We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

Catherine's place was great. it had all the amenities listed. It had very quiet and beautiful surroundings. the area is really lovely with the golf club . Plenty of morning or evening walking options too. The house itself was very clean. Would definitely recommend thos place.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i dette sommerhus! Poolen og alle de øvrige faciliteter – inkl. sauna, udeområder og køkken – var af virkelig høj kvalitet, og det hele fungerede upåklageligt. Stemningen og rammerne var perfekte til en hyggelig og afslappet ferie med venner. Det eneste lille minus var, at man selv skulle medbringe gas til grillen, hvilket kom som en overraskelse for os alle. Det ville være rart, hvis det blev nævnt tydeligere i beskrivelsen. Alt i alt en skøn oplevelse – vi kommer gerne igen!

Wir blicken auf einen wundervollen Dänemarkurlaub zurück. Christiane ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die uns persönlich empfangen hat und bei einem Rundgang alles gezeigt und erklärt hat. Wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt und konnten unsere Auszeit vom Alltag in dem gemütlichen Häuschen und auf der herrlichen Sonnenterrasse in vollen Zügen genießen und zur Erfrischung ein paar Bahnen in dem wirklich großen Pool schwimmen. Es war alles sauber und mit viel Stil und Liebe zum Detail im Vintagestil eingerichtet und dekoriert. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, wir haben himmlisch geschlafen. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts und man kann sich sehr gut selbst verpflegen. Wer Ruhe, Nähe zur Natur und Privatsphäre sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Meer ist gleich um die Ecke und es gibt wirklich viele tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in naher Umgebung. Es wird nicht langweilig, gibt immer wieder etwas zu entdecken und wir kommen sehr, sehr gern wieder...

Wir (Paar mit 8jähriger Tochter) verbrachten in dem wunderschönen Sommerhaus eine tolle Woche. Das Haus war eigentlich noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos, sehr stilvoll mit Designermöbeln und hochwertiger Kunst an den Wänden, liebevoll ausgestattet und in absoluter Toplage zur wunderschönen Steilküste (mit abenteuerlicher Privattreppe), wo man den malerischen Sonnenuntergang genießen, aber auch toll baden kann. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht. Der Pool war das absolute Highlight! Er ist zwar nicht beheizt, aber die Sonne erledigt das wunderbar. Auch der riesige Garten und die ruhige Umgebung waren sehr überzeugend. Die Gegend lädt zu zahlreichen Unternehmungen ein, allerdings sollte man auf jeden Fall mobil sein, denn die hiesigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind am besten mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto zu erreichen. Janus ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Gastgeber, die Kommunikation mit ihm war immer unkompliziert und prompt. Herzlichen Dank für alles

Wir hatten zwar einen kurzen aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Kaj Ole und Yvonne. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und nur eine knappe Stunde von Kopenhagen entfernt. Beim nächsten Mal in Dänemark kommen wir gerne wieder. Ein großes Lob besonders an Marie. Liebe Grüße von uns. 🤗

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold i Ann’s sommerhus, som levede fuldt op til forventningerne. Det var et rigtig fint og rent hus med massere af aktiviteter i området. Vi vil helt sikkert anbefale det til andre

We are a family of 4, with two young kids. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone , clean, convenient and well appointed. Our host Christine could not have been nicer! She stocked the pantry with food and drinks and wine and special items for the kids. The house has incredible breathtaking views and is ideally located to charming walks into town - whether it’s flowered covered paths, beach, meadows or forest - the surroundings are lovely. We appreciated Christine’s friendly replies and suggestions. Any questions we had were answered right away. The arrival and departure were smooth and easy. We would love to stay there again. I cannot recommend this enough!

Ein liebevoll, freundlich eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, wo wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der wunderschöne Garten in einer ruhigen Umgebung ist perfekt zum Abschalten. Super, dass wir uns die Fahrräder ausleihen konnten - so waren wir schnell am Strand, beim Supermarkt und im kleinen Städtchen. Wirklich sehr gut zum Erholen geeignet!! Vielen Dank - vielleicht kommen wir ja wieder einmal :-)

Nous avons passé un long séjour (30 jours) chez Nanna et nous avons beaucoup apprécié sa jolie maison d'été. L'endroit est très calme et privatif avec un très beau jardin fleuri, un espace pour garer la voiture. La maison était très bien équipée. La communication avec Nanna était excellente. Nous recommandons sans réserve cette maison de vacances et avec un petit plus pour les gens qui comme nous aimons découvrir des lieux à vélo.

Mysigt boende som stämde väl överens med beskrivningen! Bra läge och Marie var väldigt hjälpsam som värd.

This picturesque cottage is a rare beauty in a lovely seaside town. We experienced the full spectrum of Danish weather during our weeklong stay, and this home was perfect for it all. On rainy days we enjoyed hygge with the wood-burning stove and candles. The clear days were spent enjoying the sun in the gorgeous and well-maintained yard. The town is charming with great bars, restaurants, and beaches. This home is tucked away, yet nearby everything. We walked into town for fresh pastries and coffee almost daily. Malou was a gracious and communicative host. We would love the opportunity to stay here again and again.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Dänemark! Das Haus ist ein Traum und die Lage ist so unglaublich schön und ruhig, genau das was wir gesucht haben. Man war ganz für sich und konnte abschalten. Unsere Tochter war hin und weg vom Spielehaus und dem Garten, sowie dem Kinderzimmer mit vielen Spielen und Lego. Die Einrichtung ist so gemütlich, dass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Die Küche war super schön und komplett ausgestattet. So gut wie alles war da. Anna war jederzeit hilfsbereit und hatte Tipps für die Umgebung. Alles in allem war es der perfekte Ort für den ersten Urlaub in Dänemark und wir werden wieder kommen, dann aber mal im Sommer :)

Een prachtig huisje met mooie ruime tuin. Het is rustig gelegen en met toch een supermarkt en het strand op loopafstand. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuk detail was het dagelijkse bezoek van een eekhoorntje in de tuin. Het contact met de eigenaar is laagdrempelig en verloopt prettig. Ze heeft leuke tips voor de omgeving. De faciliteiten van het huis zijn helemaal prima. Jammer van de niet-werkende vaatwasser echter dat was het enige minpuntje op de lijst vol met pluspunten. De barbecues zijn ook zeker aan te raden om bij mooi weer te gebruiken.

Trevlig och mysig stuga med promenadavstånd till Gilleleje centrum. Vi var väldigt nöjda.

what a wonderful place! everything in this house and garden breaths hospitality and refinement. the host kindly invited us to use basics in the kitchen. that was an understatement, because there was even home made jam in the fridge! it has been a great pleasure to walk to the seaside, reside in the lovely garden and everything was just perfectly arranged for us. rinke and family

Beautiful countryside house, exactly like the pictures. The beds were super comfortable. It felt very easy and relaxing to stay there, we specially enjoyed the barbecue. You can walk to the beach every morning or walk to the Supermarket anytime you need. Otherwise to visit the area we recommend to have a car (streetfood festival at Hornbaek, Tisvilde strandkiosken burgers and lovely shops in the city main street, Gilleleje Port with restaurants and super ice cream shops..). We had a perfect time with our friends and small kids.

Perfekt , hvis du leder efter et roligt miljø og en hyggelig atmosfære. Jeg kan kun anbefale dette hus.
