House holiday rentals in Georgetown

This home and it's surroundings are absolutely beautiful! We had a family vacation and had a wonderful time! The pool was amazing and each room of the house was modern and elegant at the same time. Our grandchildren also loved watching the ducks in the little creek. We usually go to the ocean but were looking for something a little closer to home this year (3 hours away) and we were certainly not disappointed! We highly recommend it and will be back some day! My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

This was a great spot for a quick trip! We were visiting for UK's commencement ceremony and this location was close to downtown and very convenient. I would have preferred if I could control the AC/heat, but the weather was nice so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at the Bee’s Wing house. Our group of four felt right at home and enjoyed the location in Midway. The house was very comfortable and reflected a lot of charm. The extra amenities were especially welcome… things you don’t typically find in other homes we’ve rented. The hosts have responded when needed, although we didn’t have any requests for this trip. We would gladly stay again when in the area.

This house is fantastic. Comfortable beds, extremely clean, stocked kitchen utensils, and great instructions for everything in the house. This is a very nice neighborhood and we felt extremely safe. Close to restaurants and shopping. The house exceeded our expectations.

This barndominium was a perfect spot for our group's annual golf trip. The living areas were incredibly spacious, the covered outdoor patio was a great size for hanging in the rain or sunshine, and there were plenty of beds on which to rest our heads. The property was well described and met all of our expectations, and its seclusion in the Kentucky horse fields added a memorable ambiance to the weekend. It was also nice to have easy driving access to Midway, Lexington, and even Louisville for a nice day trip. We would highly recommend this place to anyone gathering with a large group of friends or family.

Nice stay. My wife and I stayed here for 3 days for a bicycling event around the beautiful countryside of the Bluegrass region. Perfect place for a long weekend. Easy to walk around the charming downtown from here. I have never taken a shower with better water pressure, no lie! Good communication, Jon checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Charming little place, no complaints. Much better than one of the hotels out by the highway. Recommended.

Stayed at glo hill during the Railbird Festival. This was such a nice cozy house. It really is too bad that you have to walk through the back bedroom area to get to the outside patio area though. Also would recommend having a small grill available for guests to use and a garbage can on patio . Josh was quickly responsive to me. I would highly recommend this place for a couple to rent for just some R&R.

Angie’s place is perfect for a Georgetown visit. We never heard a sound and the town is only a 10 minute walk or a tiny drive

We would like to give Lay Over House a huge heartfelt thank you . . . Five gal pals visiting Georgetown to ride the Horsey Hundred, we stumbled across this Airbnb listing when looking for a place to stay. From the time the reservations were made, all the way through check-out, we can't thank our Host enough. It was so wonderful to come "home" every night to a cozy house, with fluffy towels and comfy beds, and a relaxing backyard. The pictures and amenities were just as stated (and then some), and the bonus was a 2 car garage to house our gear and a driveway big enough to park 3 cars. Lay Over House was minutes from the event, close to great restaurants and a short drive into Lexington to squeeze in a distillery tour. And an added thank you to our Host for helping us plan a route to ride our bikes from the house to the park, and checking in periodically through-out our visit to make sure everything was perfect. Truly one of our best Airbnb experiences.

This was a beautiful house! We had a great stay! It had comfortable beds and pillows, and it was very clean, bright, neat, and tidy! Host was super nice and responded quickly to a question. It was also easy to get to UK campus and Lexington shopping! Thank you!

Anthony’s home is exactly as described. Light, bright and spotlessly clean, I will definitely book again when I am in the area. 10 mins to Kentucky Horse Park, this is the perfect home base if you are showing there. Anthony was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and thought of all of the touches to make this a great home base. Lots of matching dishes, cutlery stemware and high quality pans for cooking. Beds are comfy, there are lots of linens and a great living room couch to relax on.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything and convenient. House and amenities matched photos and description. Will stay again when in the area.

This was our first stop in a 4-stop trip and what a way to kick things off! The cottage was perfect for our family. It was clean and calm, had everything we needed, and really put us at ease. The farm was serene and peaceful. Our children absolutely adored the horses, and we're very happy to feed them carrots. If you are looking for a space to get away in beautiful Kentucky horse country, this is the perfect place to go. Everything else you might need is 10-15 minutes away. And it's only a few minutes from Evans Orchard & Cider Mill (lots for the kids to do, and great food too).

Home was nice and clean. I only used the queen bed, it was comfortable. Sheets were not made properly but that was an easy fix. Everything was as mentioned in description. Driveway was big enough to accommodate several cars if needed.

Unusual location, close to train tracks but did not hear them at night. Home was lovely, immaculately clean. Had everything you could possible need, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable Ben with soft linens, furniture comfortable. Big screen TVs in living room and bedroom. Looks exactly as pictured. We would stop here again. We stopped to tour Bourbon Trail on our way to Pittsburgh.

Gina and her home were beyond our expectation. She communicated well and was so friendly. Her home was beautiful and whimsical. She provided so many amenities we didn't even expect. Fruit and coffee station. Bathrobe's and extra bedding. The house was so easy to find and walkable to downtown Georgetown and minutes from Lexington. We found ourselves wanting to make more time to be at the house. It was so much fun. We will definitely be back and rent from Gina again.

We were extremely happy with our stay. It was easy to locate. Easy to get inside. Everything was clean and everything we needed was available on site. The home and the decor is beautiful. As well as the property. The entire stay was very peaceful and calming. Sharon was a great host and a very kind person. We would love to stay there again!

We loved everything about this home away from home. The interior was very well decorated and detailed so well! The beds were comfortable and extra linens were available. The bathroom was top of line with a walk in shower and rain spout. Plenty of towels available. The outdoor covered porches that overlooked the lake was my favorite place to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and watch the geese swim around and then in the evening with a nice glass of bourbon! The fire pit was amazing with the wet cool weather we had! The kitchen had ample space and everything we needed to do a couple nights of dinner in. They also had a cute little Kentucky Derby themed bar downstairs next to the laundry room with some games! We cannot say enough great things about this wonderful home!

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Loved the peace and quiet on top of that beautiful view. Scott was very nice and I loved the horses.

Great location to go to and from KHP. Neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Close to many restaurants. Mary and Carlos are the ideal hosts!
