Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gmund am Tegernsee

Even the greeting by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying with friends.

Accommodation was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The facility was great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We were on the road a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

Mikail is a great host - helpful, very nice and proactive! The house is furnished as shown in the photos, lovingly and also very clean! We are a team of 10 people and one Toddler was there, the size was more than enough for us! I can only recommend the accommodation when visiting Garmisch :)

We spent our "honey moon" in the beautiful holiday home with Sabine. Sabine welcomed us so warmly and provided us with great information. The holiday home is beautiful and furnished with a lot of love. The location is outstanding. Directly on the Alpbach and only a few minutes' walk from Lake Tegernsee. Shopping is right across the street. Dear Sabine, we thank you for our unforgettable holiday 🤩

Simon's house exceeded our expectations. It was not only very lovingly and high-quality furnished, but also sparkling clean. We immediately felt at home. Communication with Simon was quick and smooth. He was always there when we had questions and kindly provided us with a shelter for our car when heavy hail was forecast. The area is very quiet, the house has a really good and inviting energy due to the large amount of wood. From Großweil, you can easily reach all the beautiful lakes or hiking trails. There is also a small supermarket in the village and in Murnau there are also larger markets, if you need more. We longed for rest and quiet this week and got just that. Her place was great and it accommodated 5 Adults and 3 children very well! We were extremely pleased!

What a beautiful home in a stunning location. The home has 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a large living/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There is a cellar downstairs with washing machine. There is a separate outdoor eating area with BBQ. The garden overlooks the lake and the house has beautiful views. There are some lovely walking trails at the back of the house which are worth exploring. The home was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A real home from home. The location is fantastic, close to the lake and within walking distance of the Seehaus restaurant on the lake and local shops and amenities. Communication with Alison and Robert was good throughout and they were able to give us some information about local events. A lovely stay and if we come back to the area we would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

We had a great holiday here! You feel immediately arrived and nothing is missing, everything is very clean and prepared with a lot of love, it doesn't get any better! The highlight is of course the large heated pool. The town of Rott was also the perfect starting point for many excursions in the area and you can find everything you need there as well as many beautiful restaurants. This stay exceeded our expectations! The photos did not do justice to the homey, quaint stay that Gisela Maria provided. We felt at home the moment we arrived. Not only was the interior beautiful the exterior gardens on the property were also lovely. The home was very clean, the check-in was easy, and the host was friendly & responsive!

Great place to stay in a quiet location. We enjoyed the morning view of the lake and the tranquility very much. The accommodation was cozy, clean and the terrace a great place to relax. Only the WLAN connection was partially a bit "fragile", but we were on vacation and everything else was convincing! Thanks a lot!

We had a great time! Even without a car, you can get everywhere easily :) Ivonne even thought of my girlfriend's birthday and gave us champagne and chocolate! Everything great :)

This was a feel-good vacation at its best: an extremely accommodating host, a beautiful quiet place where you immediately felt at home, very tasteful, large bedroom with balcony and a great environment for all who like hiking, cycling, golfing or just want to enjoy the nearby lake. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is beautiful and furnished with great attention to detail. The amenities were excellent and there was nothing missing. A wonderful view over the Walchensee from the terrace leads directly to relaxation. The host always responded quickly and was extremely friendly in communication. We particularly liked the personalized welcome board.

I was here a few days with my 1.5 year old daughter. Susanna provided extra children's dishes, a children's towel and a toy box with Lego Duplo - great! I felt very welcome. What was also remarkable was that despite the attic, it was pleasantly cool (in June). You can completely darken the apartment - also important with a child. Otherwise, everything was clean, spacious and everything you need was there. You have a great view from the balcony into the mountains and you can get there very quickly. We will be happy to come back.

Renate‘s place is a true gem! it’s a beautiful space and one can feel the love and care put in to make this a home. the are is beautiful - close enough to munich for an easy trip with train or bike, and far enough to be peaceful. Renate was a fabulously friendly and accommodating host, who made us feel part of the community!

We had a very nice stay at Sabine's place and would be happy to come back. Sabine is a very warm person and was available for questions. The place is cozy, clean and especially the kitchen is super equipped. We felt very comfortable.

A truly excellent find. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable with amazing views and sunsets it is easy to understand why our hosts feel privileged to live there. Indeed our hosts were remarkably generous, kind and helpful and gave us great ideas on what to do. If we are lucky enough to return to the area we know where we would like to stay. We had a very good stay, the environment is very peaceful, great if you want to spend a quiet stay near nature and visit Munich. Please note, there is a 20-minute walk between the accommodation and the train station, the only downside :-)

The birdsong wakes you up in the morning and you drink your first coffee on the balcony overlooking the greenery while the water splashes in the pond. We had a wonderful stay in Johanna's green oasis. The apartment is chicly furnished with great colors and tasteful decoration. The kitchen is also very well equipped - sharp knives and well-preserved utensils. Work functions with the existing Wi-Fi most of the time. Munich is less than 30 minutes away by car.

The apartment was great, visually and the amenities were very good. The location to Lake Starnberg was also very suitable for us.

The apartment is well located for both hiking in the surrounding area and access into Innsbruck. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The private outdoor terrace had tremendous views and was south facing yet still secluded. Small, well appointed supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Overall I would highly recommend.
