House holiday rentals in Freshwater

It was a very nice lodge clean and tidy only 5 minutes ti the beach sainsbury just 2 minutes away and host good communication

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

The accommodation was lovely and clean. The lodge was in a quiet cul de sac. The kitchen was well stocked, the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The site was well kept, the swimming pool and sauna were really nice. Communication with Julie was excellent. We look forward to staying here again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

My wife and I have stayed at Helen's place several times, each time we have enjoyed ourselves, we would recommend Helen's place to anyone, it's always very clean and tidy, well equipped. It is situated in a nice part of the park.plenty of places to visit locally, great places to eat and drink , our favourite is the smugglers inn at Milford on sea, great meals and lovely beer garden.

The house is exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious. The whole house is very well maintained. The location is superb. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I would thoroughly recommend it. Our hosts were very easy to contact and made sure we knew everything and had everything.

We hired Bolt Hole and Happy Place at Hoburne.Beautiful comfortable clean homes with everything you need . They were in great positions,the site provides a great restaurant and club house ,warm swimming pool . Would definitely recommend book .Thanks so much …

The cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to be at the end of the day after a long walk. Clare made us feel welcome with little things such as milk in the fridge, butter and jam, biscuits…etc. It feels very homely, clean and welcoming. As soon as I stepped in I didn’t want to leave the place! Great location too with cafés close by to have breakfast or lunch and places for drinks and dinner. We had the opportunity to check in early and leave later which made our stay longer, which was well appreciated. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely stay. Very clean, nice garden area and walking distance to Yarmouth. Great views. Some considerations if planning to stay... The layout is with kitchen and living area on the middle floor, one bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Worked fine for us but worth bearing in mind if young children as the room with bunk beds is a long way from the other rooms. There are also two tables seating four each so can't all eat together if a large group. The parking is a bit tricky if two cars as to park next to the house one car has to go in the garage which is a squeeze for a large car/can't open the doors properly. There is free parking a short distance away though as another option. Overall it was great

This is a great place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Beautiful house and beautiful location. House was clean and really well maintained. We will definitely return!

Echoing other reviews, this is an absolutely stunning place. I totally fell in love with it - so unique, full of character, beautifully done up, and with everything needed for a stay. Such fun being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea. Thanks for a truly fab stay.

I've had a very relaxing long weekend stay at Zoe's place with my family & friends. The house is very clean and clutter free, the Air BnB description of the place is very accurate. The kitchen is well equipped and we're able to make several meals for a group of six! There is clear list of amenities and services provided; The check-in and check-out process was easy. The host was responsive and gave some local recommendations. The host was very accommodating in our request to use their parking space for a couple of hours after we've checked out. The area is very peaceful with great and walkable places to eat. Plus, the neighbours were very friendly! I would recommend this place and will definitely come back. Thank you very much for having us.

Set in a gorgeous location. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the walk into Yarmouth. A perfect location for accessing the island.

Great little place, ideal for what we wanted- have stayed before and would stay again. Great walks with the dogs locally and great places to eat. Place is clean and tidy. Only downside is the parking and loading / unloading the car but it is manageable with the local car park.

We love the place. Large common area with nice bbq stove. The location is superb as it is close to Waitrose and various tourist attractions 🤩

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 30th. The house was perfect for us with great en-suite accommodation, well kitted out house and a lovely garden. All in a wonderful location. Mike was always helpful and efficient with nothing too much trouble. We all said we would love to go back

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

Our stay at Justine’s place was really great, great house, perfectly equipped Kitchen, large bedrooms and large Kitchen/Diner. Extremely fast Fibre Broadband. Justine communicated very well before we arrived so that everything was in place prior to our arrival, even an Airfryer ? Parking was more than ample and locations of Supermarkets was easily found, thanks for a wonderful stay.

A truly special place. The pictures actually don’t do justice to how spacious it is, and how immaculate and well thought out it is, and the Wind in the Willows theme works perfectly in the peaceful surroundings of the riverbank. It’s a really calming and cosy place, and sitting eating breakfast by the riverbank was a joy. The spa bathroom is an extra treat on top. Chris and Judy were extremely proactive and we arrived fully informed with local recommendations and everything was easy to check in and out. We met Judy on the second day who very kindly greeted us and gave us more tips on things to do nearby. We hope one day to return!
