DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS: We have changed some amenities we normally provide: we ask that you bring in your groceries. We still provide coffee/ mini creamers/ sugar and foil wrapped tea bags. Games/books/etc. are limited. Visiting Saranac Lake - the All America City, for a day or a week can be a special time. We have lived here for 33 years and raised 4 children. Though we have traveled and lived in several states, we truly appreciate the beauty of the Adirondacks.
“As always, Deb’s place was sparkling clean-but the extra steps she took to try to prevent covid- time between travelers stays, airing out the apartment, extra cleaning, etc. allowed me to relax and enjoy my first travel in five months. The short walk into Saranac and quiet terraced garden that Deb is always outside maintaining were my favorite parts of this trip.”

“This place was just what we needed after 3 days of camping. 10 minutes from Lake Placid and from Saranac Lake, a lot of hiking, fishing, dining and walking around Lake Placid. Everything was sparkling clean, nicely decorated and relaxing. It was a lot bigger than we thought it would be and had everything we needed!! We cooked and sat by the fire pit and also ate in Lake Placid and local spots (tail o the pup and the pinecone ice cream). We will be back!”
The only THOW (Tiny House On Wheels) in the High Peaks region! We are nestled in between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake to quickly begin your adventures. This listing was voted one of the top 10 places to stay in the Adirondacks by NYUpstate.com ! This Micro House at 280 sqft will be like sleeping in a clubhouse when you were a kid - if you hadn't then you should try it! We value alternative housing options so if you do as well, or just want to experience living tiny then the Micro is for you!
“Lives up to every single expectation. It's secluded enough where you can enjoy all the aspects of nature and still be about 10 minutes from town. It's also less than 5 minutes from the State Troopers building which adds a sense of security. The place is stylishly decorated and just begging to be posted on social media. The amenities are all you need and we had no problems using them. You're going to want to bathe yourself in bug spray for the mosquitoes but other than that it's beautiful at night. The loft is exactly as advertised, it's a short ceiling so be cautious if you're taller than 5'6". I would also recommend an extra box fan or two, it does get warm sleeping up there. All in all we can't wait to stay again and thank our gracious hosts for providing a wonderful space, tips for locals things to do and making our trip perfect.”
