This ground floor studio is located in a converted warehouse within the city walls. It was converted in 2018 so the interior is in great order and the exterior looks onto water views. With a 5 minute walk to the main historic area/main shopping area and a 2 minute walk to major supermarkets, the studio is well connected. Wifi included. Looks onto big family garden, feels like a country retreat but only 15 minutes' easy and beautiful river walk from city centre. Well behaved pets welcome. Should the annex be booked for your preferred dates, do look up our shepherds hut. Julie's place is lovely and the attic room (and ensuite) were perfect for my stay. It's a cosy, clean, homely space - it feels like your own little place in her home! The house is located perfectly for getting to the University and around town. Julie herself is friendly and helpful (always offering lifts in her car if she's heading towards where you're going) and always communicates well. It was exactly what I needed for my stay!

Sue is an amazing host and I felt right at home at her place. I was able to do a bit of unplanned online work, sleep in a very comfy bed, access everything I needed in the kitchen, easily walk into town and have delightful conversations chats with Sue. I couldn't ask for more! I was in town for a conference and it was telling that I had a *much* better experience than my colleagues who stayed in big-name hotels. Thanks, Sue!

I can really recommend staying with Naomi, especially if you’re a female solo traveller. Had a lovely stay. The flat is very nice, clean und cozy. Naomi is the perfect host. I had my space but she was always open for a nice chat. 5 ⭐️ Stay. The house is a 50 min walk away from town center or a 20 min bus ride.

A charming room in a great location! This stay was only a 20 minute walk to the old city walls and was right around the corner from the horse racing track. Both Daniel and Mij were very friendly and made my partner and I feel welcome in their home. Would certainly recommend staying here!
