Cottage holiday rentals in Garachico

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

The place is beautiful, we have a beautiful view from the accommodation, the terrace. On the other hand, very strong climb to reach the place... Difficult to walk from there in view of the difference in altitude. The good thing is the fairly quick access (by car) to what is to see on the island. Nice little pool and jaccuzi! The bedding and towels available in quantity and very clean in general.

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

We wanted to disconnect from everything and that's exactly what we got here. It's such a little hidden gem, very private, the BBQ & pool areas are a touch with views looking down towards the Atlantic! Literally an 8 minute drive up through La Guancha and you are in the forest, I can recommend Casa de la Pradera easy terrain, our dogs loved it. A few hundred meters up the road and you come to Bodega Viñatigo very nice wines. The host Lara is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

The accommodation exceeded our expectation. The view from top of the roof amazing, you have see vie at front on your side mountains and other side forest. Very peaceful place with lots of place to explore. the accommodation is fulfilled with everything you need starting from matches to washing liquid for clothes. Very fresh beddings with lots of fluffy blankets. Very good internet connection considering how high the house is based. Our family of 5 had planty of space. Owner very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time in this spacious three-bedroom vacation home. It is well maintained and clean. In winter, you need warm clothes. Marta is a very good host, everything was ready when we arrived. In case of difficulties, she helped us a lot and was always very accessible. Thank you Marta. El Tanque is rather quiet and not a tourist spot. The vacation home is an ideal getaway if you want to avoid the tourist spots. Nevertheless, the northern beaches and villages are easily accessible by both car and bus. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished – many beautiful details! 😊 Maribel was super attentive and always available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

The host Maria is great, always helpful, super friendly and sweet with our kids. We had a great stay in the house and enjoyed the view over the bay and the banana plantation. Maria also provided us with a whole load of freshly harvested bananas which tasted amazing. Totally recommended place.

We had a truly unforgettable stay in Los Silos an experience we’ll always cherish. The evenings spent enjoying dinner and drinks in the garden were magical, full of charm and warmth. I had a bit of trouble with the check-in process because I was swamped and forgot to send my details, but Jan was incredibly patient and kind, calling a few times to help me through it all with genuine care. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped everything from toasters and mixers to an oven and a wide range of seasonings. If you love to cook, you’ll feel right at home. This place is incredible! A wonderful stone house in the mountains. Peaceful, beautiful and cozy like home. You can find everything you need in the house. BBQ zone is perfect. We used it every day! We had all our breakfast with a wonderful mountain view. What could be better than spent your evening near fireplace after whole day exploring? The host is super nice and helped us to find a nice whale watching tour. We didn’t have issues with parking. At least one place was available every day in the evening. We had visited a supermarket in advance before checking as there are no stores near. But it is not an issue at all. I strongly recommend that place!

Great flat with fantastic views in a calm and secluded area. Beautiful garden with a very calm and clean pool. Only downside is in my opinion, that the location is not super easy to reach, but that might just be the price for having such a nice and calm environment.

What an exceptionally beautiful location. The most beautiful Panorama views over the Teno Mountains, the gorge in the distance, the sea, and all this from the terrace. The route to the apartment was clearly indicated, narrow path to the parking lot, but easy to reach. Reception and explanation from Pedro was friendly and welcoming, very nice. Very clean and maintained. Indeed, it's useful that you do some shopping. There are some restaurants open during the day with a simple menu. During the day there are many tourists, after 5 p.m. they left and reverses the tranquility, which is so characteristic of the village. Outside the Mascakloof walk, there are also beautiful walks outside the village. Ask the tourist agency for e.g. RondWalk TF 56 to TF 51 and finish the circle with TF 59. Alternating scenery with beautiful views. The only minute are the hard mattresses, but that seems to be everywhere in Spain. In short, we really hope to go back again and then for a longer period of time.

Olga is friendly, helpful and a very kind person! It was just perfect! The accomodation has everything you need! It was really beautiful and exactly what we searched and expected! :-) We would always recommend and will definetly come back.

Perfect stay! We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was just as described in the photos, it was very cosy, lots of amenities, renting a car is a must, but everything is well taken care of! Would definitely recommend!! Thankyou Belen!

I can not say enough positive things about Juan and his Casa. It is the most incredible place and Juan is the best host. The vista of the azure sea and mountain range is breathtaking. We ate fresh Avocados from the orchid and enjoyed lazing by, and cooling off in the much appreciated pool. We cannot wait to return.

We had a great few days at Alba's place. The house is beautiful, very well equipped and with spectacular views. Although we weren't in for a long time, it was the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy. Communication with Alba was easy and fast. 100% recommended!
