Family-friendly holiday rentals in French Polynesia

Mareva and her husband were great. She stayed on top of our travel plans making sure we made it. We got there super late. Got our car and had trouble finding the house. Michael (her husband) came right away and found us and led us to the house. It’s upstairs so you’ll need to carry your luggage up. It wasn’t a big deal. They helped us. Even though it was so late (2am) Mareva and Michael got the ferry schedule and helped us figure out when we needed to leave to go to Moorea. Then they got up early and led us there and helped to get our tickets and they were able to get us a discount. We stayed one night and it was just a few hours. Everything was like in the description.

Olivier’s villa inside the Legends Residences is situated in the perfect location. Within 5 minutes, you can be at the beach, near very popular snorkel locations and excursion access points, or within driving distance of several attractions, beaches, etc. It gives the feel of being secluded and nestled into the mountainside while still having ocean views. It was the perfect oasis for our week stay, very well equipped. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay in this pristine paradise — an incredible view and gorgeous home with an unparalleled view! Moorea is a largely undeveloped gem that is interesting, gorgeous and peaceful. We loved our visit!

This is a beautiful apartment with a wonderful sea view. The location on the black sand beach was very nice, and we enjoyed using the hotel facilities: pool, spa, bar, restaurant. Thank you to our host for their clear instructions, and their responsiveness when we had questions. We would highly recommend this place to stay in Tahiti.

Thierry a été très acceuillant, a la fois discret et bienveillant mais disponible au moindre besoin. Tres bon emplacement. Le studio est lumineux et a tout ce qu’il faut (nous sommes restés 2 semaines). L’exterieur avec sa piscine était vraiment appreciable. Il a deux chiennes auxquelles il faut faire attention en entrant et sortant mais il s’en occupe quand il est là. Elles peuvent un peu aboyer mais ne sont pas genantes. Super sejour chez Thierry ☀️

Nous avons passé un mois chez Magali. Le logement est conforme aux photos. C'est simple nous avons passé notre temps sur cette superbe terrasse. L'appartement est fonctionnel et nous avions notre propre intimité. Enfin, Magali est une hôte à l'écoute plein de bons conseils et toujours disponible.

A Dream Stay – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of spending a week in this wonderful accommodation, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The host, [Host's Name], was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided me with great tips for local restaurants and attractions that made my stay even better. The apartment itself was spotless and tastefully decorated. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed the terrace, where I could sip my morning coffee while taking in the city view. The location is perfect! Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Harbour , from where you can quickly access all the major sights. Additionally, there are plenty of cafés and shops nearby that made my stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation

Terrific location with absolutely incredible views! We had a fabulous time gathering with family at this comfortable, spacious, well-equipped villa. The beautiful patio area with its two hammocks, tables, lawn chairs, dock, and hot tub were ideal for relaxing and visiting outdoors. From glorious sunrises to watching the full moon rise over the jagged peaks to stargazing at the Milky Way, this was a perfect outdoor space. We especially loved kayaking on the bay using the villa's three kayaks. We also appreciated the convenience of our location on the island. We thought it was ideal for visiting Moorea's beautiful beaches, fantastic restaurants, and hiking trails. For meals and snacks at home, the grocery store is just a few kilometers away. We would happily stay at Villa Oramarama again!

Stayed 1 week at the Yellow house with my husband and 3 children. I loved the location on Opunohu Bay. The house is right on the water so when you look down out the kitchen windows you can see sharks, rays and tons of fish. Across the bay is Moorea activities and we booked a jet ski tour to go around the island which was a highlight of the trip for us all. The house is located in close proximity to two great hiking spots (but you will need a car to reach) Magic Mountain and Belvedere lookout. I would definitely say a car is a must if you stay here but you could spend your time swimming right out front of this house. We brought inflatable standup paddle boards and our kids were launching out every morning and evening. This house was equipped with fans only, they do not currently have a/c. The kitchen was nicely stocked with a brand new oven and a propane stove. The indoor bathrooms could use a window but I would definitely recommend this house to others.

This is one of the best experiences my family has had in Tahiti. Our host, Tama and his family, showed us a warm and welcoming accommodation. They went above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of and have a good time. Their property is very unique and charming, from the over the water Bungalow where they serve breakfast, to the guest house where you have a gorgeous view of the Lagoon. It was an awesome stay with some awesome people.

I’m not sure how to describe what a unique and special place this was for our family of 4. The arrival was simple, we purchased all our groceries for the entire stay and then went about our way to the small boat that took us to Ahuna. Overbuying was necessary as we knew what to expect. “Glamping”. Upon arrival to the villa we were in awe. It’s truly a beautiful & unique property. No other property is like this one from location to views to style to decor. I’m an interior designer so my job is to find beauty and inspiration all around me - and Ahuna did it for me. Everything felt authentic, collected and thoughtful. Please remember the context you’re in. This is a true island beach bum Bora Bora experience. To expect resort amenities is ridiculous and against the magic of this place. We woke up daily in heaven: walked right on our private beach and had coffee on the dock bungalow, paddle boarded, enjoyed slowness, showered outdoor. Ps Mosquitos bite like hell but we survived. Worth it

Nous avons été accueilli par Bob, le mari de titaua. Très accueillant, il nous as directement donné les bonnes adresses de Fare. Absente, titaua est quand même restée disponible par message afin de répondre à chacune de nos demandes. Le logement est impeccable et il est agréable d’avoir une maison pour soi. À 20 min à pieds du centre de fare. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Un logement plein de charme, Un emplacement qui offre une superbe vue sur Papeete, les montagnes, la mer. Mais le vrai plus c’est Nathalie qui apporte une douceur, une gentillesse et un partage généreux de la culture polynésienne. Toujours prête à aider, elle est l’âme du lieu. Si vous chercher plus qu’un simple logement, un réel moment de partage, vous êtes au meilleur endroit. Je recommande très fortement !

Beautiful house, fantastic location, well equipped. Had a good stay.

This is a good spot. I stayed here with my two kids for 4 nights. One night was loud, the other 3 nights were quiet. The house is large and rustic. It sometimes felt hot and there were mosquitos, which was expected. The location is remote which we liked. You can swim from the property, but watch out for coral and sea cucumbers (like most places on the island). Vetea lives on the property next to the rental. He's a lovely host, happy to help and also not overbearing. It was fun to be with him and his family. We are super appreciative.

Merci à Moea pour son accueil, sa disponibilité (très arrangeante !) et ses conseils tout au long du séjour. Les transferts possibles avec le logement ont été bien pratiques pour nous ! Merci aussi de nous avoir donné un logement plus grand (disponible à ce moment-là). Petite cour très sympathique, logement coloré et propre. Centre-ville à 15 min à pied, location de vélos possible au pied du lodge.

We loved our stay. The place is situated in such a special spot. It’s close to the reef break so we’re able to see plenty of whales while still able to enjoy the beach and lagoon. The house is so well curated with local art and has such a special feel to it. It’s feels more like a home with all the beautiful artwork and small touches than a cold hotel with or typical air b&b which we really appreciated. We have been to Moorea several times and will return again and hope to stay here again. The pool and view are wonderful additions to the already spectacular property.

Gaëlle makes everything super easy! Absolutely a superior host. Apartment is very nice and well cared for. Will definitely stay in her properties again.

Nous avons passé un très chouette séjour chez Titaua ! Le logement est très propre, bien équipé et offre un panorama magnifique sur le lever du soleil. Bien placé à condition d’être véhiculé. Merci Titaua pour ton accueil, à bientôt :)

Le logement de Chris a répondu grandement à nos attentes. Propriétaire occupant l'étage de la maison, très délicat et discret, nous laissant l'usage de l'espace avec piscine en privé. Logement très spacieux et agréable, donnant sur la piscine et vue sur l'océan. Une vue à couper le souffle et imprenable sur Morea, cet emplacement est simplement exceptionnel. La chienne nous a adoptés de suite, elle est adorable, présente mais pas gênante. Nous recommandons sans réserve la maison de Chris et sa compagne.

Daniele, Andre and Gaelle were very nice hosts, and extremely helpful. As Americans who do not speak French they made our stay with them very joyful. We will miss them (plus popcorn, Mimi and Joy)!

Beautiful property with a pool onsite. It did rain while we were staying for 2 days, however, this made our stay restful. Ingrid is lovely, very friendly and made recommendations for local activities. We love Sharman (cat) too. Wonderful stay, clean and accomodation has evetything you need - you will need a car to location. Mauruuru Ingrid 🌺

The house was great and exactly as described. Caroline was responsive and even allowed an early check-in, which we appreciated. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, with clear turquoise water and rarely more than 2-3 people. We had one issue with the pool, but it was addressed a few days after. There were very few mosquitoes during our stay. We loved the yard, landscaping, and flowers. Be aware that ants quickly come for any food left out, so it's best to store food in the fridge right away. We enjoyed breakfast outside every day with beautiful mountain views.
