For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

Relax in detached, cozy cottage.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove stands on a piece of land between the old port of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are located around the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local baker for fresh sandwiches. A walk started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bikes you can explore the wooded, rural surroundings via all kinds of routes. A place to relax!

Lovely large holiday home

After permanent residence, now available for vacation rental. This great place to stay is a whopping 100 square meters. A bright living room with large dining table, kitchen, oak floor, wood stove, underfloor heating and a double sofa bed. There are two cool bedrooms with king size bed, The master bedroom has a 220 cm long bed. The private garden on the southwest, has a dining table and igloo greenhouse, where you can sit (even in the evening). Unobstructed views.

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Onze "Mooie Liefde" was vroeger de paardenstal behorend tot de eeuwenoude boerderij waarin wij wonen. In 2020 hebben wij het samen met veel liefde en passie omgetoverd tot een tiny house met een oude geleefde uitstraling. Via de groene trap kom je boven op de mooie vide met een 180x200 bed, met tweepersoons matras en tweepersoons schapenwollen dekbed. Onder de vide vinden jullie de prachtige badkamer en keuken. The cottage is located next to our farm and is close to the Drents Frisian Forest, ideal for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. During the summer you can use the swimming pool. An evening the spacious sauna, jacuzzi or hot tub renting for private use is recommended.
