’s beautiful and easy to get to Old Town Stari Grad from the apartment! 10/10 recommend!

Lovely location - 15 mins walk from the center, 10 mins walk from the beach and a small supermarket just across the road. Ivana was very responsive and helpful through our full stay. Hvar is a beautiful island and I would definitely stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay at Katarina's place. It's a very short walk from the town center, but away from the main hustle and bustle. We didn't encounter too much noise in the apartment, but in peak season there is probably a little bit (but that's the price for being so close to the town). There are various beaches ~20 minutes walk away. As others have mentioned, there are some stairs up the hill to the apartment, but nothing too extreme. Everything in the apartment was as described, and we enjoyed the view from the terrace. Our only minor pain point was that on a couple of occasions people entered the terrace area briefly whilst we were inside (one time some children, and another perhaps a guest from a different apartment in the building taking a photo?) - so perhaps the terrace would benefit from a gate or a sign to maintain the privacy. But all in all, a good experience.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij de familie Duzevic. Het appartement is erg schoon, met een goed uitgeruste keuken, een fijne douche en een goed bed. Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van het centrum met supermarkt, bakker en fijne restaurants. De familie is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er werd groente gedeeld uit de tuin - zo lief! Wij bevelen dit appartement ten zeerste aan!

Wow! What an amazing stay! So we’ll located by the sea and a ten minute walk to a superb beach. Mary’s place was ideal with everything we needed and a wonderful sun terrace. Mary was a delight and so friendly and helpful. Would love to go again.

Giuliana and Marin’s place is impeccably clean with an amazing view from the balcony. We had such a pleasant time at their place. The location is so accessible from the town, with a supermarket right in front of their house. Its so nice to be in an airbnb where everything is so neat and clean. Highly recommend. Giuliana and Marin are also super responsive and caring hosts!

We spent an incredible 6 nights here. The views are out of this world. We loved the easy access to Sveta Nedilja's small but beautiful beach just below the house. The property has so many options for outside seating and lounging, and every corner is as beautiful as the next. We also loved the local restaurant, a 2 minute walk away! Marija is a wonderful, warm and kind host who made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The place is extremely amazing. The appartement is like 10min with car from center. Note that uber is not working so you need to take a taxi everytime you go to center. The jacuzzi is amazing with a private beach , there is hotel next to it where you can have lunch or dinner and also 15min walk from another place for food, it’s extremely nice if you’d like to have some peace and out of city. I recommend

Ivana’s place was perfect for our stay in Hvar. It was the cutest Airbnb with a really cute Mediterranean garden and Ivana was so so helpful with all the local recommendations and being flexible with our check in. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for Hvar as it’s private and peaceful but just a 10 minute walk away from the main center.

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE - top Airbnb in Hvar (or possibly the whole world) Best view on the entire island. Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing accommodations, super clean and quaint place. renting scooters to get around was a game changer, bring snacks for the kitties :) taxi recommendation from host was easy to call up to get for nights out. you’re the only residents on the hill so enjoyed the privacy yet easily accessibility to Hvar and Milna via 5-10min scooter ride. Literally cannot say more about how awesome this place / experience was!!!! Wish we could include pictures of the view from the living room because it was breathe-taking. Would ONLY stay here when we return :) a few steps to climb and probably not recommended for older folks who can’t haul luggage up but totally worth it for the view, the house, and the amazing hosts if you’re able. We’ll be back next time!

A lovely Airbnb stay on a beautiful island ! Host was very helpful and responsive with any queries had. Location was ideal as could walk to the beaches within 2 mins and boat to hvar was only 10 mins.

Great accommodation. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable with an amazing view of the sea. Very friendly and personable host, provided transport from the old town upon arrival and departure, gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us immediately with any queries. And even gave us a delicious bottle of homemade wine, highly recommend

We had a wonderful week at Lucija's place . Very beautiful location and lovely apartment with gorgeous large terrace overlooking outstanding views of the bay . Lucija is such a lovely host and we were warmly greeted on our arrival - we immediately felt very much at home . The apartment and terrace complete with sun loungers as well as comfy patio chairs & table for dining , has everything you need and very clean ,comfortable, peaceful and safe. There are many areas on the rocks across the road from where you can swim and the supermarket and lovely local bars and restaurants are conveniently just down the road as awell as Hvar town being just twenty minute coastal walk. We enjoyed visiting beautiful Pokonji Dol beach which is a picturesque twenty minute walk - 20 euros for beach loungers and 10 euros for umbrella . Nice beach restaurant too . We feel so grateful to have had such a pefect holiday staying in lucija's home and highly recommend .

Increible apartment in Hvar. It was very near the main pier. The view outstanding and Francesco was incredibly kind with us sharind local recommendations and offering help at any time. We were 5 in the apartment and were really comfortable. Definetively a place I would like to visit again with my family!

We spent a week at this beautiful lower level condo. Had a great view and walkable to town of Hvar and the beach. We did have a car so we did explore other beaches throughout the Island. We loved the fast food restaurant right next door and the shaded parking.

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. It had everything we possibly needed for a and the location was great - just a couple of minutes away from the center so that you could walk there but also not close enough for us to hear the noise of the town at night. We specially liked the little terrace with an incredible view where we had breakfast sometimes. Višnja was also super friendly, helpful and attentive. We felt really comfortable and would stay here again if we come back to Hvar. 😊

This rental property is so great. Our family arrived overtired, soaked from the rain, not feeling well from a very rough catamaran ride from Dubrovnik, and we were so hungry. This accommodation turned it all around! They left us a box of pasta and red sauce (we were all beyond grateful) and a stocked kitchen with so many helpful and special and generous add-ons. Beds were comfy. There is a market very close by for immediate food and beverages. The view was beautiful. It's an easy walk to and from the Ferry Port of Hvar... and all of the fun places in town. We rented e-bikes from Antonio Rent... which we highly recommend... also not far from this airbnb. Exploring by e-bike is such an efficient and fun way to visit so many places in one day... then coming home to this airbnb for a solid place to sleep, was perfect. This airbnb and the bike tour were so instrumental in turning things around, and making Hvar our favorite stop in Croatia. Coffee machine is Top Notch!

Great location, clean, and inviting. Felt right at home on arrival. WiFi and AC worked great which was really helpful navigating the area and AC was incredible during the heat wave going on. The host provided directions to the apartment in picture form which came in handy when we arrived off the ferry, didn’t have a way to navigate at the time. Host was accommodating and responded quickly. Couldn’t ask for more!

Antonia propose à very nice apartment, very spacious with all you need within. It is located in a secluded little village, with access to nice beaches. Antonia welcomes you in person , which is very rare nowadays in Airbnb rentals, and gives you useful information and also she is there too when you leave. Antonia is a great host, we’ve loved staying at her apartment. We definitely recommend it.

Great location, a quiet area right beside a beach and two supermarkets, but also only a 10 minutes coastal walk into the heart of the town. Vesna was a great host!
