Cottage holiday rentals in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home with high quality and versatile amenities. It has everything you need and more (washing machine, clothes rack, sandbox toys, pool toys, lots of blankets, bathrobe,..) There are various outdoor spaces, all of which are very nice and lovingly designed. The only downside: the accommodation is at 600 m. At this altitude, you are often in the clouds in spring while looking at the sunny sea. It's also a lot cooler than the sea.

We had a lovely time at Kaya’s house. The view is amazing. The house is very private with quiet surroundings. It contains all of the amenities. The little town is within walking distance where there are restaurants, a bakery, and a grocery store. We highly recommend it!

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

This is a really lovely cottage in very beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfect, our host Alberto was very responsive. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The views and sunsets were gorgeous.

What a perfect hideaway. So peaceful. This lovely little house sits high above the ocean with amazing views. Comfortable, inviting and secluded. Neida is the most gracious and kind host. We were sad to leave. If you are a hiker… GR130 is right out of the gate.

Ana's place is super nice. However, you have to be prepared that it is really remote and the nearest shop is about a 45-minute drive away. The distances are not that big, but the streets are narrow and curvy. If you are looking for peace and deceleration, but this is a wonderful place to stay in the most beautiful surroundings. The equipment is great, everything was very clean and Ana always reachable and very friendly. You can walk from the apartment to the coast to the wild Atlantic (about 20 minutes, 160 meters of altitude) and also take other beautiful hikes. Also from the house and the terraces you can see and often hear the sea - thank you for this beautiful holiday!

It was simply fantastic. Gonzalo is a very warm host. The place invites you to relax. You can also reach important hiking routes or the sea in a short time. Restaurants are also available. The house takes you back to a different time, which is meant positively. It is a lovingly furnished casa rural. The garden is beautifully laid out.

The apartment is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished – many beautiful details! 😊 Maribel was super attentive and always available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

This place is gorgeous and the persons taking care of it : amazing friendly people ! Lourdes has welcomed me in a super warm way, best welcome ever on a BnB. She has a big heart and is super available, always reachable. She made me feel home. The view of the ocean is precious and you can see volcanoes from your garden ! The beds are super comfy and the house very well equipped and with so so much charm. You can go without hesitation. Thank you <3

This is such a find! If you want peace and quiet and to be nestled amongst wonderful plant life, this is the place to go. It’s located at the top of a hill covered in cactus and aloes (not suitable for people with mobility issues) with views of san sabastian. It’s a half an hour walk or a 5 minute drive into the city centre. When we arrived we couldn’t immediately find the place as it’s up a dirt track but Domingo kindly met us at a local bar and took us to the place. He even gave us veg and eggs from his small farm. Pedro who works on the grounds was also really helpful and explained the local area to us and showed us to the supermarket. He has a lovely friendly dog too. We didn’t meet Aida but she was really responsive to our messages. The place was super clean with a comfy bed and it had all the amenities we needed. Lovely terrace too with plenty of room to lounge and to have a bbq. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible! A wonderful stone house in the mountains. Peaceful, beautiful and cozy like home. You can find everything you need in the house. BBQ zone is perfect. We used it every day! We had all our breakfast with a wonderful mountain view. What could be better than spent your evening near fireplace after whole day exploring? The host is super nice and helped us to find a nice whale watching tour. We didn’t have issues with parking. At least one place was available every day in the evening. We had visited a supermarket in advance before checking as there are no stores near. But it is not an issue at all. I strongly recommend that place!

Truly an amazing place to stay. The pool is perfectly designed with a spectacular view and great privacy. The house is beautiful and very well appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen even tupperwear. Very nice dishwear. We could see Mount Teide from the bed when we waking up in the morning. Absolutely stunning. The beauty of looking down at the yard and the coastline never lost its magic. There is a lovely little down at the shoreline below with excellent little restaurants and artisan shops. Breathtaking hikes a 15 minute drive away. We wanted to stay forever. This place made us fall in love with La Gomera. Just book it.

The vacation in the accommodation was very nice. The apartment completely matches the advertisement. It is relatively new and it lacks nothing. We only communicated with the co-host Carlos, who contacted us a few days before arrival and was our first point of contact. He was super nice and always available and gave us many tips and recommendations.

Olga is friendly, helpful and a very kind person! It was just perfect! The accomodation has everything you need! It was really beautiful and exactly what we searched and expected! :-) We would always recommend and will definetly come back.

We had a great time in this authentic holiday stay! Do not expect (material) luxuries such as a white marble floor, dishwasher or netflix. However, the house exudes a lot of atmosphere and is a perfect base for when you want to discover the whole island, look up the peace and space, and don't like big tourist spots. The garden is magnificent and there is also plenty of indoor space, although we mainly made use of the veranda and the private pool. Cande is a super nice host who lives above the holiday stay with her husband, while your privacy is completely guaranteed. We were even treated to delicious, specially prepared paella. As for parking, save yourself the trouble of parking inside the fence, but put the car in one of the many parking spaces on the main road. From there it is still 30 meters (steep) walk up to the entrance of the garden.

We had great and relaxing time at Jose's place. The garden was amazing and it was a really quiet place to relax for us. What we especially liked is that we were directly in the mountains with access to good hiking spots. Jose was a a very gracious host. The house has multiple routes, but they're not all equally easy to navigate. Jose picked us up from a restaurant near the road and showed us the best route. We really appreciated this
