A wonderful modern and well-styled home on a peaceful one just outside of Mentone. Wish we would have had more time to rest and relax at the home. As fellow Airbnb owners, we like to support other owners along the Airbnb journey and these guys have a great home in a great spot. You will not be disappointed. Go. Enjoy!

Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed she had actually removed the listing availability for the night I wanted to come, so I messaged her asking if it would be OK if I booked and she responded immediately. despite her having a funeral that day, which was why she removed the availability, she worked with my schedule and had the house cleaned and ready for me by 7 PM and gave me a late check out of 5 PM two days later which was very preferred for me and very much appreciated. The house was clean and peaceful. Location was very nice but I can only imagine how beautiful it is when all the foliage is back to life.

We loved our stay at Ashwood House! It was so clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials. We sat by the fire each night on the cozy patio furniture and walked down the street to the Wildflower Cafe to eat some delicious meals. We hope to return next summer. Thank you!

The most amazing hostess! This home feels like home. Janet thinks of everything! This wonderful 1920’s home has classic high ceilings making it feel airy with large rooms and multiple places to enjoy gathering with family or friends. There is no skimping on the decor, it is filled with beautiful period perfect furniture and artwork. It’s so relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things you need to really cook! The bedrooms are also well done. Crisp sheets on top notch beds make for great sleep. Outside is a wonderful covered patio with multiple seating and dining areas and it is absolutely magical with tiny lights, fountain and abundant plants surrounding it. You would never know that it’s only a few blocks to grocery and dining. What wonderful experience! I will always book this home when I am in the area.

Perfect location for activities and attendance to local venues. Beautiful scenery from lovely porch, comfortable beds, very clean and every amenity you can think of. You need not bring anything but your personal items and food.

If you’re looking for a place to stay and have relaxing clean yet comfy accommodations - look no further. Wendy’s place had everything you need plus anything you may never have thought to bring. We cooked our meals there and the kitchen was abundantly well stocked. The bed was so comfy, the shower absolutely steamy, the screened porch was cozy and inviting. We had a day where it poured rain all day. The living room with recliners and plenty of blankets was the perfect “in day.” The home is walking distance to Brow Park and several local eateries and a cute little convenience store. I would highly recommend staying at Wendy’s Place. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was nice and clean. The hosts were friendly when contacted. Had trouble with WIFI. Hosts gave us the password to the cabin across the driveway so that was fine. Good experience overall. We love the large walk-in shower with good water pressure which was a pleasant change for most places we have been. We’d recommend this cabin to a stay at for a couple or small family.

Very relaxing stay! Although it rained all the days we were there, it was great family bonding time with many games played and time spent fishing when we could. The house was as advertised. Only a couple of minor things came up that in no way hindered our stay. It would be normal things that would happen at your own home. Roger was always quick to respond with answers to questions that we had and was very helpful during the booking process. All of our kids made the statement that they would rather come back and stay here than go on a big trip. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy family time, this place is perfect for just that! Thank you Roger for sharing your property with us, and we are already looking forward to the next time!🙂

They were great, and the place was clean. The scenery is the best part, I love that they had an accommodating back porch that was netted in.

After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

This place was fantastic! The communication with the host was always quick. The parking is a little tight if all the units are in use if you have a larger vehicle. Great value and perfect location for us.

Needed a place to stay for Christmas and this was perfect for our needs. Has everything you need for a quick getaway. Dog friendly which is so helpful!

From the moment we entered with our 4 grandsons, we felt like we were on the movie set of an Indiana Jones movie. Such fun finding the hidden rooms and looking at all the artifacts that were placed throughout. Kristi was a wonderful host, answered all our questions and was very friendly & pleasant. It was a surprise for our 4 grandsons for our Camp Grand & the boys kept saying it was their favorite.

The place was awesome. Our stay was wonderful and Desiree did an awesome job communicating with us. Beautiful views and awesome amenities.

This was the perfect place to relax!! The sunsets and scenery around the cabin are better in person than in the pictures posted. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We enjoyed slow mornings with breakfast on the front porch overlooking the valley. Sight seeing each day and then getting back early enough to enjoy the sunset in the hot tub. We enjoyed exploring the Desoto Falls area and Little River Canyon. We drove to Chattanooga and visited Rock City and Ruby Falls. Angie was so sweet to make us a reservation at The Elevation Bistro. Elevation is a quaint little restaurant with an outstanding chef. My favorite was the French onion soup and my husband loved his hamburger. We both thought the pecan praline bread pudding was next level. This was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation I’ve had in a while. Spend the extra money on a good view….its well worth it!!

This cabin, is a slice of heaven wrapped in wood and wrapped again in vibes. It’s peaceful, transcendent even. Impeccable design; styled so well I started questioning every room of my own house. Every room looks like it was curated by a team of chipmunks trained at Parsons. But here’s the twist, the windows. Huge, panes of glass so clear, even mother nature was confused. The local birds? Not so much fans. They kept dive bombing the house like they were trying to stage a feathery coup. We lost count. Seriously, it was like living in a Disney princess movie… if the birds were drunk and had no spatial awareness. Still, it was the most serene, beautiful, refreshing stay we’ve ever had. We will be back. Highly recommend!

The home is very convenient to all things Mentone. So nice that there are two suites! We grilled one night and most nights enjoyed a relaxing fire in the screened porch fireplace. Kitchen is very workable for cooking full meals and wifi, TV and setting are great. Our dogs were able to run off lead as the home is about 1000' off the main road on a small lane. Loved the cabin feel and that there were bathtubs! You must see Little River Falls - take water shoes & play in the mountain water!

We had a great stay at John’s cabin! It was super cozy and peaceful! Definitely a great place to relax and breathe in the fresh air!

it is the cutest place. if you want a quiet place that is at back in the woods but also has access to the world, this is the place for you. we wanted to be able to breath fresh air and relax and this place was perfect!
