This is a great cottage to stay. The residential area is safe and quiet; and close to shopping and restaurants on Magazine st and St. Charles. Luv uptown. Best area of New Orleans yet close enough to to the CBD and the Quarter... Julia is a great host.. considers all needs!

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

Such a beautiful and spacious home. It was super easy to get into and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and using the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and neighbors were friendly. Would 100% return!

This was THE place to stay. It was walkable to EVERYTHING. Great outdoor backyard, hundreds of things to do in the area and the place was so beautiful. It’s in the middle of the action, so if noise bothers you, go out of town. This was perfect for quiet mornings and fun nights. Daphne was so responsive and even went out of our way to inform of a local (peaceful) protest in the area to make sure we were aware. I have stayed in NOLA many times and have never had such a great experience. This was for a bachelorette trip!

Spent a week for my daughter’s college graduation. The house was perfect. Great location and stocked with everything you could need. 3 blocks to st Charles street car and short walk to magazine street. The house has large kitchen for cooking with family and a great table for playing games. The out side area was perfect for a post graduation cook out Very large home with more than enough space for extended family to hang out Together but many areas to spread out for quiet time. Definitely will need to try the hot plate sold at the place across the street for lunch. The food was amazing and 10 dollars for a huge portion.

An Amazingly Charming Stay in the Heart of New Orleans! This home perfectly captures the spirit of New Orleans. The exterior has that classic, historic charm I dream about when I think of the city, and the interior beautifully balances vintage character with modern comforts—those beds were incredibly comfortable! The original hardwood floors and thoughtful furnishings made it feel both cozy and stylish. Just a heads-up: this is a true New Orleans shotgun house, so the rooms flow one into the next with no hallways. It’s also a duplex with shared walls, so sound can carry—something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the charm and location more than made up for it. We felt completely safe walking to and from the French Quarter (just a 15-minute walk), even late at night. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made everything easy. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Me and my husband really enjoyed our time at the house! It was peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

My husband and I had a really wonderful and memorable stay, thanks to Ian, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, offering genuine hospitality and even took us out on our last night in New Orleans (during Jazz Fest), which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The space itself is definitely more of a lived-in space; cozy but a little cluttered. That said, the unit is bigger than the photos lead on. There is a bonus sink/vanity right outside of the bathroom, that was certainly a plus for us when getting ready for the day/night. The location is ideal, walking distance to grocery stores, street cars, buses, and GREAT restaurants; at the same time the apt is remote and away from any street noise. We did run into an issue with the shower temperature and Ian fixed it right away. If you're someone who values a warm, local connection over a super polished space, this is your spot! Ian's hospitality is next to none!

The bnb was pristinely clean and beautiful! The back porch was a nice touch for our Sunday breakfast. Everyone felt safe, and slept very well. Safe neighborhood, and centrally located to many attractions. We’ll definitely utilize this bnb again for future visits.

Visited NOLA for my daughter's birthday and the French Quarter festival. Had a wonderful time. Melanie's place was only 1 block from St. Charles Street car stop. Convenient to everything! Melanie's home was very roomy and looked just like the pictures. Would stay there again next time I visit NOLA.

This place was everything you could ask for. Quiet, spacious, just like the pictures. Location is close to everything and the host was amazing. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is fantastic! Exactly what we were hoping for and more! CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL & A+ STAFF! We walked everywhere while here and felt right at home! The hot tub and pool were perfect at the end of each day. The weather got nasty but the courtyard and pool area were still wonderful!!Michael responds to messages ASAP and was super helpful! Our very large family enjoyed this house. It has an unusual arrangement due to being able to rent individual rooms but once we understood the concept we felt safe and secure. Wished there had been a way to understand that before hand instead of being caught by surprise by there being another person. We never crossed pathes with the other person.

This was such a cute space within walking distance to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The outdoor area was huge and had space to relax and hang with friends. Staff were kind and helpful. The pool was amazing after long days in the sun. Highly recommend!
