Great place for us to stay as a family! We walked to/from the brewery. Could have easily walked to/from dining and shops. We recommend Lori’s place for your next Shiner stay!

This last-minute booking turned into a total jackpot. Options in the area were slim, and our expectations were even slimmer—until we found this gem! From the moment we pulled in, we were pleasantly surprised. It’s charming, peaceful, and so cozy we instantly felt at home. Our fur baby rediscovered her inner farm dog, and I rediscovered the joy of sipping coffee on a quiet porch while watching chickens and cows live their best lives. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living space was roomy, and the bedrooms were cozy, clean, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The small details were exactly how an Airbnb should be—a true home away from home. Bonus: it’s stocked like they read your mind. Forgot something? They’ve got it. With a gated entrance, covered parking, and views for days, this place was the perfect peaceful reset. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay. We had 3 families(12 total) and fit comfortably. The river access was so much fun and the kids loved playing. The porch was our favorite spot, early mornings or late evenings the views and breeze were fantastic.

Shay and Sami were great hosts. Always responsive. House super cute.

The setting was secluded and peaceful which was wonderful for our family. The floor plan was nicely designed and worked so well for our group. Sarah was our contact and made sure we had everything we needed! We had a great stay and would pick this airb&b again!

This place was great. The grounds and pool area are very peaceful and serene. She has so many beautiful plants everywhere, you can tell how thoughtful and well taken care of everything is. Very peaceful energy. I enjoyed it.

We had a family reunion at Ben’s modern ranch, which was a lovely and peaceful place. The pictures matched the description. We enjoyed the pool, petting zoo, and deck area. Overall, I highly recommend it for a family gathering. The only interruption we faced was from a neighborhood dog that kept coming back. He was friendly, but our small dogs didn’t appreciate his presence as much. Some time during the day, he managed to take a few of our shoes. Aside from that, we had an amazing time! We visited the Shiner Brewery afterwards (20 mins away!).

Place was as described. Very beautiful scenery, very private, clean , peaceful. Worth every dollar spent

This house was very clean and well maintained so our stay was very pleasant. The area is beautiful and the deck is very nice to sit out on in the evening. Joe was very friendly and a great host and I felt I could call him whenever necessary. You will not be disappointed if you choose this house as your home on your visit to this area.

We stayed at these cabins for a month between our move from Michigan to our forever home here in Texas. Michelle and her family are such gracious hosts and they really make you feel like family!

We loved our stay at Michelle's place! The house was clean and neat. It was very attractive, comfortable and very nicely appointed. Michelle has thought of every detail and it shows. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and bath had everything we needed, and the living room had a really nice seating area. One thing to note is that the loft has a very, very low ceiling. If you study the photos you can use the size of the bed pillow and air conditioner unit to get an idea of scale. Guests who stay upstairs will need to bend over or crouch-down low while up there. That said, we managed just fine. Kids might especially like it since it is a unique and cozy space! A rather steep, narrow set of steps leads up to the loft that might be tricky to navigate for someone who has balance issues or knee problems. We would certainly come back and stay there again. It is peaceful and lovely. Thanks, Michelle, for a great stay!

Absolutely awesome place to glamp with the family. Beautiful grounds, and amazing "tents!" The kids didn't want to leave.

Loved this spot!! Donny was very responsive and accommodating. I do wish we would have known about the personal chef prior to the day of our stay. We found out about it an hour before check in which was a bummer, but we had such a good time nonetheless!! My friends and I will definitely go back

We absolutely loved our stay. The Little Dipper was perfect! Cozy, comfy and has great amenities. The bed is so comfortable as well. Only regret I have is getting the place for one night.

From the moment we arrived at the WahWah property we knew we would want to come back. It’s such a nice step away from the busy day to day life. We really enjoyed getting to enjoy each other and the outdoors without a phone or TV to distract us. The provided golf cart was great and we enjoyed driving through the property. We were lucky and saw plenty of deer, a turkey and 2 armadillos! We got to experience Fly Fishing with Ryan from Go Outside and Explore and it’s safe to say we are hooked 😉 Will defiantly be back in the warmer months so we can take full advantage of the San Marcos River!

This little tent has the right vibes and was just right for a weekend getaway for our group of 5 twenty-somethings! The listing on AirBNB doesn’t include all the extra things we were excited about once we arrived - like an electric golf cart to get around the property (which is massive!), tons of outdoor lounging space, and even opportunities to order food (they request 48 hours ahead of time but sometimes they can make it work with less time!). Go to the website for the resort to find out more! There’s a lovely large river area you can easily go tubing, kayaking, or just swimming in. There’s also sand volleyball, a bocce ball pit, a fire pit (complete with wood & a lighter) and so much more. The tents were private despite it being a resort-like property. Don’t hesitate to live out your best glamping adventures here! PS - not having WiFi allowed us to be more in the moment with each other - the cell phone service is good enough to do what you need to :)

We had a great time staying here. Had everything we needed and when we shared washer/dryer troubles Michelle promptly brought us clean dry towels. Our stay was private and peaceful and a 30 minute drive from all the activities we had planned.
