The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was very clean. We weren’t able to use the kayaks as the water was still frozen, but that would’ve been a great addition to our stay. Close to North Conway and hiking, we really enjoyed being conveniently located but when we were at the cabin we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere! Gas stove was extra cozy, and the kitchen had all of the pots, pans, and general supplies we needed, and we were so appreciative that the long-ish private road was promptly plowed in the morning after getting 8-10 inches of snow overnight, making it easy for us to get out snowshoeing for the day.”

Fryeburg, Maine is also the home of the historic Fryeburg Fair! Travel 15 minutes to popular North Conway, NH where you will find restaurants, local shops & cafes, ski resorts, and outlet shopping. In winter enjoy skiing, (downhill & nordic) snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and nearby breweries and restaurants. Truly a special place!
