Waterfront holiday rentals in Formigny La Bataille

Comfortable accommodation with a very pleasant sea view, we had a very nice short stay with everything available on foot nearby, bakery, fishmonger, restaurants etc. We will surely come back ☺️

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Gouville. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely sun-drenched balcony. We watched the sunset both nights, either on the balcony or down at the beach. Easy drive to Mont St Michel as well. We were sad to leave!! NB towels and toiletries not provided - not a problem, but worth nothing for those travelling from overseas.

We had a lovely weekend in Cédric's apartment. The apartment was impeccable, a magnificent view, everything you need nearby. One thing, the desire to come back!

We spent 3 days with our two children in Chantal's accommodation and everything was there: A warm welcome, an environment worthy of the most beautiful postcards and what to say about the accommodation: straight out of a magazine, we felt at home and the jacuzzi delighted both the young and old. Bedding to relieve any back pain and a real haven of peace surrounding. There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? We had a pleasant stay. The direct view of the beach from the veranda is superb. The apartment is very comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts are available and kind. The only thing that bothered us was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom when we arrived maybe due to a water leak or a lack of ventilation?

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

Simply beautiful. The view and the location of Arnaud’s place are second to none. We were immediately comfortable and felt at home. It is well cared for and clean. Arnaud made sure the home was heated for our arrival and even had the windows cleaned especially for us, as winter weather can impact them. We had a few questions and Arnaud responded with efficient answers and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay at Dominique's. The apartment is as described. The furniture, bedding and accessories are of very good quality. The decoration is very good, and the mirrors arranged opposite each other in the living room give a very nice effect which considerably enlarges the space. Bravo Dominique!

Pleasant stay at Karin's. Close to the city center and the sea. Nearby shops and a beautiful walk along the coast.

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

Very nice stay, good bedding. I regret not having been able to communicate with Julie. Airbnb requires us to go through them and I can never connect, it's too complicated. Before, I always had the host's phone. A bad point for Airbnb.
