This place was prefect for the need of our large number of Whanau. Very clean and comfy whare.

Wonderful place, such a great location. Great front deck with the best view around, and a great quiet back deck area shielded from the weather. 5/5 would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at George's place! While it is an old bach that is showing it's age in some places, it is comfortable and cozy with everything we could possibly have needed including a thoughtful array of snacks. And then there is the view which is UTTERLY STUNNING! Perched on the dunes overlooking the beach, the deck was a great place to watch the sunrise and then take a walk on the beautiful sand beach, play in the waves, watch the surfers...My one concern is the path from the bach deck to the beach which is pretty treacherous (a bit steep but I found that part fine). Path is overgrown with a haphazard array of possibly some previous steps made of concrete stones, wood, old tires (I think). Where the dirt and sand are exposed, it was pretty slippery after a rain. We gathered some "walking sticks" from the beach to use going up and down which helped. Still, this was not enough of an issue to deter our delight.

Fantastic place. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our family and our dog. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. Very close to the beach, quiet area and a large fenced block. Squeaky clean accommodation with everything you need.

We loved our stay at Bill's place, the highlight stay of our tour. The place is spacious, beautifully appointed and with such a stunning view of the sea, just across the road. Would love to stay there again if we ever get back that way.

We had booked this cosy cottage for a week over Easter. Unfortunately we came up to go fishing and due to weather we shortened our stay. Location was perfect and the cottage had all the amenities. We will definitely be back Jan- thanks for everything- we will come back up when the weather warms up.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay, the house was fantastic and had everything we needed. The location is reasonably private but still a close run to the shop if needed. Close to beautiful swimming beaches and easy access for fishing/diving off the rocky inlet below. We appreciated the use of the kayak. Would definitely recommend this house for an amazing get-away, thanks!

The location was perfect—stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere made it a great spot to unwind. The host, Danielle, was fantastic—clear communication and everything we needed was provided. The only downside for us was the water bed, which wasn’t quite comfortable for our family, so we ended up using just two of the bedrooms and adjusted with the kids. Thanks for hosting us, Danielle! We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Camron was a great host and house location is 10/10. Overall all was good, suggest to come earlier or ask host to warm up the house (takes time to make it comfy).

Wainui beach is a fantastic location with surfer like atmosphere. The house was elevated from the sand but 10 stairs away. House has very high ceilings making it seem huge! The living areas face the beach. We had 3 couples staying and it was perfect.

Such a fabulous stay - thanks! We were so surprised to discover the Christmas tree and decorations which made it feel like our home while we stated. The fish was delicious and the spaces generously soaked up our large family. I think the photos undersell what a beautiful space it is.

Stunning location right on the beach front, surf break out front, an absolute paradise. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing spot, with multiple indoor and outdoor areas to relax, a spa overlooking the ocean, we had a great stay thank you! The property manager Kaz was very responsive. Spa was awesome but needed some TLC. Multiple security camera's felt slightly invasive.

We are a family of five adults and two children, we’ve been traveling around NZ and after many homes this one was everyone’s favorite! Beautiful home, picture perfect surroundings and views, friendly host. Would definitely recommend!
