Bungalow holiday rentals in Goat Island

This place is wonderful for a family gathering! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. This was our yearly family gathering and we like to cook all of our meals. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cookware, dishes, glassware, etc. that you would need. Each bedroom was well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, and washcloths for every guest. The bathrooms were super clean. The living room has an awesome sectional couch that is roomy enough for several adults and was a great place for napping and reading. We loved hanging out in the screened in areas upstairs and downstairs. The outside shower was fantastic! You will not need to bring anything for your beach trip as their downstairs closet was supplied with everything you would need for a day at the beach. The location is perfect, within walking distance to anything you may want to do. We would definitely recommend this for anyone!

This was exactly what my family needed for our trip to be perfect. The house was far enough from center street to be quiet and peaceful, but so close to the beach so that the kids could easily walk. The back deck was a great afternoon reading spot and the hot tub was the perfect way to end an evening after getting the little ones to bed. My husband even made use of the surf boards (or at least tried to!). We will definitely look to book this stay for our yearly trip in 2026!

We had a wonderful stay at the Smile House with our 2 dogs! The space was welcoming and has a wonderful location - we were able to walk to everything, including the beach, within minutes. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take a trip to Folly Beach!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. Close to Charleston and the beach but far enough away to be private and relaxing. House was clean with a great layout. Enjoyed the dock and the screened in porch. Will be the go to location when visiting the area.

Surf Song Cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and has an incredible location steps from the beach. The homes large windows and deck allowed for amazing views. The kitchen contained everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and the master bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The house rules did not bother us a bit...we played music at a reasonable level and had no problems. After seeing a protected turtle nest on the beach right in front of the cottage which was very exciting, we understood why bright lights and loud music rules are necessary. Thank you Steve and Sarah for great communications and sharing your beautiful cottage.

The Bungalow was such a cozy stay! Bedding was very comfortable, amenities all functioning. Short driving distance to the downtown area as well. I would for sure stay again, and I hope to visit the area again sooner than later.

Stayed in this Airbnb for a girls trip and it was perfect! Rooms were all nice and it had everything we needed. Cheap to Uber into Charleston and other beaches, plus lots of restaurants/bars to walk to in the area. (Loved High Falutin coffee roasters for bfast and coffee!). Would recommend this place!

We had a great time. The house was clean , very cute, nice backyard . Beds were great. It was a little further from King Street than we expected, but was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this home.

Our stay was like a home away from home…our host John is the best host we’ve had yet!! Quick reply’s very friendly and helpful…the home was equipped with everything you need with the sweetest final Touches …the pool and hottub were soo relaxing …such a peaceful setting inside and out i would recommend this home over and over and any home hosted by John…thankyou for everything John!!

This is the perfect spot if you love Park Circle! It’s only a couple of miles away and such a treat. The bed is extremely comfortable and plenty of space if you are working.

We had a wonderful stay at J.R.’s place. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, as well as numerous restaurants and bars. Being close to Bert’s Market was especially convenient for picking up beachside lunches and any essentials we needed throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, detailed, and easy to follow. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

Our family of 6 adults loved our stay at Sworda-Salty. The house design of two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, each with their own sitting area and kitchen, was perfect for our crew. The huge back yard was beautiful and safely fenced for our dog. The deck spaces were plentiful. We grilled and played games on the back deck. We sat in the screened in porch and ate dinner on the front deck. The walk to the beach is extremely short and easy. Staying at Sworda-Salty was comfortable, easy, and relaxing. We had the perfect low- key beach vacation. Thank you Jeff and Beth!

We loved our stay at Robert’s place! Absolutely fantastic location, very comfortable and clean, cozy and loved the decor, walkable to many Mount Pleasant attractions. We hope to stay here again for our next visit to Charleston!
