Holiday rentals with beach access in George Town

Sheila’s “Lower Deck Apartment” was a perfect jump off spot for our active family of four. Although not within practical walking distance from the beach or amenities, everything was a short drive away. Groceries, restaurants, beaches, boat rentals, etc. were nearby. You will need a rental car if you stay here, or get really good at arranging taxis. We couldn’t find snorkeling gear to rent, so we bought some where Sheila recommended and donated it to the house. The apartment is peaceful and pretty with just enough of the basics to cook most anything. The beds are plastic coated, which we figured is normal in the tropics. But it does make for noisy shifts in the night. All in all, we would like to return to Sheila’s place should Exuma be a future destination. The island is just wonderful with excellent splashing and snorkeling, and the many locals we interacted with were warm. The general easygoing vibe there affected the whole family.

Very good. Practically on the beach, sun loungers, towels and complete snorkeling available. Well-conditioned house, very clean, very comfortable for two people. Convenient check-in and check-out. Glenn is always available. The perfect location, on a great beach and with a great restaurant just a few meters away. Everything is very good. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Loved the little beach across from Airbnb and nearby restaurants.

I enjoyed my time at Marisa's Air bnb . It was the same as the photos and she was very helpful with answering my questions and assisting me. I will book again.

Great location and place to stay while visiting Exuma, Very clean and lots of space for the two of us or more. Convenient area to walk to splash bar across the street or to Jolly hall and enjoy the beach. Beach towels/cooler/sunscreen was also available on hand to make the most of our beach days. Clinton was very responsive and accommodating for any needs or questions. I will definitely be booking with Clinton again when returning to Exuma.

Stay was wonderful, very easy to get ahold of. Directions were quite easy to follow, however they did remove one sign from the road (the last one we needed to see where to turn lol) so I would just say look for the med plaza instead! :)

This house had great amenities: fully stocked kitchen in regards to cookware, coffee maker, spices, etc we appreciated the kayaks, beach chairs, and beach towels. We did not get a chance to use the grill, but we appreciated the option of having a grill. Margaret was very sweet in sending us safe travels on what was a stormy travel day. We enjoyed watching the lightning storm over the ocean from inside the house. The beach was less than 30 seconds from the front door and was beautiful, and secluded. We would love to return one day.

The location was perfect! Very own beach area, with SUP and kayaks at our disposal. So peaceful and private, yet not too far from town. The property manager, Lott, was fantastic, and so helpful. We went on excursions most days; rented a boat and toured Elizabeth Harbour; went to every beach we could find...all exquisite and peaceful. Weather for us, couldn't have been any better. Took a day long tour to Staniel Cay which was super fun and filled with lots of cool activities. Touristy but a must see, sort of thing. Looking forward to going back to Exuma.

Jack’s Island House was phenomenal. The house itself was clean and extremely well appointed. There were more than enough towels, water pressure in the showers was amazing, the outdoor showers are a dream, the mattresses are comfortable, pillows are fluffy. It was all great. No complaints. The kitchen has more spices than I do at home and every utensil you need to cook. We cooked dinner almost every night. The view is stunning and literally takes your breath away every morning. I will miss morning coffee on the deck looking out at the blue water. I think Jack could charge double for his place- I was truly in awe of where we stayed. We vacation 2-3x per year and usually stay in an AirBnb because we have 3 kids- I can say without a doubt this is the best place we’ve ever stayed at. Both Jack and the house manager were so helpful and responsive for any questions we had. We were so very sad to leave!!!

Amazing place to stay

Travis's place is amazing private, peaceful and quiet with an amazing view!!! location was great not far from anything. Travis was extremely helpful with recommendations and responded very quickly to all my answers. when I return to exuma there's no other place I'd stay.

What can I say except that view! My family enjoyed 9 days/8 nights here. Lots of local restaurants near by. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare home cooked meals when we were too tired to go out, pay close attention to stores operating hours as we discovered most things are closed Sunday. So many good beaches around, Tropic of Cancer beach was our favorite which is a little further drive but if you don’t feel like going out the beach in the backyard is awesome and did some snorkeling out to that large rock. The locals were very friendly. Definitely recommend chartering a boat and visiting the chat and chill via water taxi those were the highlights of the trip! We used Roberts island adventures for our boat excursion they were awesome! Evan had great recommendations and got back to us quickly if we needed something and we really appreciated that. We came home feeling very relaxed after our first visit to Exuma.

Very clean, beautiful, updated home. Better than most in the area. As cozy as the house was, it was hard to get me to stay inside.The property has a very beautiful, natural, private beach alongside clear water full of sea life for snorkeling and exploring. There was so much to explore nearby. You can find a cave if you walk about 5 minutes north/west up the beach. We did lose power during some storms and the generator kicked on in less than 10 seconds then worked strong for 3 days as electricity was in & out on the island. Ghandi went above and beyond to communicate & accommodate us during our stay, even beyond checkout from her property. I highly recommend Ghandi as a host and highly recommend her Ocean Oasis property. Side note: the driveway is rough but we made it in a minivan. I recommend a vehicle with higher clearance if you have the option.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The views were absolutely impeccable and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. Dave was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to come back again!

The location is perfect. Having never been to Exuma, we wanted to stay centrally located. We were able to explore the whole island from Edahlia's. Being right on the beach was awesome! Morning coffee watching the sunrise over the ocean from the deck.... sweet! So many beautiful beaches to choose from! Capricorn Beach in front of the house was always nice. We had it all to ourselves. We always felt safe and the few neighbors were friendly and helpful. These are not deluxe accommodations. If you are looking for that, those are available. You can spend as much as you want. The home was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to Exuma and Edahlia's place will be the first one we check for availability.

This was our second time staying here, we love it!! Quiet area, great view and convenient location if you want to adventure north or south.

It is located in Little Exuma in the area where there is almost nothing. House in the tranquility of Barraterre beautiful and has just been renovated all new . Equipped with everything you need It is built on two floors with 2 bedrooms (one double and one with 2 single beds) each with bathroom A shared bathroom Small but fully equipped kitchen x 4 She also provided us with water and drinks in the fridge. Mirrored Ground Floor. There's a place with a washer dryer and all detergents Outside 4 sun loungers for relaxation. Very windy at night but I don't know if it's the time Jenny(the wife)was always available for anything(she also helped us with excursions)and one morning she cooked us the typical Bahamian breakfast. I'd be back in a hurry! Terrace with a view of thewater

We enjoyed our stay at Tamara & Dallas's apartment. It was very cosy and Tamara ensured that there was everything there a guest might need to have a very comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, kitchen and bathroom essentials provided, allocated parking, etc. Tamara was also very responsive and promptly answered all our questions. Though the pool area was not usable at the time, there is a most amazing beach nearby (Jolly Hall) and we often had it all to ourselves. There were so many other beaches and places around Great Exuma and we truly had a fantastic time. The apartment was an easy drive from George Town and the shops, but having a car is essential. We would happily return and stay in Percy's Perch again.

We loved every bit of our stay. The owner was responsive and very friendly. There is a bar/restaurant right in front of it- super convenient, and we met the owner of that restaurant who was also very friendly. It is a popular spot for the locals at night. The home was clean, no complaints. There is AC in both of the bedrooms, which is great, but not in the living room/kitchen. That was not a problem for us with the temperature during April, and able to feel the breeze through the screen at times. The beach is gorgeous and private. It was one of our favorite beaches that we had visited/experienced. We saw starfish, an eagle ray, and lots of fish right off the beach. We stayed at Hoopers Bay at another airbnb right after this stay, and we prefer this spot. Hoopers is nice and very convenient to shops, grocery, and restaurant options. But this spot is mixed in with the locals and the culture. We hope to be back again soon!

Terecita's place is well thought out. It is clean and comfortable with everything you need. The complimentary toiletries, drinks and snacks were very thoughtful. Thank you. I look forward to staying here again.

This is a great Airbnb! It’s a great size and was immaculate! Right on the beach…you can hear the ocean from the living room and the master bedroom, both have glass doors to the deck! Fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer was a huge help!! It’s right by the airport so very convenient. We booked literally the last minute and they had everything spotless and ready very quickly. The communication was great. Would definitely stay here again..highly recommend!!!

This place was a dream! Lidia and Eric were wonderful hosts and very helpful! They were always available for us and provided a ride to the airport for us. Driftwood was the most beautiful place, not to mention my two young children LOVED it!! Hope to visit again soon!
