Holiday rentals in Fontana-on-Geneva Lake

A wonderful home that was well appointed, clean & a great location! We hosted Easter here with my adult Kids and grandson. We all enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and all the wildlife-many deer and even a coyote! So much room and a great layout for us to enjoy the home together!

We could not have asked for a prettier, cozier house that felt like a welcoming family home. We shared meals, played games and enjoyed fun afternoons and evenings bowling, shopping, dining and enjoying the winter beauty of Geneva Lake, off-season. Kitchen was well-equipped for our needs as avid home cooks. TV and WiFi worked for all standard needs. Loved being bundled up under a blanket with my coffee in the living room, and my college - age son waking up to share coffee with me. One evening we made a fire and played board games. Caitlin was beyond responsive to basic questions regarding how the owner wanted us to close up the house at the end of our stay. We felt everything with the house functioned well and location is max 15 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva. Thank you again for making this Christmas gift to a Midwestern mom more than we could have hoped for, and for a great first-time Airbnb experience.

Perfect retreat for our family of 4 to get offline and outdoors. The condo was everything we needed and more. From snacks and wine left for us, a full kitchen with dishwasher, plush linens and the fluffiest towels, we felt right at home. The golf cart and club access was incredible to have. The kids stayed busy with plenty to do and were super cozy at days end. We will definitely visit again!

Had a great time with our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Kids loved the basket swing in the backyard. They were fascinated with all the wildlife they saw. Wildlife ranged from your typical bunnies and chipmunks to turkeys and deer. Loved the fire pit also in the backyard. Great for roasting marshmallows! The men in our group loved playing at the little 9 hole golf course right there in Country Club Estates. I loved having coffee on the deck in the front of the house each morning. The Fontana beach is minutes away by car. Stacy provided plenty of beach towels, chairs and to the kids delight an array of beach toys. Was pleased that they had plenty of steaming channels on the TV. We were able to watch the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympics. There is a wildlife safari nearby that we all loved. The grocery store Daniel’s, was a mile away. Don’t miss downtown Lake Geneva. They have a Wetlands Nature Park with a stream that the kids loved wading in. A perfect vacation!

A Wonderful Stay! I had a fantastic experience staying there! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay, making check-in and communication a breeze. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, but still quiet and relaxing. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, a welcome note, and local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and full of amenities, towels, shampoo/conditioner, full kitchen with pots and pans, some kid toys and books, etc. Communication was very easy with the host and they responded very quickly to any messages. The only thing I would mention, which I read in another review, was if you arrive late at night when it is dark its a bit hard to find. I would suggest speaking with the security guard at the check-in gate to make sure you have the right route. Our GPS took us down a road that was golf cart only so it took us some time to find the condo. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

This was a great place to get away. Although it is a bit older, it is super clean and has all your necessities! It is cute and the fireplace is super cozy. The hostess was extremely responsive and helpful! Worth every penny :)

Joanne's place was perfect for our long weekend away with extended family. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything one would want to make meals at the house. The gas grill worked great and the deck provided space to eat and lounge. The living room had extremely comfortable seating for watching TV with the family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and furnished with all the necessities. The basement gaming area and outside space was amazing. From billiards to hot tub to cornhole to a putting green...and so much more. It was so nice to have an inviting space for everyone to interact, play and enjoy. And lastly, Joanne was very responsive to the questions we asked and was prompt in taking care of everything. This is certainly one of the nicer places we've stayed and would highly recommend to others looking for a house just outside of the busy streets of Lake Geneva.
