House holiday rentals in Fort Payne

Our family was in town for a graduation and I booked Katrina’s place for several days. I have to say, the photos are beautiful but they do not do this place justice. It was so much more beautiful in person and I was blown away. We all felt very safe in the house and the neighborhood. The house was spotlessly clean and Katrina was incredibly responsive … getting back to me right away or within a couple minutes. I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough!!! Truly a gem…

I was only going to be in town for a quick trip, and Jaims place was actually cheaper than a decent hotel where I was staying. It was so unique and different which I loved. It genuinely felt like I was staying a grandmas lake house. My friends and I had the best time and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The communication was great. We messaged Jaims when a dog showed up out of nowhere and she was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 no notes! Will definitely come back again.

Great stay. Close to Jarrods Place Bike park which is perfect for MTB get-aways! Food within 10-15 min drive with great options.

thoroughly enjoyed our weekend get away with life long friends after not seeing each other in many years. The house was very clean and very cozy for the family to gather and socialize. Cindy was very responsive any time I had a question, and very accommodating! Definitely recommend anyone needing a comfortable place to stay in that area.

Deborah was a great host and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our entire family enjoyed the clean, comfortable environment, the large pool, and the beautiful countryside of rural Georgia. Cary was an amazing host — very responsive and proactive with her communication. We hosted our bridal party at the Airbnb, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and extremely clean. 10/10!

Amazing place to unwind after a busy semester of teaching. Jamie’s cottage is well built, comfortable, and above all quiet. We spent restorative hours listening to the birds on the front porch with our morning coffee and lying by the neighborhood pool next door. Jamie is an excellent host in that she gives her guests space and is quick to respond if an issue arises. I would stay here again, no question

What a treasure this house was. The pictures in the listing were great but in reality it was even more impressive. The pool was clean, the house immaculate and the host was very responsive. The views of the mountains and valley at sunrise and sunset were moving. We'll stay here again as soon as possible. Thank you for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tommy‘s. He was very helpful with suggesting local places to eat and places to hike. The house itself is very well furnished with great and amenities. We particularly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and enjoying the screened in porch. We hope to stay there again when we visit friends.

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities! It was pristinely clean, smelling great, but not overpowering at all! Easy to check in, I had one little snag with the Ring alarm system, but Nicole and Damion responded quickly to help. The beds were comfy, pillows too, even though I brought my own. No ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but there were these wonderful oscillating desk fans that did the job just fine! I liked sleeping with it on so much, that I may have to get one for my own room! The TVs had many subscription services already signed in and available with a profile for Airbnb guests so that was nice. Shampoo and body wash was even provided! The view from the deck and the huge living room windows was awesome as well! Plenty of space to relax! Loved this home! Thanks for a great weekend!

It was great. The place is beautiful!

The groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We played board games and hung out inside the house and on the pier. We will definitely be back for a guy’s weekend. The house was ready early, so the host let us check in early. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and bowls. Beds were comfortable, lake views were amazing. While you’re here check out decks and docks, 360 grill, and Jake’s on the lake. Gadsden isn’t very far away and has a lot of food options and fun things to do.

Our stay here was incredible and we were heart broken to leave! We said we easily could have stayed another week! We felt totally at home here and had everything we needed for cooking and recreation. We loved the fire pit and the kayaks 🤍 The host was generous with access to their personal belongings making it so easy to settle in here. The view is absolutely astounding and that part of the lake is so peaceful. We loved that a HUGE part of the lake around this property is very shallow but still easy to get a boat in. 2-3 feet deep. We were traveling with kids and this allowed us to rest our minds a bit around the water. We will absolutely be back here!

We stayed in Rising Fawn to attend a wedding in Bryant Alabama but enjoyed this area so much! We hiked Cloudland several times, so many beautiful trails, waterfalls and cliffs with great views! And soaking our tired legs in the hot tub afterwards was so nice! We loved seeing the deer, rabbit, and groundhogs, very cool! PWe all worked a 1000 piece puzzle together and just really enjoyed our family time. Beautiful home and great communication, I highly recommend!

Brandy’s home is perfect for a couple or small family!!! The location between Gadsden and Weiss lake is great, you are easily 10 min from an awesome boat ramp and wonderful places to eat, explore and enjoy everything these towns have to offer. The home is clean, well organized and we will be back! This was trip 2 and can’t wait for trip 3 😁

Amelia’s home is a serene and peaceful place in a quiet country setting, but yet not far at all to the local attractions. She provides thoughtful amenities to go along with the home’s fun decor. She is an attentive host and an excellent, responsive communicator!

We had a fantastic stay at Bear Brow Cabin! The cabin was beautiful, cozy and had a fantastic view on the Brow. Cannot recommend more, especially for a pet friendly getaway! It is convenient to downtown Mentone, DeSoto State Park & Little River Canyon. Michael was very responsive, accommodating and offered great local recommendations. We will definitely stay again!
