Holiday rentals with lake access in Fox River

Audrey was an amazing host & her house was cozy! The house itself had plenty of things to do inside & outside of it but was also in the center of many different places to visit. Furthest we drove to go somewhere was 15 minutes. Would 10/10 recommend Audrey as a host & her home as a place to stay!

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

We had a great stay at Lexi’s place. The view is great and the house had everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the week. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Great place by the lake. Close to Chicago for a day trip and great restaurants nearby. The home was well equipped with what we needed and the hot tub was a perfect temperature for the chilly evenings. Zan was a responsive host and we had no issues throughout our stay. The beds and couches were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and family was extremely pleased by the size and accommodation, the kitchen area and common area was especially pleasing for a large family together eight and the view from the balcony of the lake was our favorite of all and the walking trail and easy access to the beach. Jamie was extremely accommodatable when a few hiccups arose, and always sought to make sure we were happy. if ever in the area again we will definitely consider great property, wonderful view of lake and peaceful area.

This place is more than an Airbnb. Kim has an incredible taste in home decor and the place is simply put gorgeous. The view of the lake from the patios is breathtaking and the kayaking experience is amazing. This place gave me a reason to always stop at Peoria whenever I can.

This place was amazing to stay at! Plenty of light and space. The backyard view stole our hearts. There was everything from a grill to plenty of wood for fireplace, we had a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful stay with comfortable beds, great communication, Tea/coffee for the morning, new everything, and really clean. We appreciated Ben's responsiveness and that he went above and beyond to accommodate us for our 3 night stay. It is right near the U of W - Whitewater but quiet in the apartment. There was only some noise at night upstairs one of the nights. However, a quick text to Ben and he worked with them to get it quiet again. SO appreciated this stay and Ben's hosting skills! THANK YOU!

This home was the perfect little getaway. Perfect for visiting family and friends in the area with lots to do in places to eat, etc. the host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Irene’s place for a weekend get away. The apartment was easy to access and on a very private street. Irena is friendly and responds quickly. As stated in her post, it really was a 3 minute walk to the beach. We were provided with extra towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a private patio and beach towels provided, but you need to grab your own firewood. We had a concert in Chicago and it was only a 30-40min drive to Solider Field, Navy Pier and Shedd Aquarium. This place was a gem and a romantic destination, we will definitely book again!

Angela’s place is wonderful. It is right downtown in Racine, beautifully renovated, and spacious. Angela was extremely responsive, considerate, and went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. We were in town for a funeral with our toddler and she was flexible and communicative at a time when we were a little bit of a mess. :)

Amy was a great host! She was very responsive to all of our questions and made us feel very welcomed. We loved being right by the lake and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. An unexpected surprise was waking up Saturday morning to find an art festival right outside our door! My wife was like a kid in a candy shop, we love street festivals. We would absolutely stay again!

Man this place was awesome! It was so relaxing and peaceful. Everything was the way it was described. Definitely coming back!

Lovely flat in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva. Clean, with everything you need. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Includes two parking spaces which is a lifesaver in busy Lake Geneva especially on weekends. Owner Steve is friendly and very responsive. Highly recommend!

There needs to be a level beyond Super Host, like Extra Special Super Host!! Kelly & Scott would definitely qualify!! The Cottage is exactly as it appears on the airbnb site. What you don’t realize is just how comfy, cozy, quiet and peaceful it is. A quick 30 minute highway ride was all it took to connect with family in Madison this holiday weekend. When you live on water, it’s hard to do without the view. Not necessary with the Rock River right in the front yard here. Thanks for the perfect holiday weekend. Cannot wait to come back to The Cottage.

Wonderful stay! It’s the perfect location and has amazing charm. A short walk to Main Street shops, restaurants, and of course the lake! Brennan is a great host - responsive and shares local recommendations. Easy check-in/check-out process. Clean. Safe. Comfortable beds. All around great place! Would highly recommend and would come back!

My family and I had an amazing and wonderful time at Erick’s home. It was clean, well put together and it felt like home. Erick was so helpful and inviting we felt like family. I can’t thank you enough Erick for helping my family and I make beautiful memories. BTW the walk to beach was a piece of cake, and I’m 5 months pregnant. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💨. We have already planned our next visit.. thank you again!!! Much love.

Steve is a great host and the house was amazing. Couldn't ask for a better view and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

The house is quiet, clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking tools, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bathroom had all the necessary supplies including towels, shampoo, and body wash. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and only a few minutes' drive to the Indiana Dunes National Park, which made exploring the area super convenient. Stephen was a responsive and responsible host. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The best Airbnb we have stayed at. Their home had every amenity you could need which made it easy for our family to stay for the weekend and just enjoy our time together. Home is spotless (& beautifully decorated), hosts are friendly and responsive, and the lake itself is so peaceful. The area was perfect for our family and they have the nicest neighbors. Definitely would rebook this home!
