Ballycannon Cottage is nestled in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) area of Donegal, between the Derryveigh Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballycannon cottage is a great choice for exploring Donegal’s many wonders.

Teach Barney in the stunning North West of Donegal 1km from Gaeltacht Village of Falcarragh with views of the mountains and the ocean. The house is comfortable with a large private decked area. Visitors can enjoy walking/cycling on many miles of marked walks including the disused single gauge railway. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

Donegal Mountain Lodge

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

Small traditional Irish cottage 2 minute drive from creeslough town and 15 minute drive from dunfanaghy, cottage is beside a river If you wanted to fish , 5 minute drive from ards forest park where there is lovely walks and a beautiful beach. The cottage has 1 bedroom with double bed , living room/kitchen with stove fire, the sofa is a sofa bed also. cottage has central heating also
