Between the Forest and the River. Orchard Palace is a wooden chalet and comes with you in a rural setting deep in the heart of West Gloucestershire, close to the village of Westbury on Severn. The huge and fascinating Forest of Dean is a few miles to the West, and the lower reaches of the Severn within a few minutes walk. It is, then, ideally placed for family walkers and explorers on foot or bicycle in the woods, and for the world famous Severn Bore which can be seen at close quarters nearby.

A refurbished stone built, 1 bedroom detached chalet in an extremely quiet rural location close to good traffic links, long-distance footpath, Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and the National Dive Centre. Large lounge with log burner, sofa and dining table. Open plan kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and toaster. One bedroom with king size bed, ensuite shower and wc. Private patio and access to garden. 5 min drive to shops in Chepstow, 40mins to Bristol / Cardiff.

We are approx a 10 min walk from the 3 horseshoes pub and a 5 min drive to the Boyne Arms in Burwarton. Relax on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views of the Brown Clee and it’s pine forest. It also overlooks our pond which is home to our collection of Koi carp and occasionally a visiting otter!

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
