Beachfront holiday rentals in Gafanha da Boa Hora

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

The house is small, but it is very well used and everything was very clean. Same or better than the pictures. It is located a few steps from the beach, which is ideal. The beds are very comfortable and allow a good rest. The kitchen, although compact, is fully equipped, and also has many utensils. It also has several tools such as an iron, dryer, fan... Whatever you are looking for and need, you will find it. The decoration gives it a unique and cozy touch. Rui was always attentive and very kind. Highly recommended!

The house is huge, very spacious, perfect and very comfortable for a large group. It is very close to the beach, where there are not many people and you can enjoy it quietly. The location is not very central on foot, the best option is to come by car or move by taxi. It has different tools for cooking and cleaning, everything works properly. The Host is also very kind and gives very clear instructions.

Raquel was a wonderful host! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. She was really helpful and provided great local recommendations. Communication was clear and friendly throughout. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The house of Pedro is spectacular, according to what is in the ad, very nice, welcoming and very well located, with a shop on the foot and also with a wonderful beach 5 minutes walk. The place is fantastic for us as well as for our friend and partner with 4 legs. Place to return..... 10****

Everything met expectations, a welcoming space with a good location two steps from the beach and the center of Espinho. Mr. Vitor is always available and very friendly. Our stay was great.

Beautiful home in a really cool location with a sweeping view of the bay. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Jamie was there to personally greet us on arrival and made sure all went well. Highly recommended!

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

Sjoerd and Joana's house is everything you need to disconnect and feel right at home. Sjoerd and Joana have lent us their beautiful house where nothing is missing. The village of Quiaos and its beach is perfect for resting, walking along the beach and sitting in a beach bar to watch the sunset. From there we were able to make excursions to Porto, Aveiro or Coimbra. The highway connection is perfect. We'll never forget the dinners in the courtyard listening to the sea in the distance. Silence, rest, nature, beaches, tourism all in one place. Don't hesitate to choose this house for your next vacation. Thanks for sharing your home Sjoerd and Joana.

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking lot. The landlord Manuel took care of things proactively and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, separated only by the waterfront road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August, a fair takes place right in front of the house with corresponding volume in the afternoon and evening.

The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, it was not missing any details! One of the cleanest places I've ever been to. In addition, Lucia we leave variety of fruit, juice, milk, etc. for breakfast. It was a real luxury to stay in his apartment. Thank you so much! We will be back!!!

Took Christine's property as our base from which to attend a wedding and explore near by Aveiro and further. Five kids and adults where in our party who absolutely loved the large heated pool. Highly recommend and I would happily return. Love from Greg and the family. Obrigado!

Excellent! A very good place to spend a vacation. The house is beautiful, with everything we needed to spend a few weeks on vacation. The view we have of the ocean is wonderful. Mr. António is very attentive. I highly recommend it.

Rui was very responsive and helpful from the moment we checked in. He even got us a wonderful dinner reservation in Porto. The place was perfect for our family and the location was just what we wanted: tastefully decorated, close to the beach and close to Porto. Would highly recommend staying at Rui’s spot!

The place was very well located. Very easy and fast to get to the beach, several restaurants on a walking distance, city center close by as well. Some stores and markets are available too. The apartment was very clean, and had some nice amenities as coffee capsules, sugar, some pasta and sauce (maybe left by other guests?), soap, detergent, hp (I only mention this because sometimes other places don't offer them). It had nice hot water dish and clothes washer, open space, bedrooms with a very good size. It was the kind of place that makes you think about moving to that region. Would go again for sure.

Paula's accommodation is perfectly located facing the sea and about 20 minutes from Porto by train (station 100m away) or by car. We enjoyed being lulled by the sound of the waves. Bright accommodation, perfectly arranged and equipped. Small treats awaited us on arrival :) Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you again!
