Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Goderich

The A Frame getaway Nordic Spa really delivered. It’s a cozy interior and a beautiful spa oasis outside. Everything was decorated with purpose and the space felt very relaxing. We spent a few hours cycling through hot and cold in the sauna/hottub and cold tub. The only downside to the space is the small semi updated single bathroom. Wasn’t a huge concern for us, but I don’t remember any pictures of it and it’s certainly not the focal point of the space or why you should stay here. Overall, the space provided an amazing opportunity to relax, unwind, and refresh. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

We had a lovely time! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Katherine had put a lot of thought and care into every detail. The little extras made all the difference. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Ahmed was friendly and responded quick! The stay was great and is perfect location for a grand bend trip as you can walk anywhere you need to go! There was no confusion or lack of communication which made it easy to stay organized despite having such a large group. Recommend this stay !!

Nancy’s place was balm for my soul. We were there for my brother’s funeral and the beautiful, peaceful surroundings were very soothing. The pictures of the inside of the cottage do not capture its charm and coziness. The property is stunning. There are lots of toys and games in the cottage. We were sorry we did not have better weather to enjoy the beautiful covered porch and outdoor firepit. We were thrilled with the turtles, beavers and blue heron. Nancy and Don were warm and welcoming and took the time to orient us to their home and area. Lovely couple. This was one of our very best Air BnB experiences and we will definitely return.

We just returned from a stay at the Log Cabin in the heart of downtown Elora and it was wonderful! The cabin is so cute and tastefully decorated and the location is unbeatable! It was an easy walk to all shops and restaurants. The view from the room is lovely, looking out at the neighbouring properties beautifully groomed gardens. There is also a bonus space with the covered front porch, which was so nice to sit and relax on after a busy day of walking and shopping. The cottage is tucked in off the street, so it's nice and quiet but you can still have a nice view of the shops downtown from the porch. Andrew was very quick to respond to all communications and it was very easy to park and enter his spotlessly clean property. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to visit again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My favorite part of the day was sitting in the bench swing, watching the sunrise, in the company of many, many birds. There were thoughtful touches throughout the house, including binoculars, good books to read, and even a yoga mat. Helena is a very gracious, responsive host, genuinely interested in providing a high-end experience for those who come to stay.

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

What an absolutely gorgeous place with not even the smallest details overlooked. Cathy was friendly, kind and extremely easy to deal with. Everything was exactly as described but even more beautiful in person. We were so impressed! My Mom and I enjoyed the cozy living room after cooking a meal in the perfectly appointed kitchen. We enjoyed Netflix on the large TV and a great soak in the comfortable hot tub. The property was absolutely mesmerizing and we spent at least an hour walking about, admiring the countless decorations. The bed was luxurious and everything was clean and in great condition. Cathy also made time for us personally, showing us around the entire property when we asked to see it. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, Cathy! We cannot wait to come back.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

We loved Sarah’s place. Super quiet location, yet close to all the fun stuff (national parks, etc). The host was super responsive, and very helpful and kind. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great sleep. Highly recommend this to friends who want to visit the parks and couples.

We are highly recommended this place . Such a beautiful apartment with waterfront view. We really like how everything was set up in the house. Kitchen area has everything you need. The weather wasn’t perfect but we still have great time . Apartment is located in a walking distance from everything you need. Local restaurants, waterfront, trail, ets. We are really happy and thankful for this place.

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

Brigitte and Roger were very friendly and courteous, the place is comfortable to stay in and in a good location to nearby grocery stores and restaurants

Edward’s place is exactly as described in the listing. Clean, luxurious, and modern design. He responds in a timely professional manner and is accommodating. He checks up on you to make sure to follow the rules since it is a calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Great place to stay for our first ski trip to blue mountain.1

Really great modern but feels like a home still really clean and comfortable

We had a great time at Harpreet’s villa on lake Eerie. The view of the lake with naturalized area in between was heavenly and peaceful. Lots of different bird species make you feel like you are truly away from the city. The kids stayed thoroughly entertained in the games room while the adults enjoyed the comfortable living quarters. The kitchen was clean and functional and the bbq was spotless! Overall a great getaway.

My family and I had a great stay at Betsy's. There was lots of space for everyone to sleep, play and hang out. The pool and backyard was fantastic for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed for dishes, pots, pans, knives etc. The location was great. A nice park across the street and we were able to walk downtown. We would definitely stay at Betsy's place again.

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

Beautiful house with tons of space. Clean and comfortable for 8 guys to stay for work and the backyard is awesome to relax in at the end of the day.
