Medieval Old city of Buzet lies on a hilltop above a fertile valley of the longest Istrian river Mirna which is visible from the large Skadanjs' terrace. Skadanj is situated in a small village Krbavčići near the mountainous plateau Ćićarija. Previously, Skadanj was an old threshing barn that has been built by our grandparents, located at the end of the village and surrounded by the green area. In 2017 it was renovated. Outside the house is a beautiful swimming pool with the wooden sun deck.

The apartment (a small house) is situated in the village Paladini near town Buzet known as the "city of truffles"(12km). 13 km from the beautiful old town Motovun and 18km from Hum the smallest town in the world. The views from the village are stunning. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We also have a Truffle shop and we can organize truffle hunting in family Karlić tartufi.

Great stay with my girlfriend and (almost) grow-up children. Spacious house and rooms. The stone house itself was nicely cool during the hot summer. We used both the pizza oven (lot of fun!) and the BBQ place. The pool was excellent, very refreshing and clean.

We had a great time during the Christmas holiday's in the 4 Seasons House. Everything advertised was available and the contact with Ivan was both quick and pro-active, letting us know that the roads were OK even though it had snowed. If you are looking for a place to escape the everyday world and enjoy the quiet and the beautiful nature, the 4 Seasons House is perfect for that. Would recommend for anyone looking for a break!

The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, spacious & the hosts are really nice people. There is an old town on the hill, good for walking and provides a picturesque scenery. There are some promising café, restaurants there too. We could park the car right in front of the house. You have access to many interesting destinations, including Trieste area, Slovenian beaches and coastal towns and of course the Istrian peninsula with all of its treasures.

We really enjoyed this place. Sovinjak is a quiet little hamlet, little bit middle of nowhere. The views were terrific. It was very quiet and peaceful. Nearby Buzet offers shopping. Motovun is a beautiful town to visit. The seaside is only 1 hour drive. The house is comfortable and has charm. Its rustic and cosy. The garden has a terrace and a swimming pool our children spent most of the days in. We were also very happy with the airco in the bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay here!
