Cabin holiday rentals in Franklin County

Went here on a weekend getaway surprise for my boyfriend and I anniversary. The host messaged me to let me know it was ready. She also let me know recommendations for restaurants nearby and places to visit. The place was clean inside and the pictures didn't do it any justice! I felt like I was home away from home. I hope to do another stay sometime in the future.

Great quiet place to get away.

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Quiet, clean and cozy! Great location and the hot tub was a special treat. Sherri was responsive when needed. A great stay!

The house is super cute, very comfortable, clean and is easy to find. We were staying for a family gathering and would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in this area. We will definitely be staying here again.

We booked our stay here for a family ski trip, the house was the perfect find. The hosts were very helpful, kind and quick to respond. It came stocked with everything you could need for our stay, including lots of games. It was also VERY clean. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a fantastic visit to Rangley! Ryan’s house is beautiful. Right on the lake, beautiful fireplace, hot tub and plenty of space for our family of 5. A perfect place for a ski getaway. We went skiing at Saddleback which is a great family Mt. Ryan was extremely communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again with my family!

Cozy and quaint cabin in the woods. I was in the area for a work trip and this cabin perfectly accommodated myself and some coworkers. The surrounding area is beautiful and pristine. I love that the living room has large windows and access to a porch that overlooks the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stony Brook Chalet. This was a beautiful place to stay. Plenty of natural light during the day with all of the windows, comfortable couches & beds, decor that really fit the vibe of being in the woods, and a beautiful kitchen with everything we needed. Huge plus on the location with privacy we enjoyed a peaceful fire outside, the private trail out the back of the property and close proximity to many hiking trails including Grafton notch state park. We loved our stay here and would gladly visit again.

This was a perfect base camp for our ski trip!! The property is awesome! We seen a moose in the side yard as well! I’d stay here again.

We were traveling for work in the area. The cabin is clean, comfortable and very good WiFi. I would recommend staying at the cabin.

Great spot near Mt blue pond. Has mostly everything you need at the shack. I would have packed lighter if I knew it was fully stocked. But it’s good to know for next time. There are neighbors on one side divided by a huge fence. Shack was cozy, clean and peaceful. It was so nice of Alexandra to let us use the kayak! It was awesome! Kids had a blast!

Lovely, cozy, well-stocked, comfortable getaway in a fun and majestically beautiful area. Incredible attention to detail in every aspect of the home!

The hosts are extremely kind and the cabin is perfect for a nice getaway.. we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the trails, and our cat loved his time there as well. The firepit outside was perfect for roasting marshmallows and making smores, and we’re hoping to come back again.

Giving this 5 stars because it was exactly what we needed. Driving to northern maine it is implied you must be prepared to drive on desolate back roads and this was no exception. Road was dirt so just make sure youre prepared for that! House was so clean and sleeping felt cozy. Sandy was good at communicating and was accommodating to our late check in. Would stay there again in the future!

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

This was a spectacular location, and a cozy, comfy cabin. We had a wonderful time at Scott and Adrian’s cabin. The bed and sofas were very comfortable, and the cabin was fully equipped. The view is postcard-perfect. Just a wonderful experience and we’re eager to return!

Erin & Joseph were the BEST hosts! Booked before they were superhosts and honestly, they deserve it! Full kitchen. Cabin smells so amazing — like fresh lumber. Reminds me of my grandfather’s cottage from my childhood. There’s a fire pit which was perfect for our stay. Bed was super comfortable! We came for our anniversary and they left us water bottles, flowers, mugs, cake and cookies — which were SO GOOD! There was also movie snacks waiting for us on the coffee table! It’s so peaceful, we hated to leave. The natural lighting makes the morning sunlight come into the cabin so lovely. It was an absolute dream! There are also board games upstairs for kiddos! There’s also a trail to walk around in the woods. There’s tons of parking. If you like supporting local businesses, there’s plenty around for firewood, honey, pastries, syrup, etc. Erin was also so sweet when we forgot to take the trash out for checking out 🤦🏻‍♀️😆 Seriously, book with them! It was the best AirBnB experience we’ve ever had

Although the lack of running water and incinerator sound intimidating, Stacia has made the home work great with a pump for the kitchen sink, a simple tank with spout for bathroom sink. the incinerator was something new so took a little getting used to but definitely works great. the house is absolutely lovely, the area is peaceful, and quiet with a beautiful mountain view from the side yard, I think I only saw 2 cars on the road the entire weekend. if we go back to the area, we will definitely be staying here again

A lovely cabin! Had everything we needed for our family of four to have a quick ski get away. Love the decor. And a surprisingly large kitchen for the size of the place.

If you like to relax or fish, swim, or watersports this is a great place. Clear clean water and a lovely place to stay. Next time I will bring my 4x4 and the boat. Easy ride to Rangely, Kingfield, and other place with nice restraints and places to shop. You will love it and most of all have fun. Thanks

Best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in! Our annual ski trip was a total success thanks to Sarah and Clare’s sugar shack. You can tell they thought of EVERYTHING from the record player to the array of games to the bar cart to the fully stocked kitchen, we wanted for nothing. The space (in addition to being beautifully decorated and purposefully curated) felt spacious and very safe and clean. Sarah and Clare even went out of their way to offer an early check in which helped our travel plans tremendously. The only thing that could have made it better was if we could stay longer!! We hope to visit Sugarloaf and the sugar shack again next year!!

Beautiful cabin on Rangeley Lake. The cabin had everything we needed for a nice, relaxing weekend with our pups. We would certainly come back!!

Long time visitor to Maine, first time visitor to Rangeley and Amanda's cabin was perfect!! Upon arrival, the space was warm, clean, accommodating and just GORGEOUS!! Best part is that my pup Jordan was welcomed there. We travel everywhere together. We spent the evenings cooking dinner in her fully stocked kitchen and cuddled in front of the woodstove. Bed was super comfy and the views were breathtaking. Amanda was always available with any kind of recommendations. I highly recommend. I look forward to coming back
