Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Gallatin County

Martine and Janice were both fantastic from the time we booked to the time we left with communicating with us. They provided clear instructions on how to gain access to the home, some interesting history on the area and home, activities to do in the area, and instructions for check out. The home was very clean. The floor plan was nice with large open living/dining space facing the river. Watching the barges on the river was pretty cool and there is a nice deck with comfy deck furniture or two comfy chairs inside you can enjoy watching them from!

We had a wonderful stay at Angies place. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Pac-Man game was a hit! Adequate bathrooms for 8 people. Angie was very responsive and sweet. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a place where they can feel at home.

Marie's place was perfect. A group of us came to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter for my birthday. The beds were comfy, very clean, fire pit was relaxing and great communication. The only downside I had was the shower pressure. I tried different settings on the shower head, but the pressure was still low, and it was hard to rinse out the shampoo for us ladies. This is the bathroom near the kitchen, but other than that, everything was great. Thank you again!

Tyler's place was just as described. The furnishings were comfortable, the deck and pool were great places to chill, and the fenced back yard was perfect for us as a old couple traveling with a young dog. (Our dog REALLY enjoyed the freedom to wander and run in the back yard.) Neighborhood is peaceful and a very short drive to some restaurants and stores in Independence.

Our stay was very nice and had a great time. We were able to feel right at home. Was great the 7 of us. Was great to have stocked kitchen and big pots and pans to be able to cook the full meal in. The deck in the back was our place most of the time. View was beautiful and wild life was seen several times. Mark and Janet were great to work with and communicate with. We had a WiFi issue but Mark jumped on it immediately to get issue taken care of. I felt like I knew them a long time. Thank you so much. We will be back again.

Kari's place is wonderful! You feel comfortable and like you are still at home! Very peaceful and watching the cows in the morning is relaxing. Kari is great to communicate with and my family and I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Perfect location to the Ark Encounter and easy drive to the Creation Museum. Peaceful and full of wildlife. We saw turkeys, rabbits and deer in the backyard! Every evening we would walk to the pond, sit on the bench and listen to the frogs! House is super clean with coffee and snacks available. Sheila is a great host and very responsive to any questions we had! I highly recommend Sheila's place and will stay here again if in the area!

Wonderful place to stay. Great to relax after a long day at the Ark Encounter! Very clean and accommodating. When we come back to visit the Creation Museum, we'll be staying here again. Thank you so much and God bless!

I'm not sure where to even start! This was a little slice of Heaven on Earth! The land/views are STUNNING. There are so many activities on the property- walking the trails, kayaking/canoeing in the "creek" (looked more like a river to me), pedal boat and/or swim in the pond, volleyball, fire pit for dinner/smores, or, my favorite, relax on the front porch and take in the beautiful views. We were so excited to be able to take our 2 dogs. They had a blast as well! So much room for them to run and they enjoyed the water! The cabin was the cutest! Very cozy, yet, plenty of room for our family of 5. I'm already looking forward to our next stay!

What a great getaway! Our son experienced his first time fishing (and catching!) and what a great place to make those memories. It was a quick hour drive to Noahs Ark. The hot tub was squeaky clean and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.

The Lodges were family-friendly and felt like a community. All the facilities were brand new. They were quick to communicate with us and respond to our requests. There is a Dollar General nearby for supplies. Very comfortable facilities. If we go back, this is where we will stay. Thank you

The cabin was adorably decorated, especially if you’re visiting the Ark Encounter! Love the view from the backyard-stunning! Great time!

Absolutely beautiful place. We stayed in the smaller part of the house (to the right when looking at the house). Super clean house & a very well supplied kitchen. Great patio & grilling area also. Parking area is very steep but it was worth it.

This home was such a peaceful escape from the fast passed work life! We stayed a couple of days enjoying our military boys and the homes location on the lake, inbetween visiting the Ark Encounter, and the hour drive to the Creation Museum. This was PERFECT!
