Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gangseo-gu

We had the best of times at this AirBnB! Every morning we had a different breakfast prepared by the host. Always delicious and satisfying. She was very gracious and extremely responsive despite there being a language barrier. The space itself was very tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Since each room had a door that leads directly to the courtyard, each room’s occupants were able to come and go without bothering each other. :) There’s a fun food market within walking distance. We got to try a lot of different foods! There’s a lot of cool places to travel to and explore; we highly recommend visiting the local palaces. If we ever get the chance to return to Korea, we would happily stay here again!

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from seoul station exit 12 (with lift for your luggage), convenient store just around the corner. Vry quiet neighbourhood, we had a great rest. We stayed for 3 nights, able to wash n dry our cloth which is a added bonus. Highly recommended

Helpful and accommodating host. The apartment was exactly as advertised and if there is anything you need, just let them know and they will make it happen. Great hosts and amazing staff support to fix things or gives rides!

It was a comfortable stay—very convenient in many ways as well. Yoony was really responsive and hospitable. The house also looked its name, Art House. I’d stay here again! It’s a bit of a hike to get here from the bus station so those with knee problems should keep that into consideration. The alley in front is narrow so sometimes taxi drivers want you to walk where they are. That said, I’m in my 60s and did fine!

I stayed at Do’s place with two friends for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The flat is beautifully decorated and welcoming; we enjoyed the view from the terrace during sunset and the peaceful surroundings. Right next to the flat there’s a lovely breakfast place called Sunday Arvo where we went almost every day. The location is great, walking distance to the bustling Itaewon and Hannam area where Leeum museum and a lot of cute shops and cafes are. We used the bus or Uber to get to other areas of the city. Thanks again for the great stay!

The host was welcoming, and the location is excellent. The property is well-maintained and provided a comfortable stay.

The accommodation was spacious and pleasant. It was nice to have convenient transportation and a grocery store right in front of it.

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is perfect and very close to the subway station (Line 4) and convenience stores, making it easy to get around. The place offers great privacy and top-notch facilities. The host is super approachable and responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!

This check in was to go to KINTEX for a show.First of all, it is very convenient to walk for 30 seconds at the exit of Daika Station.There are also Olive young and convenience stores downstairs in the accommodation, as well as plenty of restaurants and Cafe.It also only takes 10 minutes to walk past the venue, and it is highly recommended that people who watch the show live here.Going to the airport and Seoul city area is also a bus that arrives directly in about 1 hour.The accommodation and the pictures matched the description and the bed was comfortable.Supplies are also provided and there is plenty of water in the fridge.Will stay again next time for a show.

It was perfect. Everything was neat and tidy and clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. Great location and had everything you needed and then some.

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in Heanu’s home! Our host went out of their way to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The home was clean and pictured as expected. We were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there is a steep hill to get to the home, but you can take a detour on the next street for a slightly less steep hill!

Jaekwang and his wife Hyeran was very gracious host. Very spacious accommodations with everything you. Plenty of great places for coffee and good food. The train station was a bit far. However there are a lot of buses in the area. My sister and I took the bus to Ewha Womans University. I would definately recommend this property to others.

It was a very nice place, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!It was friendly and very good.Here's what you need to know about your stay. Fefa Station is the nearest station.From Fefa Station, there is no up and down the road, so it is easy to understand and easy to get to the house.(You can also walk to Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, but it is a little further than Fefa Station, and there is a little up and down.) The bus stop called Dongdaemun General Market is about between Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, so it is easy to understand how to get to and from the airport⇔ house. The house is clean and stylish as pictured.It is kept clean and pleasant. There is also a range, pots, dishes, silverware, pots, knives, etc., and dish soap. You can also use the washing machine, but please take your detergent with you. There is also a balcony where you can enjoy meals. The surrounding area is safe and very quiet. There is a Starbucks and CU (convenience store) between the area around Fefa Station to the house, making it convenient.There are also cafes, mochi shops, and bakeries. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom.Body soap and shampoo are also available.Bring your own toothbrush. The host will give you recommendations for nearby shops and send me a message how to use the room.They returned my questions right away and prepared what I asked for right away.Thank you for your kindness, polite, and quick to respond.

The flat is amazing and filled with everything you need from kitchenware to washing machine. The location is amazingly central. Plus Jason is a great host, responding quick and very flexible in terms of luggage storage and help. Highly recommended and would visit his place if I am back in Seoul again.

Very nice location with lots of walkable restaurants! Large fridge and nice bathroom, but it felt much smaller than the pictures. One of the rooms was so small and without an AC unit that we ended up not even using it. The apartment was also located up two flights of stairs which made it hard when transporting luggage. Owner was very nice and communicative and even let us stay a couple hours past check out. :)

I stayed here for 6 nights with 3 other friends. It was neat to stay at a place that was built in the same style and era of many of the historic landmarks you visit at Seoul. Mr Chul has done a great job of striking a balance between preserving the historic feel but providing modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The location is very walkable and easy to get to different neighborhoods via public transit. The rooms were simple and minimalist, you sleep on a mat on the floor, so be prepared for that, but they were comfortable enough for me. The rooms do have AC and bathrooms are modern with strong water pressure, modern fixtures, etc... Mr Chul greeted us when we arrived and gave us a great intro to the area, he even walked is to the cafe we were meeting some friends at, he really goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. I totally recommend staying here!

Beautiful hanok experience located close to everything. Host was super responsive and the space is beautifully maintained and clean.

A very nice hanok located in a great neighborhood, decorated with (good) taste! Very well equipped, clean and spacious, this Hanok is very nice to rest between 2 visits to Seoul. The kitchen amenities are of excellent quality and very complete, the host even prepared breakfast for us in advance, it was very appreciated! Small precaution to know, the traditional hanok mattresses are quite thin, the comfort is not the same as in the usual beds. We highly recommend this place, in which we had a lovely stay in Seoul!

The hanok was super charming and a fun experience for our family. Sleeping on floor mats was fine (there was 1 normal bed) but if you don’t like firm mattresses, this place may not be ideal for you. Bathroom spaces are tight but keep in mind this is a historical home! All rooms had AC units and the washer was handy. The host provided lots of instant coffee and teas. The location was awesome. Easy walking to Tongin Market, tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Convenience stores and local grocer nearby. Gyeongbokung Palace and the Blue House are also within walking distance. While there are tourists, majority of people were not. The host was quick to respond to questions and accommodated our request for an extra bed for a last minute guest!
