Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gaasterland

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

We had a nice weekend in cottage de Nink. Clean and tidy house, which was equipped with all comforts with a beautiful view over a meadow. It was right along a somewhat busy road, so the real forest feeling is a little less because of this. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it.

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

Nadja and Bauke were very welcoming and very flexible. The house is beautiful and finds itself in the beautiful old center of Woudsend and it had everything we would need for a great getaway weekend! We will definitely come back and enjoy it once more!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Thank you for everything, Saskia and Flip.

We were with a group of friends of 10 and had a lovely stay at Aleida and Rick's AirBnB. It had enough space, plenty of showers and toilets and each room had its own sink. The place was large yet homely. Highly recommended if you want to explore Friesland with a group! Very nice host too, smooth contact and very nice thinking along. Despite the changeable weather, we really had a great weekend here!

Ruben's sweet ground Level Flat was perfectly Situated for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam. Located literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and the major tram stops it was so easy to get around. The space is clean and bright. We really appreciated the quiet backyard Patio after a day of exploring Amsterdam. We would stay again.

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. Thanks to both of them for the very fine, delicious and cuddly welcome greetings! I'm sure we'll be back.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. “My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The location of this Airbnb is excellent — situated in a quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful stay. The studio is small but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure and temperature. Since the apartment is in the basement, you could occasionally hear noises from the residence above, but it was never a major disturbance. One of the best parts is that it’s right next to a lovely park, making it super walkable. Plus, you can easily walk to many of Amsterdam’s main attractions from here, which is very convenient. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back
