Cottage holiday rentals in Gold Beach

This was a wonderful place! I loved the back yard and the amenities for the outdoor adventures. The house was impressively clean and the host was very friendly and helped with recommendations. This was my favorite Airbnb!

We enjoyed our stay at the Starfish Cottage very much. The cottage was clean and well stocked with towels and linens. The beds were comfortable after a long day on the beach as was the hot tub on the balcony. We spent more time on that balcony enjoying the view than probably the beach itself! Sherri was a wonderful host. Communicated with us every step of the way and gave some great restaurant recommendations. Our family will definitely return.

It was a very nice cabin and so close to the beach even though there wasn't a direct view of the beach. The view of the creek was nice and you could see fish jumping out of the water - it was that close.

This was our 2nd stay here! We are from Ohio and fell in love with the area on our 1st stay. The house had everything we needed and LOVE the location.

We had an excellent stay. It was just what we needed for a quick getaway, recharge. The water and scene was stellar, and the hot tub was a bonus! Everything was simple and straight forward for check-in and clearly explained by the host! Definitely recommend this sweet spot!

If you are in need of space to restore then this is it! Quiet, peaceful and with amenities to make it easy to take care of yourself the cottage felt comfortable and homey. Loved the hot tub overlooking the river and the super comfortable bed!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Couldn't have asked for a better location, right near the ocean. The amenities were great and the Mexican restaurant located just a short walk from the property was so convenient. The service is great and the food was authentic! We'll be back to both places for sure!

What a charming little place! Great view of the river, ocean and marina. Walking distance to the gift shop, resturantes and coffee places. There were deer in the yard in the evening and was very peaceful! It’s quite large for a 1 bedroom too!

If you like a peaceful setting in the forest, this is the place. Just minutes from the main drag you’re in the forest, very easy to find, great instructions from host.

This home is fabulous. There are views of the ocean everywhere! There was only one bedroom, and it was upstairs, so I was a little scared they would be “granny killers.” But the stairs weren’t so bad. Especially after you got upstairs and saw the ocean view from the window walls! I would stay here a million times over. I felt very cozy and peaceful.

Beautiful home. Very very clean. The description & photos of the property matched exactly. Very lovely looking kitchen & hard wood floors. The scenic view of the ocean is breathtaking. Sitting out on the deck at night is a must.

Our stay in Gold Beach was amazing! Laurie's place was perfect for our needs. Right in the middle of town, close to everything, beaches, shopping, exploring, and a great park down the street. The house had all of the essentials that we needed and the bed was comfy! Big plus! Thank you, Laurie, for sharing your space with us!

Great little RV resort. Very dog friendly and a quick easy walk to the beach! The cabin we had was clean and in good shape. The loft was perfect for little kids (less good for adults chasing the little kids around). Only complaint was no real dining table, just bar seating and a TV tray / stand for the couch, which makes sense with limited space, but it would have been nice to have even an outdoor option for us to all eat at the same time. The decking around the cabin was nice, though, (and I’m sure the hot tub was great we just didn’t get a chance to try it out). Oh also it would have been nice to know if the check-in counter was going to be open later than 5pm. The instructions were not clear, and we rushed to get there in time and barely made it, but it appeared they were in fact there later. Totally understand that staffing issues are hard these days, just would have been nice to know we weren’t going to make a 3 hour drive and be unable to get in. Overall, a really good experience!

Great location and nice place to stay with group of 10 people. The hot water in bathrooms is kind of serially available to all bathrooms so if at a time two bathrooms are in use, the hot water was not available to both or only one bathrooms. Other than hot water, we had blast and i would recommend this place to anyone or i would love to come back and stay here again.

We had a spur of the moment decision to spend thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful location, mind you it’s an rv park with mini houses. It is right on the Rouge River and steps away from the coast line we stayed in #36 and it was perfect you could see the beach from the tiny house. The kitchen supplies are rudimentary but enough to make a meal. It was a bit cold but other than that it was a great little place to stay! The surrounding sites are amazing, Myrtle Wood Trail is a must, Oregon Redwoods is a must! The surrounding towns are great too! The grocery shopping in Gold Beach was great. We loved it. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you!!!!

This place was perfect for our small family. It was in a very convenient location between crescent city and brookins. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept better here than I have in months. The location is also ideal—close to the beach and the redwoods, but still quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Matt was a responsive and welcoming host, and it’s clear he takes pride in creating a great experience for guests. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, and this one easily ranks among the best.
