Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Frio River

This place absolutely exceeded all our expectations! The cabins were fantastic, and the sunset views from the hot tub were truly unforgettable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the living room offered plenty of space to relax, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was exceptional—responsive, easy to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing trip. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

Tabita’s home was truly a “home away from home” for us during our stay this week for our son’s BMT graduation. Though the pictures were great, in person, the property is truly outstanding! All bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are open, spacious and really accommodated our large family gathering. We appreciated the setup of the home such that almost every bedroom had a private bathroom. This allowed everyone a bit of quiet privacy in the morning and evening and helped in getting ready for our early mornings at Lackland AFB. The kitchen was pristine and well-equipped. We made all our meals here instead of visiting restaurants with our large group. We were able to cook, bake, grill and clean up with ease! Plenty of seating, extra linens, board games, ping pong, and a beautiful outdoor space were all amenities that our family was very thankful for! Our family has already been asking if we plan to rebook when our youngest son goes through BMT! Thanks for the hospitality, Tabita!

This home was beautiful. The host was very accommodating and our stay was comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will stay again if we come back to the area.

We loved every minute that we spent here, gorgeous barely begins to describe it! Our kids loved everything from the treasure hunt to swimming and just enjoying the outdoors. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, I could’ve stayed there forever……….lol

We had a great time at Jessica’s place! Jessica was extremely friendly and communicative. Her place is just as pictured only better as it is so well stocked with kitchen, bar, bath and pool amenities. We loved the indoor and outdoor swings/hammocks and the pool was icing on the cake. I would highly recommend and hope to have the opportunity to return. Thanks for such a fabulous stay!

Great place, and Cathy is great. Only main thing that bothered us, which we may have missed during booking is the trash you have to take off the property and pay at their garbage disposal place on certain days of the week or take home.

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

Great stay to go out and spend family time and bond. Will definitely be going back.

The place was very well done with new furnishings and well-supplied kitchen. Loved the big screen TVs. Entire house was immaculately clean. Looks like the neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying. Just off a major road with all the conveniences and some nice restaurants. Short drive to everything but not really walkable. Would definitely stay here if I was back in San Antonio for an event.

My only thing to comment on is the kitchen. There is not a lot of pots or pans or gadgets in the kitchen so if you are planning on cooking make sure you think about all the possible things you could need and bring them. The house was great! AC was amazing! Yard is really nice because it is fenced in. Wonderful pool. Very quiet at night so very peaceful! I would stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay! Easy to walk anywhere on Main Street. The hot tub in the back was a great bonus after walking all day to help you relax and unwind. Host was very quick to respond and asked if we needed anything. Can’t wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay. it is very easy to go into town or visit vineyards in the country. Very quiet and peaceful.

Immaculate little cabin on a beautiful and peaceful of property. I booked this AirBNB because of its proximity to both Luckenbach and Fredericksburg, as we were in town for a show at Luckenbach. The beautiful pool also stood out, as most don’t have this amenity. The cabin was exactly as described. The host left a nice bottle of red wine from local winery Becker, which is a great one. She also left some snacks for us which were appreciated late night lol. The bathroom was good size with a beautiful shower with nice array of products and soft towels. The bed was super comfortable as well and the AC cooled the place perfectly. There was a fire pit right outside and a little front porch too for sitting. Just a perfect stay at this most amazing property. Highly recommend and will return in the future.

The resort is beautiful! Spectacular views, peaceful and lots to do in the area. The apartment was very clean, and resort staff very responsive and helpful.

Amazing location if you want to never leave the parking lot! Just walk down main and shop and eat and home is steps away! Lovely inside. Perfectly clean and comfortable.

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

This was a great place. It was not walkable to the downtown shops and restaurants for us. Maybe for a younger person it would be. We had no problem driving or parking on Main Street. Would stay again.

Fay was a great host, she was very responsive and accommodating. The place was nice and clean, had all the things to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely rent again if in San Antonio

We rented the townhouse for our family members since our house did not accommodate all 21 family members that came for Christmas. Shawn’s place is in our subdivision so it worked beautifully. The group that stayed there were very happy with their accommodations.

Mu's place was one of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed at. Plenty of room and in a nice neighborhood. A larger family would not be disappointed staying here.

We had a wonderful stay! The kids had so much fun—especially enjoying the swimming pool, which was clean, well-maintained, and had great shade to keep it cool during the day. Carlos was a very nice and thoughtful host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this place for families looking to relax and have fun!
