Holiday rentals in Gaeta

La Bougainville was absolutely beautiful. The pictures on the Airbnb website were 100% accurate. The house was spacious well kept and beautifully decorated. The main floor had a kitchen, 2 dining areas, a sitting area overlooking the sea & town, a gorgeous patio with the same view. The second floor had 3 BRs & 2 baths; 1 queen, 1 twin & a 3rd with 2 twins together with more on 3rd floor. There is an apartment some stairs down from the patio with 1 BR which my daughter loved . The host & her son were extremely helpful in answering any & all questions. The very few concerns that we did were quickly addressed. A few things to be aware of:the house is on top of a hill & almost impossible to walk to by foot. We had to call car service every time we wanted to go anywhere. This was a minor inconvenience to us given the beauty of the house. The house is 100 years old so the amenities are not state of the art, but well maintained & in perfect working order. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Bougainville.

Larimer was perfect for my first stay in Gaeta. It is conveniently located on the ground floor, tucked away in a quiet residential section. Larimer is a brief walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and medieval section. It has a small patio for enjoying coffee or simply drying laundry. The space was clean, organized, exactly as pictured, had refreshing air conditioning, plenty of storage space to unpack, a firm bed, extra pillows, and more. Gianmarco, a Gaeta expert, was also beyond expectations. He communicated clearly, was patient with my inability to connect to the WiFi (my fault completely - it worked the whole time), and gave suggestions when I asked about restaurants. During my visit I slept well, felt safe, and enjoyed having the comfort of Larimer when I needed quiet time to myself.

L’appartamento ha un’energia ed un fascino fuori dal comune. La vista sul mare é sfarzosa. Ci si sente a casa, circondati da tanta bellezza. Luca é un host d’eccezione, presente e proattivo. Il luogo ideale per rigenerarsi.

Filippo host gentile e disponibile, la sua casa è veramente bella, nuova e con bellissima vista. Unica pecca la mancanza di ascensore, ma è un difetto segnalato in descrizione quindi nessuna sorpresa negativa

Tolle moderne Unterkunft,klein gemütlich und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist zentral in der Stadt und direkt am Hafen und zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen,die Gastgeberin war auch total nett und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Das einzige wenn man lärm empfindlich ist,sollte man berücksichtigen dass die Unterkunft direkt neben einem Restaurant ist und es abends verhältnismäßig laut ist (uns hat es nicht weiter gestört) Wie kommen sehe gerne wieder ☺️

Everything you could want from a place. Perfect location right in the heart of Sperlonga, whilst also perched perfectly above the Sperlonga roofs, beach and sea. To top it off, Benedetto was incredibly accommodating- even picking us up and dropping us off at the train station. We did not want to leave!

It is an amazing place - so highly recommended! Terrace is a gem and has a million dollar view. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, thought-through and has a soul – the host created it with love and affection. We are a family of 3; each of us had their own bathrooms in bedrooms and comfortable beds. Numerous books on Gaeta on the shelves show how respectful to the city the owner is. Gaeta is a charming small town off the beaten touristic tracks. Property is located on the hill in the old town. It has numerous accesses but the quickest is by foot by staircases up high on top - around 10 mins. There is nearly no way you can pick up the suitcases this way – so the car is needed – but this area is with traffic limitations and from 9pm to 5am the cars without special permissions are not allowed. So the only challenge which needs to be solved is accessibility to the property by car and finding spare parking lots – as every day we had to park 40 mins away for a daily rate of EUR15.

We had a lovely stay in Gaeta! Check-in was in person, which we didn't mind except our host was a little late. Once she showed up, she showed us the apartment and even gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to eat. She also gave us information on where to buy bus tickets. The apartment was cute and cozy, with a terrassa where we had breakfast every morning. The location was great and we preferred it to the old town of Gaeta. On the street there is a lot of small shops, local vendors, bars and restaurants. It's also a great people watching spot! The beach is only a short walk away, but go early in the day if you want to avoid the crowds. Over all we had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
