Lake house holiday rentals in Frankfort

We had a wonderful time at Paul's place! The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious, perfect for our large family gathering. The private beach and pristine Crystal Lake is steps away. There were tons of toys, games, bikes, sand toys, and water sports items (rowboat, stand up paddleboard etc.) available for use. The downstairs laundry was really useful. Having 4 bathrooms was ideal for a large group. Downtown Beulah is an easy bike ride away. We hope to visit again!

We had a lovely, relaxing 5 days at this camp. It is simple but appears to be recently renovated. It’s not high end (the kitchen chairs are cheap plastic) but it’s clean, comfortable, and tasteful. It’s nestled on the lake with a gorgeous view. Sadly, the renovation did not include a dishwasher. Bayshore does a great job stocking the place - there are plenty of replacement supplies, including coffee. Two Bayshore annoyances: I requested a rubber spatula/flipper so the non stick pans didn’t get further damaged. Their response: I could purchase one myself. Also, you have to drag the trash can 200 yards up the driveway on Tuesday nights or “there may be an additional fee.” Still, I would stay there again.

Kari's home on Lake Michigan was wonderful in every way. The property surrounding the house is beautifully landscaped with lovely plants, flowers and tall trees. Much attention to detail was apparent throughout the home. The gorgeous art, accessories, and decor were impeccable. It was apparent that in the decor she kept the historical integrity of a house built in the 1970's while adding a modern & elegant touch. Kari was completely responsive to all questions and concerns. The kitchen, house and garage were stocked with anything you could possibly need or want on a family vacation. The view, the beach, the surroundings couldn't have been more perfect. We would love to have the opportunity to enjoy this home again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay! This place was so cozy and welcoming—truly a perfect getaway spot. The amenities were amazing and everything was very well-kept and clean. We especially appreciated the two separate living quarters, which made it easy for our group to relax and spread out. The canoes were such a fun bonus—we had a great time on the river! The location is also ideal—just a short drive to great food spots and super close to beautiful Frankfort Beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

I have stayed with Lizzie 3 times for ski trips to Crystal Mountain and every experience has been great. ilI look forward to staying again in the future!

Our family (4 adults, 2 children) stay at Sun Bear was wonderful. The home is spotless and beautiful with floor-to-ceiling windows on the Lake Leelanau side of the house, great decks facing the lake, a stone fireplace for those chilly mornings, and a pier for launching the home’s kayaks and canoe. Additionally, Sun Bear is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-stocked with spices and tools for cooking family dinners. Our host, Chris, was friendly, professional, and responded quickly to our requests and questions. He was also terrific about offering suggestions about restaurants in the area as well as places to see and things to do. He even went out and purchased the brands of coffee we enjoy. Talk about service! We will definitely try to stay at Sun Bear again.

Place was spectacular . Krissy is an incredible host.. the place is really great specially for family looking for a quiet place to stay.

What a fabulous place! Tom's house was just as described, neat, well appointed, and with lots of outdoor toys. Rent the pontoon if you can--that was the biggest treat! Everything was there that we needed, including extra toiletries which turned out to be perfect given we forgot some! Easy to spend a week here, with quick access into TC, a big screen to watch tv at night, and the great outdoors to spend the days in hiking with the dogs. We highly recommend Tom's place. He was so easy to work with and we really enjoyed our stay :-)

We stayed for a weekend with family and our fur babies and had an amazing time. Courtney let us check in earlier which was nice of her and we got to enjoy the water. The water was just as described crystal clear. House was super clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again next year.

House was just perfect. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Reasonable distance from Traverse City and attractions such as Sleeping Bear dunes. Amazing surroundings and environment. Comfortable beds too. The hot spa was a bonus. Thank you for the gift of wine and Cherry Republic chocolate! Both locally made! We enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed the home especially that everyone has their own bathroom. My kids loved the lake and fishing. Beautiful place!

What an amazing place! It is beautiful being right on the water and having access to kayaking and swimming right in the back yard. Everything was easy to find and navigate. It was the perfect mix of relaxation while being close to so many different cities and activities. We will definitely be booking this rental again in the near future!

Where do I start… this was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband and our fur baby. The house was exactly as described and is placed in the most peaceful neighborhood - while also being minutes away from everything Traverse City has to offer! Ramy is the most wonderful host; answering all our questions and suggesting some great local spots as well. We felt immediately at ease and truly could enjoy our vacation thanks to Ramy and this perfect lil home. We hope to be back next time we visit Traverse City! ☺️

Place was exactly as described. Perfect location for our needs and the ability to bring our dogs was a huge plus. House was spacious and well kept. Would stay here again

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

We loved this hidden little gem and just like the little gems we found around the Michigan and costal area. This place is super clean and has everything you would need. The hot tub, game room, lake close by and the fire pit is all a bonus. WE ALSO LOVE THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE IS DOG FRIENDLY!! Lots of great memories were made and thanks to this wonderful little cabin!

Hidden Pines was the perfect place for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed, so many activities, and surrounded by beautiful nature! Highly recommend!

Host was very friendly and very responsive! House was beautifully decorated, clean and very well stocked. Quiet at night and peaceful location across from Long Lake. Would definitely stay there again!

Carrie was an amazing host from booking the reservation to making sure check out was a breeze. She was so accommodating and friendly, I felt like I was talking with a friend. The home itself is beyond describable. Every room was immaculate and the backyard views will be something we never forget. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the big, private beach and water! I’m so happy we decided to spend our last vacation as a family of 3 here! We are already planning our next visit with Carrie when the baby arrives. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!! We highly recommend this home!

This was a great, cozy place to stay for us! The kayaks were fun and it was very peaceful.

Very modern space with all the amenities in quiet, natural surroundings. The home was in an area of upper Michigan that is in less-travelled with a quaint small town with good restaurants and small grocery store. All the more-travelled areas are in easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider going back!

Jeremy's house was very cozy and clean in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the harbor. Our kids thought the rotary phone and antique furnishings were so cool! It was an easy walk to the beach for sunset and near other sight seeing/hiking spots off lake michigan. Jeremy was also quick to respond to any questions we had.

This house is just as promised in all the photos. A beautiful house with a gorgeous view. Kitchen was equipped with all you need to do cooking or dining in while staying. All the spaces were clean and tidy with all the little things thought of like little throw blankets in the living areas to use, to puzzles and family & group friendly games. The hot tub overlooking the private lake access was perfect to enjoy in the evenings. Also the location! Cant beat it, close enough to downtown Traverse City to enjoy all the shopping and restaurants but far enough up on the peninsula to be close to many wineries and the downtown Sutton Bay area. We would definitely recommend this house and will be back when were in the area again.

This was our second time staying at this property and we love it even more than the first time. Such a beautiful location right on the water, plenty of space, clean and walkable to downtown so we hardly used our car. Our kids loved the third floor bunk room. A great extra space. We look forward to future trips at the Innisfree Cottage!
