Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gaasterland

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

We hebben een fijn weekend gehad in huisje de Nink. Schoon en opgeruimd huis, die van alle gemakken was voorzien met een mooi uitzicht over een weilandje. Het was wel direct langs een wat drukke weg, dus het echte bos gevoel heb je hierdoor wat minder. Desalniettemin hebben we genoten.

Heerlijk weekend in Dwarsgracht, ondanks de regen We hebben een fantastisch weekend gehad in het vakantiehuisje op de Dwarsgracht, ondanks dat het weer niet altijd meewerkte. Het huisje was comfortabel en gezellig, en de ligging is prachtig — zelfs met regen is het genieten in deze omgeving. Wat het verblijf echt bijzonder maakte, was de gastvrijheid van Eva. Ze was ontzettend relaxed en open, ook met onze beestenbende. We voelden ons meteen welkom en op ons gemak. Het is zo fijn als je ergens komt en merkt dat je niet alleen getolereerd wordt, maar echt gezien en gewaardeerd. Dank je wel Eva, voor je warmte en gastvrijheid! We komen graag nog eens terug — hopelijk met wat meer zon de volgende keer. 🌦️🐾

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

Een prachtig huisje met een mooie badkamer en een fijne tuin. Let goed op dat er geen fornuis in de keuken zit. Er staat terecht dat er een kitchenette in zit, maar je ziet gemakkelijk over het hoofd dat er geen fornuis in de keuken zit. Verder een top appartement en hele vriendelijke mensen!

Wir haben uns das Haus gebucht weil es uns von den Bewertungen sehr angesprochen hat. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber weit übertroffen. Wir kamen in einem Haus in dem wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt haben. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Saskia war problemlos möglich. Wir haben uns das Haus mit einem befreundeten Pärchen gemietet und sind nach einer Woche sehr gut erholt nach Hause gefahren. Wir können das Haus bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen. Wir möchten nächstes Jahr im Herbst wieder kommen. Danke für alles Saskia und Flip.

We waren met een vriendengroep van 10 personen en hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de AirBnB van Aleida en Rick. Het had genoeg ruimte, voldoende douches en toiletten en elke kamer was voorzien van eigen wasbak. De ruimte was groot en toch huiselijk. Echt een aanrader als je Friesland wilt verkennen met een groep! Hele fijne host ook, vlot contact en heel aardigen meedenkend. Wij hebben ondanks het wisselvallige weer echt een topweekend gehad hier!

Ruben's sweet ground Level Flat was perfectly Situated for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam. Located literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and the major tram stops it was so easy to get around. The space is clean and bright. We really appreciated the quiet backyard Patio after a day of exploring Amsterdam. We would stay again.

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Es war einfach großartig! Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir bisher besucht haben. Mit so viel Liebe zum Detail wurde von Janet und Auke eine Wohlfühloase geschaffen, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein wunderbarer Ort sich zu entspannen, Energie zu tanken und sowohl das wunderschöne Zuhause als auch die Umgebung in vollen Zügen genießen zu können. Danke den Beiden auch für die ganz feinen, leckeren und kuscheligen Willkommensgrüßen! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Das Blaue Haus ist wirklich etwas sehr Besonderes. Mieke und Arnold haben es sehr hübsch hergerichtet und es ist perfekt ausgestattet! Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohlgefühlt und meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Sollte ich je wieder nach Giethoorn kommen, werde ich definitiv wieder hier wohnen wollen 🥰

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad! Het appartement ligt in een rustige en natuurlijke omgeving, is smaakvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. De locatie is ideaal: je bent zo in Harlingen en Franeker. Ympkje is een ontzettend vriendelijke en attente host, die altijd klaarstaat. We voelden ons direct welkom. Een absolute aanrader! --- Laat het me weten als je nog iets wilt aanpassen qua toon of lengte.

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. “My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The location of this Airbnb is excellent — situated in a quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful stay. The studio is small but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure and temperature. Since the apartment is in the basement, you could occasionally hear noises from the residence above, but it was never a major disturbance. One of the best parts is that it’s right next to a lovely park, making it super walkable. Plus, you can easily walk to many of Amsterdam’s main attractions from here, which is very convenient. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Am Wochenende war es teilweise sehr laut, weil auf dem Parkplatz gegenüber sich viele Tuner getroffen haben. Unter der Woche war es super ruhig und wir kommen gerne wieder

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!
