Chris was an incredibly gracious host. We connected after our family had a really rough time with another host. He went out of his way to ensure our family of 6 felt comfortable and welcome. I deal with a consistent amount of intensity in my career, and Chris' place gave us the escape and serenity that our family needed. He was always responsive and available when we had questions, yet very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this vacation home due to equal parts the accommodations themselves, but also the level of service that Chris adds to it all. I would absolutely stay again! We had such a lovely stay at Bob’s cabin in Victoria Beach. It was cozy, homey, and full of thoughtful touches that made our weekend out of the city extra comfortable. The three main reasons we booked this spot were that it was dog-friendly (so we didn’t have to arrange a sitter!), it had a hot tub, and it looked like a peaceful place to relax—and it delivered on all counts and more. The cabin had everything we needed and then some: dog leashes at both entrances, Lego to keep our one-year-old entertained, and a beautiful screened-in porch that became our go-to spot to hang out. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and we especially loved being just a short walk from the beach with its soft, powdery sand. Even the little touches—like flowers on the deck—made it feel extra welcoming. Everything matched the listing exactly, and Bob was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be back!

The home as absolutely amazing! Incredibly clean, easy to find with clear instructions on how to get in. We were in awe at how much was provided. If you had forgotten anything there was a good chance it was available! Overall it was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend.

Little retreat reminds us of the importance of a place like this. To reappreciate what the wild has to share, not only the physical gifts, but the power to recharge the mind and ground the soul. Lovely spot to be integtated once again with the environment from which we all came!

This is a nice little cabin close to lake Winnipeg, great place to stay if you're planning on fishing lake Winnipeg.

Marc has a rustic cottage close to the Lake in a beautiful wooded area. I grew up in Winnipeg but moved out east 25 years ago. The cottage was right out of my childhood. We loved the screened in area in the back of the cottage and ate all our meals out there. We enjoyed fires in the evening and all the space to play outdoor games. It was great having a long sandy beach near by. Marc had so many things for the kids to do: Lego, games, puzzles and videos. The kids had a great time.

Very good stay, right by the beach and for a good price. Enjoyed the responsive host, the beach is so close; it had that water breeze. We liked the amenities and that they had a good amount of toiletries for the stay. The host is very friendly as well. Would book here again.

The cottage was cozy, clean, and equipped with an incredible sound system. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy quality time with friends. Highly recommend!
