Townhome holiday rentals in Gooise Meren

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

Our family of three enjoyed the property for 2 weeks in Amsterdam. Sanders’s home is comfortable, well appointed and a great location. Very walkable, in the center of lots to do but a quiet spot away from the crowds. It was steps away from the tram which is a straight shot to Dam square and the Jordaan district. The weather was great during our stay so the patio was wonderful in the mornings, and the air conditioning was welcome during the warm days. Check in and check out was super easy and Sanders was a great host always quick to respond. We would definitely return.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It’s in a very quiet area but close to trams for a short trip into the city center. Barbara’s communication was excellent! She was quick to respond and answered so many questions for us. She also went above and beyond by finding a travel cot for our son. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

Unfortunately, the stay was too short, we couldn't enjoy it enough. The place is super nature lake and close to the city. Caroline was there at Check-in and Check-out, very professional and very friendly. Thanks

We had a perfect time at elien and frankys place!!! It’s a super charming house that has a great vibe, very very clean, kid friendly and exactly as described! My daughter felt at home and that was important for us! And so did we! Would come back anytime!

Beautiful house with delightful views. Modern architecture and lots of space for a family. Quiet location with great connection to the busy center of Amsterdam. In the Ijburg neighborhood there's everything you need. And on weekdays we had the beach almost exclusively to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Maartje.

Anne's place was a dream. We stayed there for a month and it felt so perfectly home-like at once. Anne is herself an inspiring woman, and the energy she's set in the house is special and deeply rejuvenating. Everything in the house has intent & love. And the atmosphere through our stay reflected that. But let's get to the practicalities. The house is on the outskirts of the city, but easily accessible via local transport & a short walk. The area itself feels like you're in a beautiful countryside townhouse, with lots of privacy, natural beauty, walking trails, and peace. The supermarkets and some local cafes etc are a short walk away too, for your convenience. The house has excellent amenities, a fantastic shower, comfy beds, lots of space, a beatific backyard, warm heating, and a lovely piano. The internet was steady and fast, and we felt like we could live there forever. We'll definitely be back, to spend more time in the house, and to meet Anne. ❤️ Our fave AirBnB stay. Ever.

Was one of the best Airbnb experiences we ever had. Our family of 5 stayed at Bas and Astrid's home for 3 nights, we felt right at home - everything was perfect and clean. The house is beautiful and of course we enjoyed the company of cat George, he is so friendly and cute. The bus station was very close and made it convenient to get to Amsterdam City central. Thank you so much we hope to be back one day!

We loved staying at this apartment. This is clearly a home - decorated as such. The kitchen is well stocked; there are tub toys for kids. The location is close to transit and there are plenty of cute restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the park and a climbing structure right down the street. We traveled with a 10 and 6 year old who adored the cats. The apartment is cozy for relaxing and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace. I would definitely recommend staying here as a family.

We had a lovely stay at Claudia's. The house is very nice and spacious even for five. the small garden is very pleasant and peaceful. The location is ideally located, Amsterdam is very easily accessible as well as many other places. Amersfoort is a city worth visiting as well.

Roelands house was perfect for our family. it's in a peaceful and quiet part of amsterdam next to tons of great food and parks (for my daughter.) it's very spacious and housed us well. thank you!

We stayed at Florine’s place with our four month old baby and it was the perfect set up. Florine was so responsive and helpful with recommendations and made sure we had every thing we needed for the baby. The apartment was super clean and lovely - I’d say it was better than the photos. The area was quieter and a bit more removed from the more touristy parts of the city and we felt like we got a taste of normal life in Amsterdam.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a corner of Utrecht that I suspect many tourists would miss. Ideal for a single traveller or couple. Comfortable walk into central Utrecht, or a single tram or train stop to Centrum.

Good location for us, peaceful neighbourhood. Not many pubs or restaurants nearby but plenty of supermarkets and convenience stores.

We loved staying in Heidi's home. it was very easy to find with a train stop right across from the house. the house itself was very clean, the beds were comfy and the garden is a lovely addition. there are playgrounds near by so ideal for children we did have a couple of issues but Heidi was quick to respond. overall it's an ideal location for a family.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! It is a very quiet neighbourhood and it was easy to get to the city centre with the bikes. The communication with Luc Was also super easy and friendly :)
