We had a great stay with friends! The accommodation was as described, very clean, well located and perfectly equipped. The quality of the layout and decoration is top notch. The same goes for the outdoor spaces, with terraces all around the house so you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Super clear instructions, and a short message during the stay to know if everything is going well. We fell under the spell of the swimming pool, the wild environment (in the middle of the forest, we could see hares) and this house with typical architecture of the region, enhanced by a high-quality renovation. As architects, we have been able to appreciate the mix between the charm of the old and contemporary functionality. Big plus also for the very high quality bedding. In short, amazing accommodation

Myriam's house is simply wonderful. Very spacious, with a very comfortable master suite (bedroom + giant dressing room + bathroom), a top relaxation area: Sauna & pool, a veranda with professional plancha etc. etc.! Without hesitation, a dream house that we are sad to leave. The small town of Tartas, just next door, offers everything you need, but you should be aware that Bégaar is far from everything and you will have to drive a lot to access the interesting sites of the region. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to the coast, the mountains, lots of walks and villages with good food and interesting history. Very nicely furnished and everything we needed. It is always a good sign when the kitchen knives are nice and sharp! We really appreciated Jackie’s help .

We are happy with our stay. The house is spacious, there are lots of toys, books for the kids. The garden is large and the proximity to the surrounding forest is pleasant. The beach is close by car, the supermarket too. The neighborhood is quiet. We may be back ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Xavier’s place. It’s a beautiful setting and a lovely place that is clean quiet comfortable and beautiful. It has so much to offer - pool, art supplies, cinema, BBQ, walking trails, and bikes. You never want to leave. The animals are beautiful and so fun to spend time with. Xavier and Christophe are so welcoming and always available if needed. There is plenty of hot water, a well equipped kitchen. and comfortable beds. Play area outside for kids plus lots of toys and games inside. This place is truly a gem. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Xavier et Christophe!! A la prochaine

The house is exactly as described and is finished to a very high standard. There are top quality appliances, furniture & amenities throughout. It was also very clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The house is very well located. Hossegor is full of great restaurants & shops. The lake is a 3 minute drive (also walkable) and the ocean is about 8mins. Etienne was a great host. He was very responsive & helpful before and during our stay and made sure everything was perfect for us. We would happily come back again.

Jérôme and Elise are very welcoming, attentive and responsive hosts. We had a great stay, cut off from the world in the heart of Béarn. It's the perfect place to turn off your phones and get back to the simple things. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The aperitif board was a nice surprise for the end of our stay. We'll be happy to go back!

Chris and Lotte have done a fantastic sympathetic restoration, of a very fine and spacious 1930s house, in a secluded and tranquil setting. It makes a perfect base for exploring delightful local surroundings, or further afield to the likes of San Sebastián. Chris and Lotte are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

A big thank you to Chantal and her husband for their rare friendly welcome, their precious advice that allowed us to spend 3 incredible days in the region, and their pleasant house in which everything was done to make us feel at home. The furniture is great, a beautiful terrace/garden to spend meals or evenings, everything was clean and the house well-equipped. Chantal makes sure her guests have everything they need! We will remember our stay for a long time and will be happy to come back. Thanks again 😊

The accommodation offered by Audrey is very warm and well located. The city center is a stone's throw away, many bars and restaurants are nearby.

We used Beverly’s property for a one night stopover on our journey from Spain to the UK and it was perfect for our needs. Lovely quiet location with all the amenities we required, bed was really comfortable. Communication with Beverly was excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again

My partner and I were very comfortable for 3 days. The apartment is well equipped and furnished. Nothing is missing. Very clean and tastefully decorated. We'll be back without thinking about it right now. 😁

We really enjoyed our stay in TJ's apartment - it is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. The location is great - the apartment is just a short walk from the Sanctuary, the Fort, grocery stores and several excellent restaurants. TJ and co-host Julien were very proactive and helpful, providing lots of useful information and helpful suggestions and always responded very quickly to any requests. We particularly appreciated their help in arranging a taxi for us at short notice when we were leaving on a quiet Sunday morning. We look forward to staying at their apartment again when we next visit Lourdes.
