Holiday rentals with beach access in Gisborne District

Stunning location. Stepping out onto the beach was absolutely divine Geraldine was a lovely host, responsive and helpful. Very cute location. I would love to go back. Very doable to get to Gisborne especially if you hire a car.

Great place for a couple of nights. Comfy bed. Right next to wharf, the beach, and riverbank walkway. Walked to Farmers Market on Saturday morning. As mentioned in the comments, there seems to be a bit of angst about AirBnB and the parking situation - a resident we met when we arrived told us: "AirBnB guests can't park onsite." (we didn't park onsite, nor did we even ask anyone).

Amazing waterfront property with easy boardwalk or beach walk straight out the front door.

Beautiful stay, the place & view is absolutely stunning We throughly enjoyed our time spent there and have recommended it to everyone The basket of children’s toys under the tv was a hit with our grandson, just that little touch of home made it so special for him Stepping out & across the road to do a spot of fishing was amazing for my husband Then eating oysters off the rocks & swimming & snorkeling and watching our grandson building sand castles in the creamy white sand was special A place where beautiful memories are made Thank you Meagan for sharing your beautiful little bit of paradise with us

We highly recommend Lou's place, it's airy and light, the bed is super comfortable, it has enough space so you aren't falling over your stuff, and it is just a lovely place to hang out. Lou is a lovely host. We'd definitely choose it again.

Wainui beach is a fantastic location with surfer like atmosphere. The house was elevated from the sand but 10 stairs away. House has very high ceilings making it seem huge! The living areas face the beach. We had 3 couples staying and it was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay - easy to access, lovely and private and beautiful beds, furniture and amenities. Everything is thought through and exactly where you need it. The weather shifted during our week and the pods were super warm and cosy. Great family home for the week.

Thank you so much for having us Kauri! We had an awesome stay at the Karstaway. Home was equipped with everything we needed and the outdoor amenities were a real hit! A primo spot along NZ's beautiful Highway 35; we had lots of fun at Oruaiti beach just across the road, explored Lottin Point, got out for a dive with the boat ramp conveniently close by and enjoyed our catch with ocean sunset views. We hope to visit again soon. Ngā mihi nui!!

Such a gem of a place! It’s a bit of a drive from major towns but, trust me, the trip is well worth it. Christine will make you feel right at home and you will get to see a once in a lifetime sunrise. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at Aisling’s home! The house was perfectly situated, just a stone’s throw from the beach and only a short 6-8 minute drive to Opotiki township. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The doors and windows leading out to the deck were a highlight, allowing the fresh air to flow through the home. The deck itself was perfect for relaxing, whether it was sipping morning coffee or enjoying dinner with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was an ample supply of bedding, which added an extra layer of comfort. The entire home exceeded my expectations, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend Aisling’s home – it’s a true gem!

Camron was a great host and house location is 10/10. Overall all was good, suggest to come earlier or ask host to warm up the house (takes time to make it comfy).
