House holiday rentals in Gilleleje

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We had a great stay as a family and enjoyed our time a lot in the holiday home. It is spacious, indoor and outdoor, and has a great location. Besides, the atmosphere in the house makes it cosy and warm and the outdoor pool is wonderful! We would for sure consider to come back one day.

To be honest, the photos and description didn’t do the house justice - it was larger than expected. We really enjoyed the pool and outside terrace when the weather allowed it. Jennifer was very responsive to all our needs & questions! Top notch place - would strongly recommend.

I very much enjoyed my time at the house! The hosts are very friendly, respond quickly and willing to help with any questions you might have. The house itself has everything you need, is clean and nicely decorated. Overall i highly recommend this place.

We are looking back on a wonderful Denmark vacation. Christiane is a great host who welcomed us in person and showed and explained everything on a tour. We felt right at home and were able to enjoy our break from everyday life in the cozy cottage and on the magnificent sun terrace in full and swim a few laps in the really large pool for refreshment. Everything was clean and furnished and decorated in a vintage style with a lot of style and attention to detail. Beds are very comfortable, we slept heavenly. There is nothing missing in the kitchen and you can take care of yourself very well. If you are looking for peace and quiet, proximity to nature and privacy, this is the place to be. The sea is just around the corner and there are really many great excursions and attractions in the vicinity. It will not be boring, there is always something to discover and we will be happy to come back...

We had a wonderful time in Denmark! The house is a dream and the location is so incredibly beautiful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. You were completely on your own and you could unplug. Our daughter was there and away from the games house and the garden, as well as the children's room with lots of games and Lego. The decor is so cozy that we immediately felt comfortable. The kitchen was super nice and fully equipped. Almost everything was there. Anna was always helpful and had tips for the area. All in all it was the perfect place for the first holiday in Denmark and we will come back, but then in summer :)

We had a short but very nice stay at Kaj Ole and Yvonne's house. The area is very nice and just an hour away from Copenhagen. We will be happy to come back next time in Denmark. High praise, especially to Marie. Best regards from us. 🤗

what a wonderful place! everything in this house and garden breaths hospitality and refinement. the host kindly invited us to use basics in the kitchen. that was an understatement, because there was even home made jam in the fridge! it has been a great pleasure to walk to the seaside, reside in the lovely garden and everything was just perfectly arranged for us. rinke and family

We are a family of 4, with two young kids. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone , clean, convenient and well appointed. Our host Christine could not have been nicer! She stocked the pantry with food and drinks and wine and special items for the kids. The house has incredible breathtaking views and is ideally located to charming walks into town - whether it’s flowered covered paths, beach, meadows or forest - the surroundings are lovely. We appreciated Christine’s friendly replies and suggestions. Any questions we had were answered right away. The arrival and departure were smooth and easy. We would love to stay there again. I cannot recommend this enough!

A lovingly, friendly furnished vacation home where we felt very comfortable. The beautiful garden in a quiet environment is perfect for switching off. Great that we could borrow the bikes - so we were quickly at the beach, at the supermarket and in the small town. Really very suitable for relaxing!! Thanks a lot - maybe we'll come back again :-)

We had a long stay (30 days) at Nanna's and we really enjoyed her lovely summer house. The place is very quiet and private with a very beautiful flower garden, a space to park the car. The house was very well equipped. Communication with Nanna was excellent. We highly recommend this vacation home and with a little extra for people who like us to discover places by bike.

Such a wonderful summer house for a small family.

This picturesque cottage is a rare beauty in a lovely seaside town. We experienced the full spectrum of Danish weather during our weeklong stay, and this home was perfect for it all. On rainy days we enjoyed hygge with the wood-burning stove and candles. The clear days were spent enjoying the sun in the gorgeous and well-maintained yard. The town is charming with great bars, restaurants, and beaches. This home is tucked away, yet nearby everything. We walked into town for fresh pastries and coffee almost daily. Malou was a gracious and communicative host. We would love the opportunity to stay here again and again.

The space is lovingly furnished. A beautiful little house with everything you need. The location is perfect, quiet, yet close to the sea. The bed is very good! We felt very comfortable and had a great holiday!

A beautiful little house with a beautiful spacious garden. It is quietly located and yet with a supermarket and the beach within walking distance. The cottage is packed with amenities. Nice detail was the daily visit of a squirrel in the garden. Contact with the owner is approachable and is pleasant. She has great tips for the surroundings. The facilities of the house are completely fine. Too bad about the non-working dishwasher, however, that was the only downside on the list full of pluses. The barbecues are also definitely recommended to use in good weather.

Beautiful countryside house, exactly like the pictures. The beds were super comfortable. It felt very easy and relaxing to stay there, we specially enjoyed the barbecue. You can walk to the beach every morning or walk to the Supermarket anytime you need. Otherwise to visit the area we recommend to have a car (streetfood festival at Hornbaek, Tisvilde strandkiosken burgers and lovely shops in the city main street, Gilleleje Port with restaurants and super ice cream shops..). We had a perfect time with our friends and small kids.

Perfect if you are looking for a quiet environment and a cozy atmosphere. I can only recommend this house.

Had such a wonderful time there with my family, a very cosy house and a lovely garden… we especially loved the record player! Mille was very quick and helpful to respond to any queries, can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday! :)
