Lovely stay in Peniche! I would highly recommend this apartment it was perfect.

The apartment is as described in the pictures and we felt right at home. The apartment accommodates well a family of 4, 1 bedroom with own suit bathroom and another room with a very big bathroom. The location is close enough to Nazaré and had parking in front of the building. But you need a car to reach anything. Location is grant specially if you want some peace and quiet. There were 2 down points, as we went during winter: the pool was not heated as described and we couldn’t enjoy it and the aircon was not working. Gladly they had small fan heaters that did the work. We did enjoy the place with high quality of finishing!

Very friendly host, quick response. The place is as described, very complete. Perfect for a getaway with lots os beach time and walkable city.

Emanuel was a great goat the place seemed brand new and five minutes walk to the beach. We had an issue with our key on the second night and he responded within a few minutes despite the late hour. Shower was excellent rooms excellent and kitchen very well equipped. He even brought me extra coffee capsules and which impressed this coffee fiend no end. We will return to beautiful Nazare and stay again with him!

We enjoyed Bruno's place very much. We felt right at home. It was equipped with everything you need. The view from the dining room is also super nice to the sea. We will be happy to come back.

The villa was excellent, with everything you need to cook and spend time, including a floor with games like pool and more. Proximity of an hour's drive from many recommended places to visit. The environment is quiet. We were a family of 8 and it was very relaxing. Comfortable beds, clean and pleasant linens. Everything was perfect except for one disadvantage: there is not enough hot water for showers for everyone after a long day of travel.

This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

Isabel and Renato are amazing hosts, from the warm welcome and fabulous table of food to the helpful recommendations. This place is fabulous for larger family groups, the beach is literally on the doorstep, you don’t need to bring anything with you, the hosts have everything covered. Turn up and enjoy your stay!

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

The accommodation was very clean and is very spacious. Yes, it was difficult to understand how to approach with the car to leave the suitcases, and the instructions were not very clear. In addition, it was confusing that I could not speak with the person who manages the listing, and they made me communicate with a lady through another communication platform and the communication was not very fluid or fast. You had to climb some very steep stairs to get to the first floor, and others to the second. It is definitely not a recommended accommodation for people with mobility problems. Outside of this, everything was great. The accommodation was super clean and tidy, perfectly decorated, everything in place and in very good taste. Everything is very new. Super well located, although being close to a bar, we noticed that the walls/windows did not insulate the outside noise well. Recommended place! They let us stay a couple of extra hours when checking out to leave our luggage.

Antje’s Airbnb is just a dream! We are three friends who went for the second time and fell in love with the house all over again. Just an hour away from Lisbon Airport, it's easy to reach and yet feels remote and completely private. The pool is absolutely amazing – we spent most days sunbathing there, having lunch under the pergola outside, and chilling in the comfortable living room in the evening. A paradise to unwind and fully relax. Antje is an amazing host, and we want to come back ASAP!

We have had a very enjoyable time here. We have relaxed on the terrace, enjoyed the peace and comfort of your spacious and uncluttered home, explored the village and its surroundings and had many fine walks along the lagoon and by the sea. You do need a car! Shopping at 1 of 2 large supermarkets is super easy and only 10 minutes away. We have had a few excellent meals out and Robert’s book of places to go to and things to do has been invaluable. There is an excellent express bus to Lisbon at almost all times of day (50 minutes) with a large free carpark adjacent. Finally, but definitely not least, is Maria Jose who has been so helpful, friendly and informative. She is truly integral to the house and its comfort. One word of caution - there are many open stairs and steps in this house which may be a challenge to less agile people. Many thanks to our excellent hosts Robert and Saskia!

Nice apartment, in a gated complex, surrounded by palm trees and sand dunes. Quiet, peaceful location, beach in walking distance A beach with fine white sand and the ocean is warmer than in other parts of Portugal ( we think so). At check-in, we received a pleasant surprise - a box with a bottle of wine and farm products. Many thanks to the owners, we enjoyed our stay.
