Holiday rentals with a patio in Franskraal

We recently stayed at this stunning holiday accommodation, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and a bonus was the spectacular sea view. We highly recommend this for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, tranquil setting with a host who goes above and beyond to make the stay a very pleasant experience.

Large apartment, well appointed (nice balcony including a BBQ grill even!), and very close to the cliff path for running / walking into the centre, as described. Wium was easy to communicate with and helpful, including recommendations on where to run (and where not to), favourite restaurants/cafes/activities. Providing coffee (pods for the machine, there is also a cafetière), tea and even fresh milk and some rusks was a nice touch. Parking is inside the gate. A couple of specifics which I particularly appreciated: knives still sharp enough to cut a tomato and - joy of joys! - an adjustable-height shower! The only one I saw in 3.5 weeks in South Africa.

The apartment was lovely, in a central location walking distance from the old Harbour, restaurants and cafés. I was able to work from the apartment with a comfortable desk and good wifi. Nonnie was a very friendly and helpful host, and she provided great recommendations, including going to the Saturday market in Stanford which was lovely.

Modern listing with a beautiful garden and patio. We loved sitting on the patio, watching the birds. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Tanya was a great and very responsive host. We will highly recommend this listing.

The accommodation matched its photographs perfectly. It was a lovely and comfortable two bedroom with spectacular views. Since it is in the middle of a wonderful area, we walked the coastline in the morning, took advantage of the shops nearby and could enjoy a tasty meal before heading back to this stunning location. We would absolutely stay here again. Svenia was very communicative and helpful.

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Such a fabulous weekend! The house is well positioned, light, airy and really well equipped with everything you need. Towels, linen, soaps and extra welcome gifts of wine fruit and milk didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for a truly super stay and allowing our doggies to stay too. We had such a relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. The space was private, peaceful, and well set up for a comfortable break. Our host was responsive and made everything easy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Truly a gem of a place! Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely large enclosed garden for the dogs. We loved listening to the frogs at night and the bountiful of beautiful birds in the day. Close enough to the main road with lots of restaurants and to the wandelpad for lovely long sunrise and sunset walks with the dogs. Allison as a host was friendly and accommodating. We loved Allison’s place and will always try to come back in the future. Thank you Allison.

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.

We had a great stay and Lisa is a wonderful host. You have to keep in mind that it is a little far to walk to the lagoon and would defenitely not recommend doing it after hours.

We had a great stay! Christellle was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clearly labelled so we knew where to find what we needed. Also appreciated the load shedding lights and candles. Would definitely recommend and we would also return if we were in the area.

In the middle of Hermanus with a stunning, unobstructed view of the bay. Apartment is every bit as amazing as depicted in the pictures and description. Very comfortable stay, all the amenities are pristine and in working order. Was wonderfully assisted by Elaine the entire time, and was so easy to communicate with. Walking distance to all the best spots and restaurants in town. Would 100% recommend and cannot wait to return.

What a HAVEN - an awesome and safe guest cottage! Luxurious bedding & towels with living spaces carefully styled with modern furnishings & art to highlight its best features. A huge window ensures you will have your morning coffee in bed overlooking a stunning Atlantic ocean or a late afternoon slumber with breathtaking sunset over the Vermont saltpan - double-up on mountain-view bonus & have sundowners on the balcony or deck. A splash pool, outdoor braai facilities as well as indoor dining space ensures you are covered even in windy conditions. There are many spots to snuggle up with a book & appreciate the take-one leave-one library. Fantastic amenities. A nicely stocked supermarket is a 2 minute walk away (the croissants are to die for) & you have easy access to the main road leading directly into Hermanus. Onrus beach is a leisurely 15 minute walk away – combined with the footpath from Vermont to Atlantic Drive and around the oceanfront you have yourself a wonderful 5 km route.

What a beautiful stay in Hermanus. There is a walk-way within the complex where you can walk to the ocean. Incredible views. Quiet and peaceful. Great accommodation!
