Apartment holiday rentals in Friesland

The apartment Zwaluw has a very nice view from the large balcony. Hosts were very accommodating, friendly, concerned about our well-being and warm. For longer stays, bed linen and towels were exchanged and residual waste was disposed of. Thus highly recommended. Gladly again, best regards, Sabine and Andreas.

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Wow what a fab place. Middle of the countryside yet just a few minutes drive from all the facilities you need. A converted barn has been made into a lovely peaceful space. Wish we could of stayed longer

We (3 sisters) have enjoyed the nice, friendly welcome, clean cottage with nice beds. We were allowed to park the car on the property for a few days while we cycled the 11 city tour. Which was a reassuring thought for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stavoren. Sietske & Henk's apartment is just beautiful and exactly as it appears in the photos. Clearly a lot of thought was put into this apartment. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything you could ask for. The location was also amazing. Close to the station and bars/restaurants but also quiet and private. I had the pleasure of meeting Sietske several times and also shared a drink. She is a very warm and welcoming host. I would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Stavoren. 🥰

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back

Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and view of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, his poem on the wall. Quiet environment, lots to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very friendly and have created a beautiful place. Repeatable!

Great place to stay. Was easy to find. Fenna let us check in when suited us and met us at the apartment. Gave us a quick tour and explained the best places where we could eat out in the area. The flat was warm and cosy with plenty of kitchen ware.

Had a great stay, good host

It was a super relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are lovingly and modernly furnished and lacks nothing. A special highlight were the super sweet animals, which are on the Yard life. Just the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life!

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

It is always wonderful to be on Schiermonnikoog. The location of the apartment is ideal. We were able to bring the dog and there was coffee and tea on arrival. The apartment is fine for a couple of days. Improvements are practicalities in the bathroom: a shelf near the mirror, and a waste bin for (ladies)hygienic matters. In the small bedroom, an outlet for your charger would be nice. All in all, we had a great time. Thanks for hospitality.

We had a very good stay in Leeuwarden. The apartment is the best location, the city center is within walking distance. Communication was straightforward :)

There were two of us staying at the property for 4 nights, which belongs to a larger complex. The communication with the owner was straightforward and friendly. Everything necessary was available on site, coffee, tea, etc. was ready for the first day. Thank you! We were able to rent bikes right in the building and explore the area. All in all, our holiday was very relaxing. We liked the place and Ameland very much!

We had a great stay! The apartment is clean and very well equipped (especially the kitchen). We didn't find the volume bad, as written in other reviews. You can hear normal everyday noises, as usual in hotel complexes. But probably also the neighbors you have right now. Overall, we are very satisfied.

We felt very comfortable. The apartment is well equipped, clean and cozy. It's small, but well laid out. There is even a small dishwasher. The stairs is a bit steep. There is ample parking, for cars and bicycles.
