Beachfront holiday rentals in Friesland

Froukje is a great host and gave us a really great stay! With 3 bedrooms, the property is perfect for 5 adult guests. We particularly liked the fenced and really beautifully designed garden. The run was perfect for our dog. For us people, there is a sitting lounge, loungers and a nice outdoor seating area. Also win barbecue is available as well as bicycles which can be used. In 5 minutes you can reach the supermarket as well as downtown Lemmer by bike.

We felt very comfortable. The completely fenced property is great for dogs. Very good starting point for cycling tours. The double bed is large enough and very comfortable. There is a Senseo machine and a small coffee machine. Great view, especially at sunset.

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

This was the second time we were here. That actually says enough...What a fantastic location, really top! on the water, next to a restaurant and very easily accessible. Remco (the host) is super friendly and the cottage meets the description. It is basic but clean and everything is available. Going somewhere 2 times is already a unique one for us, but this has not been the last time in this place!

Everything was great! The house is unique, the location wonderful. Moddergat is truly a special place. Having the mudflats right on your doorstep is great!

We had a great stay in Langweer! The house is very cozy, especially the living area. The bedrooms are a bit tight for 5 people, but the rest of the house is well-equipped. Pam was quick to respond and gave nice recommendations!

Great place, very clean and cozy, you felt right at home in the chalet. The location was a bit secluded and you had to drive longer for things to do/shopping because there was not much going on there. Unfortunately, prices are only a little too expensive for all the possibilities. Overall, we still had a great few days together & thank you Nicole for the uncomplicated conversation. ☀️❤️

There were two of us staying at the property for 4 nights, which belongs to a larger complex. The communication with the owner was straightforward and friendly. Everything necessary was available on site, coffee, tea, etc. was ready for the first day. Thank you! We were able to rent bikes right in the building and explore the area. All in all, our holiday was very relaxing. We liked the place and Ameland very much!

Everything is great, maybe you should deduct the entrance to the swimming pool from the day of departure because you then no longer go to the swimming pool anyway

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

The chalet is great and very new. All cooking utensils were also available in the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and also the campsite was perfect for us (with a 5-year-old child). The communication with Dirk was super nice and straightforward. We would love to come back!

A nice place to stay in a holiday park. To the reception 2 min walk, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf etc also nearby. The house has a second fridge in the storage room. Unfortunately, the house is not very well insulated, but the heating works great. The fireplace makes the living room cozy. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beddings and towels must be picked up and paid at the reception. However, it and Sylvia refunded the amount immediately.

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet! The place is even more cozy and charming than the photos show — beautifully located and very peaceful. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Birgit was an incredibly supportive and responsive host. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We are already thinking about coming back in the future. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We had great days, it looked like summer holidays! Super nice tent in a quiet spot just behind the dunes.....equipped with fine beds and everything you need while camping! We would love to come back to this beautiful place, thank you Drees!

We were received in a very friendly manner and felt right at home. The apartment is well equipped and above all we loved the large terrace. The view is simply a dream!!! We would come back anytime. Thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

The accommodation was really nice, cozy and spacious. We liked our own garden and the location (right behind the dike) the best - simply beautiful!

We had bad luck with the weather but absolute luck with the cozy cottage. Melanie was courteous and a very likeable hostess. The location is wonderful and you can quickly walk to the town for a short stroll or a visit to the bar.

The bungalow is very nice: right on the beach, cozy decor, perfect amenities and great terrace. Thank you, our stay was great!

Unfortunately, we were only there for 2 full days.... The stay was very nice, the nature and the tranquility you have there is top 👍 accommodation was well and cleanly furnished and Gerda welcomed us very friendly. We would love to come back in the future!

We had a really nice weekend in the house and felt totally comfortable from the beginning. It was super clean and cozy, just like in the pictures. The area is very quiet and well maintained, perfect for relaxing. From the terrace, you can walk directly on the water, which we totally enjoyed. The beach is also just a few minutes' walk away and really nice. The kitchen was well equipped, everything you need was there.

We had a great weekend in Idskenhuizen. Willem Jan is an open-minded, friendly host. The location of the accommodation is great: we were able to relax wonderfully while watching the boats and enjoying the sunset in the garden, which offers some seating areas. The nearest shopping facilities are in the next town, easily accessible by bike. The house cannot be locked as a whole, the sliding door of the children's room can always be opened. It didn't bother us, but it's probably important to know. It will probably be very warm in the accommodation in the summer, as it was already oppressive at times when the sun was shining and there was only a slight draft with all the doors and windows open. We visited Sneek and Sleat, two sweet, old villages and definitely worth a visit! We would definitely come back and can definitely recommend the accommodation despite the two shortcomings!

We thoroughly enjoyed this nice place for five days, lots of privacy and everything present and clean. Sietse and Nicole respond immediately when you ask a question. Thank you and would love to come back again. Bob and Hill
