There are two barbeque (braai ) areas, indoors and outdoors on the seaview deck. Our private, self-catering flatlet has a modern, sumptuous interior with high ceilings. We provide a cooling fan, heaters, and electric blankets (in winter). The private sliding-door entrance is accessed off the street via a spacious and private patio under a large veranda. There is parking on the premises. The flatlet is only 100 metres from the coastline and paved walkways stretch for more than a kilometre along the stunning clifftop views, where whales can be seen close by in season.

Even though the property is in quite a suburban street, the moment you walk through the garden gate you feel you have entered a woodland away from streets and houses. We loved sitting up on the top balcony watching all the bird activity taking place at tops of the milkwood trees. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

My family and I loved Vinho Verde. The home was spacious and well-kitted. That view was captivating and beautiful! We didn't want to leave and we're now all fully convinced this is where we want to retire to one day. We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

As advertised. The area is ideal for those who wish to fish in the ocean. If you have small kids the access overall to the swimming beach is about 5min walk. The beach has a lagoon, which make for great place for kids.
