Welcome to our beautiful house at Gnesta, Sweden

The house is surrounded by beautiful forest and garden which gives access to lovely forest walks where you can pick blueberries in the summer and mushrooms in the autumn. It is an indescribable feeling to wake up early in the morning, have a cup of coffee, sit on the balcony and watch nature wake up. Breathe fresh air that is still a little humid after the night, listen to birds, and enjoy nature. In the living room there is a fireplace for heating during chilly autumn and spring.

Only one hour’s drive by car from Stockholm (35 min from Stockholm Skavsta Airport) you find this calm and relaxing place where peace of nature is easy to find. Perched on a small hillside where the wind rarely blows this house offers a serene getaway. Go for a swim at the lake just a few hundred meters away or just relax on the spacious deck. The place is equally beautiful in winter when you can curl up with a book by the fire or connect with nature from the veranda.

Cozy cottage from 18yh century

Two small rooms with kitchenette in the hall. Bathroom. Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the price, the guest bring their own and clean the cottage before leaving, unless other agreement is made with the host. The cottage is heated. At arrival a fire have been lit, but for a continous cozy burning fire the guest bring their own firewood. Bags can be found at the local petrol station. Washing machine in separate building.

The tranquility of the forest

The place is very close to nature. The wild animals, access to the forest and the tranquility are fantastic. At the same time, it is only 5 minutes, so you are on the highway to Stockholm (1 hour.), Trosa (20min) or Nyköping with Skavsta airport (30min). The chance to see wildlife here is almost 100%, mostly deer. If you want to be sure to see moose, wild boar etc. we can recommend a wildlife park in Öster malma, just 20 min from here.

Bright apartment on a rural farm

Stay among the fields in this bright apartment on a rural farm. In a converted barn is located this open apartment with large windows and views of a horse garden. On the entry level there is a kitchenette and bathroom. We are a family with two children who live on the farm. We have a dog and a cat (they walk freely on the plot ). We have no other animals but next to our property is a horse farm.
