Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Goulburn River

Absolutely stunning views, you walk outside the sliding doors that overlooked the pool and it is breathtaking. The house was in very clean condition. I was able to take my children to the stables that’s on the property to feed the horses, donkeys and dogs. The kangaroos came to the front of the property each morning. Honestly a 10/10. Hosts were very helpful too, were super responsive and helped me find a private chef that came out to the property. Thanks again

Very well maintained BnB on Lake Nillahcootie with wonderful views just 15-20min from Mansfield. The property is on a farm with farm animals to look at and paddocks to roam. Walking along the paddocks by the lake was very beautiful. Came here with my family and there was a lot for my toddler to explore. The fireplace with the gate around it was a bonus! The host is very responsive; we had an issue come up during our stay and it was promptly rectified. All in all definitely recommend for a peaceful and beautiful country stay.

awesome little place perfect for a quiet getaway

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s great for a retreat from the hustling and bustling life, and transport you back into nature. It’s very secluded, but it is meant to be the way it is. A Stonehill retreat. If you are looking for something that is near town, this is not for you. But if you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful place, I would recommend it 200%! Jacqui was also extremely helpful in her travel directions, and took extra effort to provide us with some oil when we ran out. Thanks much!

Eric couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Their starter kitchen breakfast was perfect and delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, and the bedding extremely comfortable. We’d flown over from Scotland, so comfort was important. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was a great place, and we had a wonderful time there. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was beautifully designed with decor and items from the past—each piece seemed to have a story behind it, which made the atmosphere feel really special and nostalgic. The location was peaceful and just a 10-minute walk to the river, which was lovely. There were cows and sheep nearby, adding to the relaxing, countryside vibe. It's about a 30-minute drive from Echuca, so we recommend buying everything you need beforehand. The only issue we had was with the hot tub. it wasn’t warm enough to enjoy in the cold weather, staying around 27°C. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay with Melinda at Creekside. The place is cosy and inviting. It is tucked away on the creek - as the name suggests - which provides privacy and is peacefully quiet, yet it is still very close to cafes, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Melinda is a friendly host with great communication. I'd highly recommend anyone to come and stay if you are ever visiting Mansfield. Top notch.

Geoff’s place was absolutely amazing! Real cozy as we wanted and lots of space to hang out. I added my sister last minute but Geoff didn’t charge as extra. We even had free milk, juice, bread etc! Really recommended. Only airbnb I’ve been with 3 smart TVs! Couldn’t have asked for more.

The “Old Crossroads Store” was a beautiful place to stay. A really well done conversion that still pays homage to its early days. It’s beautifully furnished and decorated, and makes you feel at home. Marcia and Troy were great hosts, we loved our stay and would happily stay here again.

Alex’s place was so cozy and was a perfect spot for us to explore Warburton from. It comes with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay as well as a lovely guest book with plenty of recommendations from previous guests! Alex was also incredibly helpful in providing useful information about restaurants, trials and sights around the Warburton area. Thanks for having us!

My second time staying at Kate's place. Met Kate before checking-in and had a pleasant conversation over a cuppa before checking-in. Her place is super convenient and the tram is literally at the doorstep. No noise from road. Very cosy. My go-to place now when I'm in Melbourne. Thanks Kate!! :)

Craig and Maggie were perfect hosts - friendly, flexible with great communication. The studio was a perfect base for exploring the Yarra Valley and it was also so nice to be able to walk to restaurants, bars and even to wine tasting and the distillery. The studio was clean, comfortable, warm and cosy and we enjoyed the view of the valley while lying in bed! We would definitely hope to stay again if we come back to the area.

Such a wonderful little luxury bed and breakfast fully contained studio suite, everything is just beautiful with homemade breakfast treats too! Veronica is a lovely host who graciously accepted my late night reservation and greeted me with warmth and kindness.

Anne’s unit was quiet, in a residential area, well located for what we needed, warm and well equipped. Great selection of coffees, teas and chocolate drinks which we appreciated. We would happily recommend this to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay and were grateful to call this wonderful apartment “home” if only for one night! The host was very responsive and friendly, making us feel supported and welcome. The thorough instructions provided made check-in and check-out easy and stress free. The central location was perfect for our needs and I would love to stay again future. Its an apartment with a magnificent view across Melbourne, right next to the incredible Victoria Market and the thumping heart of the centre of the city. Yet it is peaceful and quiet. The pool is long and lovely and there is a gym too. Selina was wonderful and responsive. Would definitely come back if I visited Melbourne again.

The hosts were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs and really made our stay extremely pleasant! The place is huge even for a family of 8, not to mention the spectacular view from level 59! Definitely value for money and highly recommended for those looking for a place to stay in the CBD area.

We stayed 5 weeks in the apartment and loved it. It’s bright, airy and has everything we needed to feel at home. Great location in the heart of Hawthorn and so close to train station, trams and lots of great food places. Highly recommend.

Had the most wonderful, peaceful & rejuvenating stay at this apartment given its wonderful location by the Yarra Trail. Apartment was well appointed with stated amenities, bed was comfortable & all appliances functioned effectively. Appreciate the very flexible & generous check in/check out times, constant communication from host James. Undercover secure carpark added to the convenience as did the two nearby cafes & delightful stroll along the Yarra to the Collingwood Children’s Farm & The Convent cafes/restaurants. We will definitely stay again!
