Cottage holiday rentals in Fort Myers Beach

We had an amazing week at Mona’s Enchanted Cottage! Enchanted we were! Mona is so friendly and communicative, offering tons of great local recommendations. The cottage is cozy, clean, private, and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking—fed turtles, saw manatees swim by, birds, and even an owl! A few small gators kept their distance but not curious enough to bother. Fishing from the dock was fantastic—I caught 25+ fish across 5 different species. There’s definitely more than you can count though. The bait shop with the funny name further down the road had the best bait and tips. The hot tub spa is the super nice kind. We grilled dinner most nights and had no issues with the internet to stream shows when it rained. The town is small and cute. You can definitely find a place to listen to live music every night. Our dog adored the doggy beach, and Barefoot Beach was super close with easy parking at 10 AM. We didn’t want to leave, 10/10—already planning to come back!

Séjour très agréable, calme une vrai vacance, belle maison propre, piscine et spa, et la maison était équipé de tout, rien ne manque. De très belles chambres avec des lits très confortables. La cour arrière donne sur un petit canal, de toute beauté de voir les bateaux passer, les gens nous salut. Très agréable. Tout est à proximité, épicerie, magasin, resto, la marina TARPON POINT à voir wow de wow tant la vue avec les bateaux que les restos succulent et les boutiques. A tout les samedis matin, à environ 10 minutes de la maison il y a un marché en pleine air, le Market Farm, super bien, et après à côté il y a le restaurant le Rusty’s pour le dîner belle terrasse. Et tout c’est endroit avec la possibilité d’amener votre chien. L’hôte Ingrid est très gentille, comique, et répond très rapidement à vos questions. C’est une maison à réserver. We spent a great two months in this newly renovated home. It has everything you need from kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, comfortable furniture, washer/dryer, and large screen smart tv. It is very close to the beaches of Ft. Myers and Sanibel. Perfect for a relaxing SW Florida vacation!

The place was very clean, and everything that required was provided. It was in a park setting, which suited us just fine.

We had two families and we both enjoyed our stay! The house was very accommodating for both our families with kids. We all enjoyed the salt water pool and patio. The information binder provided gave clear instructions for our stay and provided many recommendations for restaurants and activities to do. Stu and Cathy were very helpful and even personally check on us during our stay!

Very nice 1 bedroom house in a quiet residential neighborhood. House was well equipped and having a large screen porch was a bonus. Tina responded very quickly to messages and check in was easy with directions and keypad lock.

Had a wonderful stay during Christmas vacation 2024. Here are few things that worked for our family of four: -The house is spacious and clean with all basic amenities that we needed. -My teenage kids throughly enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. -David and Irina were very friendly and responsive if we had any questions or concerns. - The location is great! It is 10-12 min walk to the Vanderbilt beach and Mercato area (upscale stores and restaurants area) - Quiet neighborhood - The beds were very comfortable with good pillows.

Yuliya is a wonderful host, and we felt right at home! She was very responsive, kind, and left a binder that included some local attractions. The home was extremely clean, and included nice amenities as well. Thank you Yuliya!

Clean and spacious inside with a large yard for dogs on a quiet street. I would definitely stay if I return to the area. 5 stars.

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

This place was a hidden gem! We lucked into it being available last-minute for a three-night stay and couldn’t have been any happier with it. The place was clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had new appliances, and enough cooking equipment to easily make multiple meals a day. Bathroom was spacious and clean, with a really nice shower. The lot is remarkably quiet and private given its proximity to several main highways. Plenty of restaurants, bars, stores, and more nearby. There’s even a park a just a few-minute walk from the property.

This was a great place and highly recommend it. It's very peaceful. It's very close to things to do. 👍🏼

Such a beautiful place to stay at. So clean! Fort Myers beach is our favorite place to visit in Florida, so we will be back!! We loved that all the beach items were there and in great condition. I have stayed at a hand full of Airbnb’s throughout the year, and I have to say this was the best stock up one. So many bath towel ( all so clean you could smell the fabric softener on them), paper towel, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and cooking essentials. Thank you for being outstanding host Deborah and Patrick. We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sara’s charming cottage. The house was spotless and incredibly peaceful, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The beautiful pond on the property was a highlight—ideal for relaxing and fishing, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My son did not want to leave. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our day outdoors. Sara was an amazing host—always responsive, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We also loved having a barbecue outside the cottage while enjoying the nature. Overall, this cottage is a true gem. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway with great amenities and a fantastic host. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful home. Well appointed and well maintained. Everything was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The host thought of almost everything. Kayaks, bicycles, pool towels, etc. My only recommendations for improvement would be facial tissues and fans for sleeping. That’s it! That’s all I could think of.

My family spent Christmas at Kari's this year, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Her home was beautiful and clean, and it was decorated for the holidays, which was an amazing addition. It was perfect for my family of 6 people and 4 dogs. There is a beautiful fenced-in yard, which provided a great backdrop for my engagement! Would love to stay here again!

Chris and Iveta’s place was everything we could have hoped for.. it was extremely clean and the location was perfect. We brought our boat over and were able to leave it in the water right behind the house so we didn’t have to fight the traffic at the boat ramp. The house was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable, we literally had everything we needed with no stress. The restaurants are wonderful and are very close to the house, or the house has a beautiful kitchen and a grill outside. I have stayed in Captivia in the past but I will definitely be coming back to stay here next time. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful home on the water I highly recommend staying here.

Friendly owners, private location and a clean place to stay. All you could really ask for. If ever in Fort Meyers again, I would certainly look to come here first.
